Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)
Taikishi explains everything almost perfectly in his post on the last page. I got to warn you though, the orb maps can be brutal. They look innocent because you face generic "human" enemies, but their power is scaled up. I couldn't do any of them until I got a free event archer in the form of min-cost Ricola on DMM. As for the drop rate, they aren't that bad. I believe maybe 30% per orb. The real problem with them is that there are so many orbs to get. In the beginning, everyone will be running every map to get a stockpile of every orb and we'll be thankful for anything. Way later on though, when we're running these maps just to get one particular orb, the game will always be cruel and give you every orb except the one you want.
I'm not familiar at all with the exact process of awakening a unit, but I've been holding off on trying it on DMM until I get the process down on the English side. What else do you need besides the CCed units, money, and awakening fairy from the shop for 100 crystals?
The Awakening Orbs that taikishi expanded on in their post and since it is not mentioned in the banner it could be either a oversight or they can't implement the orbs or the orb dailys at this time. The wiki also mentions that you need Orbs for AW (and SA, whenever they implement it).
The latter would be pretty good, though since AWing would be a slightly less hassle, as apparently also in taikishi's post they mentioned the RNG for orb drops are pretty bad.
