I hadn't touched her for so long because I figured Cloris and Calliope serve the witch slots in my team so well there's no reason to invest the exp, but since we have this big break I thought I'd level her up and see.

Yeap, that health boost is great, only beaten by Aishas (14%?)
And then Adele is a really strong witch on top of that, Belinda is really nice but Adele is so much better.

Literally what is the point of having an event for an occasion if you're not going to have the event when it's relevant? You can skip around and come back to other stuff but there's only ever one appropriate time period for these. It's not rocket science. If Tea Team really can't figure out how to schedule events, I'd be glad to do it for free. It would take all of an hour.

3. The event was not in any way shape or form skipped. Being behind doesn't mean something was skipped. In fact there are 3 more events before it is due. If it doesn't come then... then you can bitch about it being skipped. Until that point it was not skipped. You want to complain about something being skipped. Then do it about Yurina, Noel, Kagura, and Chloe. Those are the only skipped event units. You can potentially get away with Rita as well, but we are likely to get her next week. Didn't want to many back to back farm events.

4. There was no Christmas event the first year... did you want them to make up one for you? As for Anna = Anniversary... that is a no. She can come out at any given time and it would be relevant. She isn't tied to anything, but the game itself. It does not matter when she comes so long as she does.

Okay, I'd need a bit of an advice here. what to invest in this week?

I have only two units AW'd at the moment: Arie and Spica. Arie is maxed oout, Spica is lvl 50.

Options:

Katie:
+ passive boost is always nice
- I don't field her all that much: a lot of event levels need heavier units than soldiers pretty early on, so dropping two just won't happen and Arie > Katie

Saki:
+ Increased attack speed
+ would be surprisingly easy to bring her back her pre-AW attack
+ cost reduction
- she becomes really good with her AW'd skill, which is not available yet

Victoria:
+ quickly getting rid of those pesky mages with their aoe attacks would be really useful (especially since I don't have Bashira)
+ my only plat archer is Spica, so a good secondary archer would be really good
- she's only cc42, so I'm not sure if I can even get to AW with her this week
- I managed to do everything with Spica + Stray so far, so I guess it's not THAT urgent AW her

Thetis:
+ if we face poison maps, paralysing enemies and other such annoyances, then she would make things MUCH simpler
- if we don't, then AWing her won't do me all that much good

Bernice:
+ best tank I have
+ passive boost is always nice
- increased cost might screw up some tactics, especially the witch AW Orb one.

Betty:
+ I would kinda need that extra gold. I can get by on Monday dailies, but with the added cost of AW, I'll run out of it relatively soon (I have 1mil gold at the moment).
- her combat abilities are shit (and I don't like rogues to begin with), so she'd be only good for grinding money
- I'm not sure that I REALLY need her. I mean I managed to do two AWs without dropping below 1mil (I had around 1.3 mil when AW rolled around) and it's not like I have a lot of DCs or silver units stockpiled anyway.

Or, alternatively, I could go for just levelling units without any AW this week:

Shuka:
+ Passive boost and general unit cost reduction is REALLY tempting.
- I'm not sure if I'd field her over Katie & Arie all that much
- I'm also not sure how useful she actually is

Monica:
+ DCs seem to be the bottleneck for AW in the long run (especially if our TP starts rotating again), AWing her will worth it
+ I don't have any pirates levelled and since Beatrice sucks at being a pirate, she might be a good candidate
- DCs are not much of a problem right now, gold is more of an issue
- Frankly, I can do without her in my strike team, since I rarely need more than two ranged physical damage dealers and there's no way I'd prefer her over Spica or Victoria

So, any suggestions?

I already covered this one. Nutaku's first Christmas was when the game was in it's complete infancy. Their first Christmas event was just over 12 months into the life of the game. Nutaku's Christmas was 10 months into the game. It's not a huge jump to just put the damn thing in. Quit being so fucking condescending.

Monica/Thetis/Betty/Iris (not in the list) > Bernice > Saki > Victoria > Katie in my opinion
It really depends on your team though.

Monica: If I had Monica she would have been one of the first units to awaken. DCs are the only ressource I'm lacking at the moment. But she doesn't really increase the strength of your team right now, she's more of a long time investment. Your choice, if you are happy with the strength of your team right now, I'd go for her first

Betty: Pretty much the same as Monica. If you feel your team is strong enough, but you are lacking Gold and are willing to farm maps with her: go for it. I personally did not awaken her and don't plan to do so in the near future. I have 7 units awakened and still 4+ mio Gold and I would not want to farm pastoral gate: It takes too much time and decreases the amount of exp I get.

Thetis: Great duelist. First unit I awakened. Partially because I like her, but I use her quite often and the resistence to poison and paralyze is another great selling point. Depending on the strength of your other duelists she might be a good choice.

Iris: You didn't name her, but I'd advise to awaken at least one healer (negative status reduction and her heal when placed comes in handy). Furthermore you don't really need to invest a lot into her, AW30 is enough.

Bernice: This one depends heavily on your playstyle. I, for example, use HAs almost never, despite having Bernice and Gellius at max level (I used the latter exactly twice). I like Anya a lot more and most of the time I'm fine by replacing HAs with her. If you use them frequently she's a great unit to awaken

Saki: Cost reduction and increased attack speed are a big deal for her useabilty. Furthermore her stat increase after awakening is barely noteable, so you don't necessarily have to invest into her a lot. It really depends on whether you like her or not though. She is definitely replaceable and I wouldn't say she is a high priotity unit, despite the benefits for herself. I personally did awaken her, because I like her and used her a lot even before awakening. Therefore I really wanted to awaken her. Despite that she was only the seventh unit I did awaken, so like I said: Not that high of a priority.

Victoria: Not a huge fan of her. I guess she is okay and if you really want to and/ or feel the need to have a second awakened archer you can awaken her. Honestly I'd prioritize other units. For me She's still at CC61 and rarely used

Katie: I wouldn't bother with her. Aria is simply better. The 2% defence is a nice bonus but... meh. For me she's not used that often and will be replaced with one of the plat event soldiers or with awakened Shuka, when the cost in the beginning of a map is not too tight or when we get her cost reduction buff, whatever happens first

Well, unless we skip Fran/Flan, the Plat event Vampire Hunter, we'll have to fight vampires again fairly soon. If we go back and do Rita's event, then her event would be the event afterwards unless she is skipped or they do some odd shuffling around of events.

So, Thetis would be a solid pick, plus she'd be usable long term for other paralysis inducing enemies such as the Dracolich further in the future. Additionally, she would be a solid duelist that can handle a wide spectrum of enemies until power-creep forces the necessity of a stronger duelist to be an Ace, but even then, around that time she would, or at least should, have a balance patch applied that will reduce her cost so she could also be used to clear out trash in addition to dueling paralyzing enemies.

Other than that, other high priority units would be a Healer for negative status ailment/paralysis reduction, a slight uptick in power, and generally useful abilities and skill awakenings, and Monica. Monica does become an increasingly solid unit, especially with Skill Awakening. Skill Awoken Monica's gatling gun can wreak havoc, especially with a Dancer and/or an Enchanter in the future as well as aiding in the collection of DC.

I'll stop being condescending if you stop acting like you deserve something that you don't and that never existed in this first place.

Since you want to get technical.... The first event was not 12 month into the life of the game, but 12-13. That is a 2-3 months difference. Not to mention there was no actual Christmas event then.

Man those are some christmasy events right? Gold Rush is what happened on Christmas for the second year it had it. The even prior to it was an Anna event. Nothing to do with christmas. The only thing that happened for Christmas is the introduction of Ryuryu to the TP there was no event, and if you remember at that point in time for us we were still have Loli issues.

Hell even if they did get one at your so called 12-13 month complaint... do you have any idea how many other events that is skipping over in that 2-3 month period? Just to what? make you happy?

So ya at this point just shut up and be patient. It isn't worth skipping 12 events to get to a non-existent one that never existed.

That's pretty much everyone I'd consider fielding right now, the rest of the units are underlevelled (maybe with the exception a of Victoria, cc42 is decent enough already).

Thetis for a good duelist first, followed by a big dps class (Victoria) and then Monica.

Farne is in the game. Time to spend crystals like if there is not tomorrow, because she is literally a mass destruction weapon which also heals your party.

We're off to a good start. You always get this way when anyone challenges your opinion. Though I'd say so far this pales in comparison to the shitfit you threw when people made some suggestions for your AW guide.

I'm gonna give you a little tip for the stuff you're posting, even though I've already covered this a few pages ago and you either didn't read it, forgot it, or didn't care:

Take a look at the date for the Christmas event in the third picture. Now take a look at the date for the winter event in the first. See a trend? Good.

Here's another tip for you:

Take a look at the name of the Gold Rush in the second picture. See how it says it's a New Year's event and not a Christmas event? Good.

Now think for just ten or fifteen seconds and I'm sure you can figure out the trends.

And don't act like you can't fudge 2.5 months for a relevant seasonal event. You can. There's always room to step back to other events once the ones relevant to a calendar are satisfied.

I am not the only person who complained about a holiday event being skipped in December. Most of us did. If you forgot, that's on you, but don't act like I'm the asshole just because I'm repeating the same discussion we had back then now that it's relevant to a conversation again.

I am in agreement with everything Lafate has said. I do see the problem, but I understand that the problem is so minor that making a fuss over it is less than pointless.

And here is this: Nutaku started Aigis 3-4 months later than DMM did. Even if they did everything right, our seasonal stuff would still be off track.

Either be patient and get it when it comes or resign yourself. Ryuryu might be too loli, but she is just a TP unit. A bad one if I may say so. Eliza should be soon-ish. And no one should be thinking about Sarasa. And personally, no I don't care about getting Imeria with her pumpkin enemies so far away from October and I don't care about getting Eliza in the summer.

And as far as what we are missing, people have their priorities off. I've heard more complaints over Kagerou than Yurina.

While DCs may not be an immediate concern for you, keep in mind that you're going to need a ton of them and you'll almost always be farming Thursday, especially considering all the breaks we get, so might as well get that bonus up as soon as possible. Gold can be farmed through Rural Gate with Betty on any day, DCs are only available on Thursdays, for now, it should be pretty easy to decide whom to prioritize for better long term investment.
