I have all the golds as well and welcome all the new ones into my collection, can just use them for awakening. What I dislike about this event is the lack of progression through the event. Its the same low cost, easy, shit drop rates through the whole thing. I didn't know how Gold Rushes worked before this event so wrongly assumed that as the event went on the maps would get more difficult, there would be better drop rates and the event would just be more fun.

I'm sure there must be more people than just me here that only wanted to try this type of event because people who played DMM made reference to them occasionally. Considering Aigis has been out nearly a year I think a lot of us was just expecting a bit more from an event at this point. If this event had been released months ago I'm sure people wouldn't have been as disappointed/frustrated, it's just that the event feels kind of outdated now.

They'll be frustrated no matter what. Even modern Gold Rushes can take luck since the high value drops have a low percentage drop rate. It just takes luck. Nothing is earned and it's not "free." Time is spent. Get the units that are worth your time (Bernice/Healers/Rogues) and be happy if you get any extra units.

Trying your luck for 2 stamina per attempt is really good for free players so they shouldn't complain. If they want to feel even worse and lose more than just stamina, they can always just spend 5 SC on premium summons and likely get a silver unit.

Well, no real surprise there as originally this event dropped right after Belinda's. Gold Rush seems more or less like a "break" event giving new players or struggling players a little leeway while giving quite a bit of free units as well as SCs and it seems like the difficulty is more or less the same from what I've seen taking a peek at the other two that are still to come with the only change being that Charisma went up by 5.

Fair point. Agree on the timing issue.

I asked some time ago if any knew whether the gold maps would get more difficult and pose more of a challenge and didnt get a reaction.

Believe no one really knew.

Problem is, getting golds is or sounds really good, so big wish for it to happen. Information gap really.

But with little to no challenge, a slow release pace, it's welcome gets worn out real quick, so those 14 days suddenly seem looooong.

This is of course unless one is right there on the curve where this is, well, "golden".

I suppose I am actually there, with a 1 month old team. But thing is, the pull is building up and facing down the challenge, love the rewards ... the ease of it all? not so much.

Of course it's outdated. But we wanted them to go back to skipped events, and now we got it. There shouldn't be any complaints.

It's good to just get this out of the way. It's natural to be frustrated with the crappy drop rate. It's stupid to want another event instead of never getting this one.

Besides, this is yet another "break" that people were clamoring for. You've got a huge surplus of charisma to fall back on after you've expended all your stamina, so that's plenty of time for leveling or farming fodder for gold. I will smack anyone that asks for another break after this, seriously.

Ya, I'm definitely not skipping anything in this event. I learned my lesson with needing silver for CC a long time ago. Awakening is mearly an extension of that.

To awaken your standard two archers your going to need either 4 gold archers, or 8 silver archers. Considering silver units are already used to CC units to begin with skipping a gold unit even if he himself is less effective than my current archers would be shooting myself in the foot.

I will welcome stray number 5 into the army as soon as Cellia stops hiding in the corner and lures that golden fairy out to play.

Seriously though get the units if you can you use your silvers every time you CC a unit, almost every time you want to boost a gold units or higher skill. Heck platinum and black units take 3 silvers to CC.

Even if you don't intend to use the gold you get you will use em for fodder eventually.

Also can't wait for Betty, can't wait to finally get her and level her up in preparation for awakening.

Kind of, I had originally started playing quite a while ago. Then I lost interest for the longest time (I'm like that) and forgot that upon losing interest
I had deleted my account like a retard. And so I returned about a month ago.

All gold rushes are made in such way that new player could get collection bonus from them. They are intended to provide new players with starting pack of "essential" golds, not to entertain older players.
Even current gold rush on DMM, 3 years after launch, is braindead easy. You can get completion bonus from only 12 sta map with like, 4 silver units (if you let liches and Metus pass without engaging them). And drop rates are terrible, I still didn't get Ryry from map 1 or Rushil from map 3.
So GR1 is not "outdated", its just such kind of event.

They have to balance the maps to not show bias towards golds. Best way to balance is by having them all have similar drop rates, cost similar amounts, and be easy, especially to attract new players.

Gradually, GRs do change. Eventually, past event plats get added to each map. On subsequent runs of a 3* GR map, the event plat will come in as an enemy, weak enemy at that, and she can be farmed. Low chance, but farmable nonetheless. Also, the current GR and the last GR had one map each that cost 90/12 and had guaranteed drops; this naturally means a guaranteed gold. The first GR to do this dropped Cuterie and the second, current, GR drops Leda (Thief who boosts drop rates). So they're making drop rate boosting units even easier to acquire, but I wouldn't expect plat or higher boost units like Celia in the future.

Edit: As for drop rates specific to this event, a lot of players don't know that Belinda during her event was as rare as some of these spirits. Also, while it is natural to want to get every gold, players should pick and prioritize certain golds after they see the bad drop rates. Like with everything else, prioritization is important in GRs too.

Belinda last map drop rate: 8%
The spirit in gold rush drop rateL 15% 10% 5%
Future gold rush drop rate: (in general 30/2 map) 50%x2 / 10% / 5%

Its normal to focus specific gold unit in fold rush as not everyone can be lucky to get them all.
JP ver gold rush always combined with revival event, making player to do some cost management where they want to spend.
Edit: the worst is the timing is exact the same with 1.5x drop rate daily / story map

As someone who has played the JP version and had a big nest egg, I've just started on Nutaku's English version. Just happy to be able to read the text now, but I'm only level 57 and gold rush is perfect timing for me. I only have two CC units (both silver, Solider and Healer), but I can beat each map and get some strength with gold units. So I'm happy for the timing.
