Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)
I understand that breaks are bad. I understand that we've been, if some would so use the crudeness, treated unfairly or even oppressively. But I agree with Blacksheep in that we'll never get the treatment that we want, even if for no other reason than that the devs just don't care, which could be case. I am hopeful that things will change. I understand that they most likely will not. I look at what we do have and can find satisfaction with the "lesser" product.
I'm not going to say I don't agree with it, but that doesn't mean we have to sit back and take it. That's far too passive and wouldn't have even a snowball's chance in hell of changing anything. Doesn't mean that even if we were to lay back and accept the "second-class treatment" nothing would ever change, but I highly doubt we'd get anything else beyond scraps if we all took that approach. I'm sorry but I just can not get behind that approach as it gives far too much power to the devs to do whatever they please, which could mean we skip 90% of the game's current content and we get caught up to the same event JP Aigis is doing. Call it paranoia or being stubborn I don't really care, but if I'm going to be forking over money for a game, there should be content relevant to the amount of cash I'm laying down to be able to validate spending it.
My problem with Lafate's post is that it lacks context. We are behind, but does that mean anything? Not really. Give us AW and the everything goes back to the minimize/eliminate break issue. GRs we are predisposed to not get. 1.5x drop rate we are predisposed to not get and are just glorified break weeks. Most of the units he listed exist in the future. Noel, Kagura, Chloe, and possibly Dorothy are missing because of the loli issue which isn't something anyone can do anything about other than, again, hope that they were greenlighted and hope the devs get them in. The only thing we really have every right to question, in my opinion, is Yurina and revivals.
You mentioned however that "most of the units Lafate posted were future units," yet we've already skipped over their events, be it temporarily or permanently. I would make a huge list of every single unit and point out which event and week they were introduced to JP Aigis, but with the shear amount of units we're missing, I would be working on it all night and I do not have the time to do so. Instead here's a list of the links you can use to cross-reference exactly when these units we're missing were introduced. Some of them may not be listed on the wiki due to Trading Post changes, or simply being Iron/Bronze units people don't plaster all over the place. However you can find out when they were introduced by looking at their individual unit page and looking under the bullet near the top saying "how to get."
These websites are in Japanese, open in Google Chrome and have it translate the page to your language if needed.

The entire reason Lafate included each of the units in his original post that he did, is because they came out in JP Aigis before the Anniversary event, which is listed in the Events link I posted above under "Adventures of Anna" between November 11, 2014 and November 20, 2014. I double checked what he posted to make absolutely sure that I didn't over look one of the units, features, story maps, or events/revivals he posted were after JP Aigis's Anniversary (not that I expected him to make a mistake like that) and every thing listed, we should have by now on English Aigis
if we were following JP Aigis's schedule 100% and exact to the week (because we can't follow it date for date because the yearly calendar does not work that way.)
But this is one thing I am genuinely curious about that you mentioned.
GRs we are predisposed to not get. 1.5x drop rate we are predisposed to not get and are just glorified break weeks.
How, when, and why were we "predisposed" to not get GRs and 1.5x drop rate events? And to that extent, what reason would the Aigis devs have to deprive us of them when they're part of the game itself and do not include units or events that could potentially violate International Copyright Laws if they were done as a collaboration with another company, be it an anime, game, magazine or otherwise.
All fox girls are amazing and I will not have you say otherwise.
Damn straight, I'd love to get the new Foxgirl that was just added to the JP version, but I don't have the cash (or lack the braincells) to throw away money I don't have at a less than 3% chance of getting her.
