I have no confidence like you that I can clear 24 stars ... Unless I power up my unit, which is quite hard to do for many reasons. The only princess I have is Themis and she's 49. Only have 1 CC Healer and other healer is Level 1... won't be good enough to handle the troublesome double dragon mages at end map. I just hope for platinum armor to drop at Monday. Can only do intermediate one, I not sure I can do hard one
While farming units for leveling other units can be a bit tedious at times, it can be done to get units to at least a decent level. Since units are very easy to level up at first, I'd recommend you focus on getting the team you're using to at least level 30. It makes a big difference in having the team up a decent level instead of only a few that are very high. Sure, some maps may need that one duelist to be higher then the rest, but at least by having a range of characters that are decently leveled it will help.
I'd work on getting that healer up to 30 first. 2 Healers seems like a pretty constant need for many maps. The good thing about doing it this way too, is at first it is relatively cheap to accomplish gold wise. The first 20 levels are often done in just a few sets of combines depending on what maps you have unlocked.
If you are under level 40 (prince level), Pastoral Gate is the most efficient to use, and works well at getting your base units to level 30. After that it largely looses its effectiveness and can start costing you more to level the units than it's worth.
After level 40 hopefully you'll have Tower Overwatch unlocked, and this is often considered the farm map of choice till you can beat Castle Retake.
As for units to worry about CC'ing. An archer is most peoples first or second choice depending how soon they want Katie completed. I went with an archer first (was before I got Nanaly), and it made a world of difference on many maps due to the increased range.
You've still got a few weeks, so you got plenty of time to get your team ready. Slow and steady will get you there. I've got to work on my units on my free account, cause right now they aren't ready yet. So I'll be doing some farming of my own in between my STA runs for Blacks Fairies on my main.
Think a couple of people already said they have her. So not sure.
