(Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

my point is that no matter the rate of events everyone will survive just fine

Not really
If Nutaku pace like DMM
I doubt it~
Not sure everyone can handle the G Map

AW is costly , Gold-fodder-DC
With intertwine Event
People are forced to choose dailies/event
Mean short of resources

thats how its supposed to be really do i want x unit to be better or take a bit of time and power level my team and get ready for next event or perhaps current event we get the benefit of knowing alot of the units usefulness also me personally ive been skipping most g maps unless its star rush cause ts just a huge headache and stam/chr dump if i fail multiple times havent lost a good unit for it yet

So I dropped all 15 SCs I had on the premium summon in the vain hope of getting Aisha. While I didn't get her (what a surprise ), I did get Victoria. After looking through her stats and skills, she seems to be very promising, especially considering that I severely lack in the "ranged physical damage output" department. So overall I do not regret spending that SC on premium rolls. That's a first. :D

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

So anyway, the most important thing to be discussing right now, new waifu wars. Clearly, this new war is rigged, since there's like no one worth voting for besides Bashira.

I quite like Akira, don't think she will beat out Bashira though. I also like Azume, although her AW art makes me sad :(

I really like Victoria too. Her skill lasts a pretty decent amount of time and then it has quite a short reuse time, so it should be up when you need it. Haven't AW'd her but the passive could be useful, especially if we get more of the goblin mages and similar units.

1. She kills mages when they are in the middle of a swarm, so that normally I'd need someone with an AoE attack.

2. I don't have Bashira anyway.

thats what i thought to but bashira seems to target mages aswell

bashira
Shooting priority
Attack aimed at the enemy on a priority basis with a missile

victoria
Magic priority
To attack the enemy to use the magic aimed preferentially

whats the difference to me its the same ability with a different name maybe bashira targets archers aswell where victoria doesnt

Victoria is Love!!! She was actually my first summon, she and Spica can laid waste to everything in there way! Her AW ability cobines perfectly with Bashira's.

Bashira focus on Melee range attack and Victoria in Magic range attack

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Bashira attacks enemies using ranged attacks (magic or physical) over anything else. Victoria attacks enemies using magic attacks (ranged or melee) over anything else.

At least that is what I think they do based on descriptions. Not AW'd Victoria or Bashira myself so can't test. Also not sure if there are any magic melee enemies.

If there are both physical and magic users in range (that also use ranged attacks themselves), Victoria will focus magic users, Bashira will hit whatever is closest to the heart I think.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Clarification:

Bashira will target ANYTHING with a ranged attack first.

Flying Ranged > Ground Ranged > Flying > Ground/Normal priority.

Victoria will target things that do magic damage specifically. She will not target things like black goblin archers unless they are subject to her normal priority(being closest to the exit).

Flying Magic > Ground Magic > Flying > Ground/Normal priority.

Generally Bashira's passive is probably the more useful of the two, but there is a large degree of overlap, so whatever.

As for whether these passives are useful? Sometimes. This makes the two kinda handy for dealing with enemies that may otherwise kill them, but I've run into issues on a couple maps before too, most recently the Furfur event map on DMM - such problems can usually be resolved with adjusted placement though.

thx hoping for a claire release soon then

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Just a note. if a Melee ground unit deals magic damage instead of physical Victoria will target it.

I feel some people thing she will only prioritize ranged magic.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

It's been awhile, class has really been eating my time. 3-starred everything yesterday, but my bad luck persists when it comes to maps that can give a plat tin can, haven't had one drop from the Monday daily since the year has started nor have I obtained one from any other map that can drop one or give one as a completion reward, 4 runs of Final Vengeance G and not a single crystal drop. So, I'll just give up on that and focus on silvers since it's not worth the resources to pursue that any longer. On the plus side, that terrible luck helped keep my desire to try and roll for Aisha in check, so my SC stash is intact.

That was surprisingly easy for a star event. The shadow clone gimmick was challenging going in blind, and felt a bit cheap, but I guess I'm always up for something different.

I wonder if they will ever do a huge re-haul of the game engine to add more depth to the gameplay. Like:
-Unit scouting to show what enemies are coming next. Maybe certain units would add or boost this effect?
-Clicking on enemies shows their attack/defense/mr/attack speed/etc.
-Character voice on skill use
-Characters that move or can be upgraded during battle
-Characters with toggle modes instead of skills (shamans/bishops, for example)

It doesn't seem like they're interested in changing the game too much though, considering how little it has changed since original release. Maybe we can hope for an Aigis sequel that will keep the eng version up to date.

While the first three on that list don't seem very likely, the final option on that list has happened. Skill Awakening turned quite a few mode shift skills into proper toggles. Shiho and Marius have their skills turned into toggles so when the skill is used they will stay in offensive or healer mode until the skill is used again. However, it isn't entirely free as there is still a wait time and cooldown time, so it can't be done whenever you feel like it, but it gives a greater degree of control and tactical utility than the temporary mode change skills. Additionally, there will be future units that will have Base and/or Awakened Skills that are toggles, such as Black rarity Miko/Shaman Kikyo.

As for the second to last point, that somewhat exists. The Majin class, currently represented by Black rarity Rakshasa, is counted as retreated/withdrawn when they are defeated and can be redeployed after some time has passed. So, while they can't quite move freely, after they are defeated or withdrawn and the requisite time has elapsed, they can be deployed to another location where they may be needed, whether the same location or a new spot. Additionally, another new mechanic introduced with Platinum rarity Vampire Lord Racua is the ability for a unit to not be counted as defeated when their HP reaches 0, but instead remain on the field and begin regenerating to full health in order to keep fighting.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

-Characters that move or can be upgraded during battle

The second part of this definitely exists in the form of some higher-tier skill awakenings, in effect.

Over the course of 5 skill activations, black pirate Minerva's attack increases from x2.5 to x4. Most scaling skills behave like this but there is one exception in Alice the black monk. She incrementally increases her maximum hp permanently for the rest of the stage from x1.1 to x1.5 times(goes from 2600ish hp to 3900ish hp). Her attack boost also scales but isn't permanent. I would consider this is a true upgrade unit.

I'll be damned, anyone know the drop calculation for Imeria's?

Rather unrelated but .

Yeah, Nordland made a thread about it. Sort of ish sad to see it go, though it's more like a nostalgia thing, since I abandoned it quite awhile ago. Only reason I even played it in the first place was to fill time towards waiting for my Charisma/Stamina to refill on Aigis.

Interesting thing to note:

"That said, we’re not quite willing to abandon the die-hard fans who came from Lord of Valkyrie in the early days and have stuck with it through thick and thin. For those of you who haven’t left for Hitsuji, we’re putting together an excellent gift package that will allow you to transition to one of our newest, most popular games as easily as possible. You'll arrive in Hitsuji with some uber cool gifts matched to your progress in LoV, and the most dedicated players can expect to find a rare ally waiting for them."

I wonder what that "rare ally" will be.
