Haven't bothered to CC my Bashira yet, I pulled a Nanaly from my free SCs when I started playing and have just leaned heavily on her. I got Spica from the Trading House and she's my secondary / backup archer. Not as good as Nanaly for my purposes, but when I need a second archer she rocks too.

Pirates have horrible DPS though...
...that's not even fair.

Comparing Platinum Archer with skill to burst down enemies and Gold Pirate who more known for her ability to increase drop of DC in DPS department. That's not fair indeed.

There is at least two Pirates who has superior DPS to Bashira. That's Black Pirate Minerva and Plat Pirate Rachel, but we don't have them ATM.
Also Monica with Skill AW will get Gatling Gun and surprass Bashira and Rachel.

Speaking about DPS, there is an interesting post of Dragonpaladin with numbers of some Black and Platinum units. Bashira and Nanaly included.

The context asked for a Bashira vs Monica comparison, so that's what I did.

Minerva and Rachel are very good, that's for sure, I'll have to admit that I dismissed Pirates a little too fast due to them not being suited to deploy & tab out strategies , Monica with the Gatling gun is hilarious and awesome though.

Also, in that comparison, he seems to have made a mistake for Bashira's attack, which is 559 and not 529.

I have never considered swaping Monica in place of Bashira In place of Spica, yeah, however that place is taken by Elizabeth right now, but Bashira, no way in hell she'll lose her place -,-' Can't even imagine how Monica can compete against Bashira (not talking about AW, we dont have and wont have for some time now+looooong time to AW and get AW skill)

On alt I have Rachel so maybe there I would be able to compare somehow but there's also... Nanaly so....

That's the point. Bashira is my best ranged unit on main acc. Of course, against full defenced enemies mages and witches are doing better but still with her skill she's able to do some dmg even to those enemies.

Spica is good, but she lacks that dmg boost that Bashira has. Lately I discovered that Elizabeth is great, but still lacks a bit of dmg with more armored enemies and her range can be a problem. Monica.. inferior to all of them, the only place I could use her would be when I need that huge range pirates have.

Getting all frustrated today trying to get 3 stars on maps -,-' Main at least is very close with the last one, but alts... keep on doing stupid things that makes it seems impossible now...

New event info is usually the day before or day of maintenance, with all the skipping around in events...I wouldn't be surprised if they give us one of DMM's current events before we get Awakening just to piss us off.

New event info is usually the day before or day of maintenance, with all the skipping around in events...I wouldn't be surprised if they give us one of DMM's current events before we get Awakening just to piss us off.

I would actually love to do a current DMM event only to lose horribly at it in exchange for awakening afterwards.

I'm actually not mad lol the longer it takes them to give us Awakening, the more units I'll be able to AW the same week we get Awakening, assuming that its not limited to Black units only on release as it was in DMM.

Units ready and waiting for AW Fairy + Orbs:
Sybilla (30cc1 Phyllis, 30cc1 Elaine, 30cc1 Calliope)
Spica or Bashira (30cc1 Daniela, 30cc1 Daniela, 30cc1 Giovanni)
Monica (30cc1 Mortimer, 30cc1 Giovanni, 30cc1 Harissa)

All I've been doing the past month outside of farming event maps is leveling up AW materials and dropping Platcan + 3 Fairies on main units to get them closer to max. If they keep putting off Awakening I'll probably be able to AW half my cache before we get it lol. Only problem I'll run into then is needing the Orbs, sitting on 734 DC just to buy some AW Fairies as of this post. I'll probably have Saki, Berna and/or Betty ready for AW as well before January 1st hits.
