(Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

The feng shui user Mar (don't expect this name to be the same) will be the spotlight unit, expect her to be changed since at this point they haven't followed what DMM did for ages, but then following it would cause many units with a double spotlight. That and they like to give us several and not just one like they did previously.

Based on the FB post, they will put her and only her in the premium summon as a new unit.

@shortykilz:

Yeah, Nenya is not happening, that's for certain. As for the automata: another unit I'll get with a 5/10 skill I guess. This kind of events are easier, but it's pretty much impossible to get maxed skill units out of them. Oh well.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Seems someone tried to do my job. *shrug* oh well here you go anyway.

Ancient Automata Guide

Hello boys and girls, sorry to be the bearer of bad news once again... This event.. does not belong to momma Yurina... and will most likely have replaced lolis once again. So don't get your hopes up when you see them... however... the event is farmable for a few things... so cheer up ya? They will figure something out I'm sure.

Introducing Rikka! Need more ranged melee slot units? she has you covered! Duelist not covering things for you? she got you! No Karma so you healers can focus on other units? she got you!... okay well she can't really replace Karma, but you get the point she can be both a duelist and assist unit. She can't be healed so your healers can focus on your other units; while she heals herself up. Is she worth perfecting? Yes. Is she worth spending SC to perfect? Maybe, that is completely up to you, but I will be doing it. Just like I do with anything I'm sure holds a place in my fighting harem.

Comments about the event
There really isn't that much to say about this event. Overall is does not look as difficult as Horace's event was. I'll just warn you to prepare your magic users as quite a bit of units have massive defensives with little to no magic resistance. Odette if you have her might be useful on the god tier map. Since you have to deal with an Ifrit.

So anyway, I decided to finally do Golden Armor for once instead of wasting time on the event maps.

Updated afk setup for Golden Armor, since we have Pallis now.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

So for this event which unit would be crucial? Mages or witches? Or just any magic type?

I'm gonna have to improve my afk attempts now, despite using blacks I can't afk it that much faster, I do beat it a lot faster though. Maybe I should experiment with using the prince instead of a healer for my Mikoto/Sybilla duo.

I think you're best off with HA, Mage combo. Witches will probably be useful, but mages more so due to the AOE.

Mages and Solano definitely MVP for Rikka's event. Lots of puppets that need blasting.

Some of the puppet enemies in the later maps will have ranged attacks so be careful not to let your ranged units get shot to death.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

How useful is Marr among feng-shui users/in general?

Planning to use up some SCs either for leveling or for shots at her, just curious.

Fung-shui users heal everyone within range, with a range of about a witch(?) but at about half the power of a healer at that rarity. At least that's what I got out of it when reading the translated JP wiki...
As for usefulness, I think it'd be pretty situational. If you can get multiple units within range that all need healing, then it's good, but if not you're probably better off with multiple healers. That's my opinion of it anyway.

Feng-shui Users are a very, very useful class.

After CC, which is what matters, they have a range of 220, right in between a Witch's range of 210 and a Summoner's range of 230.

If I generalize a plat Healer to have anywhere from 550-600 attack, than I'd generalize a plat Feng to have about 350 attack. Fengs are also a bit more defensive with a small chunk more HP and defense than Healers. This is of course talking about max affection 50CC70AW90 stats.

Fengs heal at 84 frames, ever so slightly slower than a Healer that heals at 82 frames.

Fengs do not heal all units in range. Before AW, they only heal two units simultaneously. After AW, three. Don't let all these negative things put the class down though; just healing two units is equivalent if not more healing than a Healer of the same rarity.

Fengs also relieve the negative effects of some maps. Most importantly this refers to poison. By having them fielded, they will reduce the recurring poison damage by 30%/50%/70% base/CC/AW. This combined with their multi-heal makes them amazing for poison maps.

Fengs are great. Period. They help solve the problems of enemy AoE. They allow you to heal small chip damage on units without committing a single big heal to them. They greatly alleviate the healing that has to be done on ranged units. I really can't give them enough credit.

Mar specifically has some of the best art of any unit. I love those eyes and she does have a nice body. Her skill grants an attack and range buff like the buff that Chydis and Spica get, but she also gets the ability to heal every unit, not just two or three, in range while her skill is up as well. And she gets a very nice range bonus as her AW ability.

Edit: Mr. Awesome Exkale listed more information relating to Feng's ability to reduce weather effects and information on the other Fengs. He is a cool guy. I still have most of the technical non-weather stuff above though.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Geomancers (Feng Shui Users) are more useful over time, especially after being awakened and more missions are introduced where their perks become necessary.

Geomancers can heal up to 2 units at the same time within their range. After being awakened, they are able to heal up to 3 units at the same time.

Weather effects (Sandstorm, Snowstorm, Red Mist) have their duration reduced by 50% while a Geomancer is deployed. Terrain effects (High temperatures, Desert heat, Poison) have their effect reduced by 30% (pre-CC), 50% (post-CC), or 70% (AW) while a Geomancer is deployed. Do note that they have to be deployed for their perks to take into effect and only while they are deployed. You will not have any benefit from a Geomancer while they are on standby, defeated, or made to retreat.

How does it affect terrain effects?
If poison/high temperature damage deals 20 damage per tick, then while a Geomancer is on the field it will be reduced to 14, 10, or 6 damage.

Desert heat is an effect where deploying a unit will have reduced starting HP. If they lose 70% HP normally, then while a Geomancer is on the field it will be reduced to 49%, 35%, or 21% HP loss.

How does Marle fare against the other Geomancers?
Their stats don't matter too much since they are silver-tier healers and the stat difference isn't too far apart. The deciding factors will be their skills and what AW ability you want.

Krile's skill lets her heal for 1.2x~1.7x attack power for 25~30 seconds. The cooldown time is 44~40 seconds. Her AW ability reduces her cost by 1 and is further decreased in a mission that has a Snowstorm weather effect.
Marle's skill lets her heal every unit for 1.2x~1.6x attack power within her range (1.1~1.3x) for 15~25 seconds. The cooldown time is 29~25 seconds. Her AW ability increases her range by +15.
Mia's skill lets her heal for 1.3x~1.8x attack power for 30~35 seconds. The cooldown time is 39~35 seconds. Her AW ability increases the gold obtained by 13%.
Pippin's skill lets her heal for 1.6x~2.2x attack power for 15~25 (AW: 18~30) seconds, but the number of units she can heal is reduced by 1. The cooldown time is 49~40 seconds. Her AW ability increases the duration of a Geomancer's skill by 20% and increases their attack by 5%.

This is, of course, coming from numbers from the Japanese version that has had multiple class/unit changes. As far as I can recall, Marle had higher cost previously and had her cost reduced by 3 in one update. I can't recall any other Geomancer related buffs.

Why Geomancer? Their official character profile fanbook had her listed under "Geomancer." I'm not sure if the translation for Nutaku will be the same.

Not convinced? Here is a video of a poison swamp mission with Marle: . There is a difference in how much residual damage a unit takes before she is deployed.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Am I correct in observing that these types of missions usually last one week?

These missions do look easier than the last couple. Though I'm suspicious of that awakened Platinum they have in the guide videos, it looks like its being used for a passive UP boost or something? Still, they are completing the map with mostly silver and gold units.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

So it is going to be puppet girl then, huh. Well rip Yurina (and Cloris).

I would kill a man in his sleep in front of his own mother for a cost-reduced Cloris.

Farm events are always 1 week long.
Nasu is using the AW gold bishop Noel (1.5x gold after the mission) nutaku skipped her event since that little dwarf is to loli for us.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

So I got like six Rosalies and they all failed to CR/SU. Shit event etc.

Meh. I was approaching 700 DCs and starting to think the hoarding was getting ridiculous already, so I bought a second Spica and CR/SU'd her.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I have but one thing to say...

Bashira Best Archer.

Slight correction, Noel grants an extra 10% gold from clearing a Mission(affects 1.5x Gold Boost and Gold Get abilities) not 1.5x.

I have but one thing to say...

Bashira Best Archer.

Nanally called, she wants her title back. :p
