dangit. i was gonna do a full rant about how there are only 3 silver soldiers and how Crave is just crap in comparision but....
there is actuallly a fourth silver soldier...
ther eis a dwarf Soldier who can heal his life (like a phoenix (thats badd ass)) i dont know how he works. i only know he exists.

but anyways too baad there is no fourth silver soldier.
why the hell Soldiers are the only Silver unit with no male unit D:? i mean its not like we only raise Female units. we do like males (as long as there is only one per class per rarity)
there should be a Silver soldier!
(note: Crave is just crap and does not count as a soldier!)

Give poor Craves credit. He is your fodder so you don't have to use your good soldiers.

So close to completing the event. Just need the black fairy, Val, and Elaine.

Then I can finally go back to farming fairies to use with my 6 xp cans.

Ah, I finally managed to get Desparas skill to 4/5. Took me only 6 copies of Gadoras, which I count as a win with RNG.

On the account of farming black fairies. Personally I think it's better to sacrifice 5 SC for the UC+5 and pass War of Magic if you got enough witches, then to try one premium summon, if you have more than one black unit (plus there is also Anya next week). At least you can afk Low Cost Battle 3 where you can get a few affection items and not only fairies like the daily.

I was under the impression that you need 3 Calliopes max CR max CC max aff either way to pass War of Magic?

Will this UC+5 help to avoid the req?

I am desperately stuck at War of Magic for like a month already and I would LOVE to pass it with even 5 crystals spent.

I am desperately stuck at War of Magic for like a month already and I would LOVE to pass it with even 5 crystals spent.

With +5 UC, you only need 1 fully CRed max lvl max affection Calliope. The other witches can be max CRed Belinda and Cloris, both with 334+ attack. Adele can work too. Despara obviously helps.

Without +5 UC, I'd imagine you need at least 2 Calliopes both fully CRed, max level, max affection.

So I finally decided to buy the +5 UC to pass War of Magic. First run didn't work out with Belinda and Despara as starters. Second one I two stared it with Belinda and CCd Calliope as starters.

Team: C13 Belinda 50CC57 (100% Aff), C17 Despara 50CC31 (100% Aff), C12 Calliope 50CC50 (100% Aff) and two more Calliopes lvl20 without CR.

1. Belinda to U (skill activation the moment it comes up!!!)
2. CCd Calliope to V
3. non CC Calliope to X
4. Despara to T (skill activation)
5. non CC Calliope to S (could maybe do it without her but didn't want to chance it)

Now I can finally start grinding black fairies. CR-1 Nanaly I'm coming!!!

That's how I passed it. There should also be Xovians video somewhere on youtube. Hope it helps.

Has anyone actually three-starred War of Magic yet, or is that pretty much impossible at the moment, without the -1 cost to witches and the revamped targeting?

So I went and got some crystals to offer to the goddess.

Mortimer (WHYYYYYY?)
Adele (Yay, I can try for that last CR)
Victoria (My first, not bad)
Sakuya (YES, THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!)

Probably best to stop here and save my crystals for the next event/spotlight. I don't think CR is going to matter as much on a 21 cost unit, and the SU I can get from my army of Gadoras (I have 12, plus the 1 saved for Anya and the 3 I've fed to my 2/5 Despara)

The overall difficulty of The Grand Elder seemed quite a bit less than Ryujin King 1 or 2; I decided to test what was the minimum I could deploy and still 3-star the last event map.

Here's what I found:

All characters are 50CC30. Alissa and Mehlis are 100% affection; Kerry is 0%. No units were withdrawn and no skills were needed.

Cool! I think I'll try afk farming it then!

Well I did a daily try of premium summoning and got Garania. Now I can finally get rid of the last male unit in my team line up! Of course I need to get her level'd up and affection'd but still...

I don't wanna push my luck so I guess I might try another roll tomorrow, not sure.

Need new unit fast.....
While its true star event can use the time to lvl new unit and so on.
With all these break its starting to get nothing to do

With this affection item should be able to get 3-4 unit max-ed (consider there bonus chance).
Also have some on male side for 1 unit
