So what's the big deal about Sakuya and Nina?

Sakuya just looks like another soldier with more offensive capabilities instead of reinforcement, and Nina is an archer you can put into a melee slot.

Neither seem all that great, or is there something i'm missing?

Ninjas are great because ranged slots are so limited. We get Saki in trading post though, I would rather have her.

So what's needed to CC the silver dragon guy? I guess 2 random irons and another silver dragon + the fairy?

Woop woop, event 3-starred! Seemed to be around the same difficulty as last event, but this time I had more prep. Actually had a bit more trouble with Ryujin King 2 than with The Grand Elder.

Positioning is definitely key for the tough maps. 2 CCed healers and a duelist such as Kerry or Conrad CCed or at least near 50 are also essential. After that, some good mages / witches / archers and you're golden.

Help me out guys:

Is it really worth maxing out (as in CCing +CRing) that silver dragon guy?

He is a male after all. That means he'll be pain in the ass to max the affection plus in the end he (supposedly) will be quite weak as compared to female HA (Leanne).

Am i right?

Or is it worth it???

oh and my results on the event so far:


1st run: all maps three starred, the last one two starred.

2nd run: last map three starred.

Drops:

heap (like about 15) of bronze dragons

1 silver dragon

1 gold fairy

2 demon crystals

silver mage completion drop from Ruyjin King 2

Sidenote: information on what are completion drops for other maps would be highly appreciated.

The role of the samurai unit is a mid-tier anti-rush model. As a whole, I would say they are a pretty niche unit, and you don't have to have one in your team. That said, pair one with an early mage drop and you will clean goblins out from here to infinity.

The role of the ninja is indeed basically an archer that can be placed in the melee slot. That may not sound like much, but it is actually pretty damn useful when your ranged slots are already competing with witches, mages and healers (not to mention all the cool new shit we'll get later on). So having the ability to plop an archer-esque dps behind your main line can help you expand your tactical opportunities.

While you don't have to roll for these two examples of the classes, I would plan on eventually picking up at least one of each (samurai and ninja) if only so that you have the classes available for you to experiment with.

The silver dragon isnt being CC'ed for use, he is being used to skill up other units as his skill is shared among several unit types. Same skill = chance for skill up when combined.

I suppose you could build one as an actual unit for play, but most people have better units due to previous events and gatcha rolls whether 2k or premium. Now if he was a gold or plat, then we might have something to talk about, but silvers are everywhere.

3 Starred everything with my alt account....really wish I could trade Sybilla on it to my main, though that Super Dragon Mage wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, however those damned axe throwing dragons were as troublesome as I thought they would be, it's lucky thing I had CC'd healers their DPS can really do some damage.

Never realized how much I needed a CC'd Archer until this event, makes things easier.

Is there any reason to hold onto more than 1 bronze dragon or should I go ahead and use the extras for feed?

The final mission was disappointingly easy compared to the prior event final mission

Well so far event wise made it to "Depths of the Earth" and two starr'd it only cus I didn't pull a unit away fast enough, ah well easy 3 star next go.

However daily event wise I just noticed I must have done this mission countless times on Normal mode (can't seem to do Hard yet, may need a video) but I've yet to get the last Fairy type.

Do you have 2-3 max CR'ed bronze soldiers? They make it really really easy.

You can always max CR 1 for replacement of bronze sold (bronze dragon min cost 5) since you will get plenty of them (about 60% drop rate on higher lvl map).
Other than that just use it as fodder
