Tried some rolls today... got only silvers... sigh. I feel like I wont get Sasha :(

Kay, finally did it. Never touching this map again.

MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The key to clearing this map is the placement at the end. Once you remove Karma, you have to stagger the heal timing with your 3rd healer. If you get the timing wrong, all 3 healers will heal at the same time and Leanne will die. The timing on this is VERY precise and it's the difference between 1* and 3*.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Calliope was not used.

This strategy is REALLY difficult to pull off. If you have a unit like Anya to replace Leanne for the double golden wolves at the end, it makes the run a LOT easier.

If you're using different units, it's possible to fail if you don't plan properly. Max Cloris and Daniella kill the first dragon at the latest point possible without skills. This is done on purpose, so you can save up some extra unit points. Next wave will spawn as soon as that dragon dies.

Kerry delays a single werewolf. Do not assist her with dps on it. By letting her kill this werewolf solo, you stop the next wave from spawning. This gives you more time to get points for mage deployment.

Pop Cloris and Daniella's skills for silver werewolf, if you don't Katie can die.


All female units are 100% affection

Well theres another way of seperating the 2 gold by puting another tanker i think ppl should know by now =P (or used my way 3 witch on the skill gold wolf XD *it only atk my HA 2x before died)

and as for event.... as expected i give up on Ada since after all these time i only got 3 copy so far :p

You can do it with 4/5 Leanne as well. Mine was 4/5 the first time I successfully tanked them until I decided to finally 5/5 her today. :p

The 4/5 run was before the strategy was perfect though so a unit got through.

Also, freemium doesn't have a 3rd witch unless they cced 2 Calliopes or were around for Belinda event.

Seems like my questions were buried. Happens fast in this thread. Still curious on these points:

1) Does the 30% Ranged damage shop buff increase healing as well?

2) Any idea on the minimum setup with above buff to get through War of Magic? 3 Star preferred, but 2 star acceptable.

Available units CC'd Cloris, CC'd Calliope, other Calliopes.

1. Yes
2. Calliope 11 UP or 12 UP (X2) , Cloris. Both Max CC Level Max Aff prefered. Maybe not Max CC Lv , but Max is sure better
And some Mage 40-50 / 50CC30
Quite imposible to 3* without Belinda / Witch that have increase range.

4/5 def kinda cuting it close though with the heal power o_O
and yeah i was around belinda event hence 3 witch, i also got caliope CC for the sake of war and magic.....

Well the 3 witch is if you don't have karma since you will be pressing the skill duration once that gold wolf come close.
as for the last 2 gold wolf coming the safest is still have 2 tank (duelist also fine if their def high enuff) and 3 healer (depend on ur duelist / tank def)

well it basicaly just mean there alternative strategy pick whichever better for ur team :p

I was having trouble with separating the double wolf personally. Because if I dropped a dps from what I had in the video, the gold aura wolf would still be alive when Karma's skill ended.

If I drop a mage for another tank, aura wolf stays alive, gets past karma, then kills Leanne.

Also, said second tank would need to be able to survive long enough for me to swap two more mage for healers. Bernard would be my next tankiest silverwise, but he's still weaker than Leanne, and his skill would be down.

Another issue, would be lack of a 4th healer, since I can only use Iris/Dorca/Alissa, since Chydis isn't available to newer players. Since Bernards defense isn't high enough, I'd need a 2nd healer on him to keep him from dying. My cced christopher only has around 220 attack because of 0% trust as well, so he's completely useless.

If this were an any event unit run, I could just drop Odette and Solano, and my damage problems would be completely gone. :p

Karma/Belinda/Shiho seemed to be enough to down the gold aura wolf for me.

But I'm done with Golden Wolves G after 10 or so runs (half of which failed because I'm a derp).

Haven't seen any silvers yet, but I've got four Adas and one plat armor so far. Add one more plat armor and a Rosalie.

And then I don't really need spirit of rainbow anyway

Spaming 4'th Map instead
Got 2 Sanosuke today , totals 5 copies so far
Still Giovani is harder to get , only 1 so far
As for Ada , only -2 CR. And then didn't really need her
So I treat her as an EXP fodder instead

Would it be a good idea to use a few Spirits of Rainbow on Katie to raise her skill level? I'm frequently giving Nutaku money so I can keep the Deluxe/Legend card, so I get more every month.

It isn't the worst idea, but I think that Victoria, Lyla, and Marius can get better use out of them.

Edit: And Monica and Fedora for golds.

All raising her skill does is reduce time to use at start by .7 seconds, and reduce the cooldown by 1 second per level. If you got tons of fairies to burn though, leveling to skill 2 is 100% success rate, so that's completely safe if you think it's worth it.

I only have the one fairy right now, but I get five more in December.

I'm inclined to disagree, Victoria and Monica can just be fed dragon steaks(Gadoras, Silver dragon from Anya's Event, we'll likely get a Revival soon), Lyra could eventually be fed Rorone(Event Bandit, requires CC, but everyone has a ton of Bandits lying around anyway) but as a Bandit she's already pretty niche so it's not particularly useful, Marius gets very little from a higher-level Skill, -0.5 seconds WT and -1 CT, no change in duration, he can eventually eat Sharon(Silver Bishop with the same skill, think Spica and Lauren) too. Fedora could technically be fed Belindas, which will probably be our first Revival, but boosting range is very, very niche, I don't really think it's worth it either.

That means every level of her skill offers 0.7/1.7 UP more than what she'd have before, considering that she's likely the first or second unit you're dropping, that really helps on difficult maps with tight UP.

Personally, I'd go for Bashira and/or Gellius, with the latter benefitting from Rainbow Fairies more than the former. They both have a good AW Skill and near-unique Skills that can't be raised properly(Bashira can only be fed copies of herself, Nanally or the Black Ranger, good luck with that. Gellius is a little bit easier, Gold Samurai Kojuurou has the same skill after CC, still not easy to get a lot of though) so they're my recommendations when looking at your unit roster.

speaking of rainbow spirits (which i have a small bunch now):

Do you think it's worth it to invest a couple (hopefully) of them to get Shield of Light Gellius skill up to lvl 3/5?

ATM i'm simply in total luv with this guy - he's hands on the best tanky tank in the game (IMHO even slighlty better than glorified black Deine).

So I wonder if upping his skill further will make him even (noticeably) better.

Any ideas/opinions on that?

EDIT:

one more question.

Since i have that (unfortunately, a bit wasted, sigh) platinum male tactician Jerome, and perfect Aria (from event) - will I ever need Katie at all???

I mean for the past 8 months or so she's just been lying a dead weight in my unit pool -are there any events where i will need like THREE tacticians?
