People don't leave Nutaku because DMM is ahead. That is NOT the reason I left Nutaku Aigis, that's for sure. They leave because the spirit of the original game is in large part lost and they want to experience it as it was intended. Slingshotting the event schedule would actually make this worse. A brief summary of complaints people generally have:
1) Inconsistent event schedule.
2) Out of order events.
3) Lack of additional DMM rewards/incentives/bonus events(Gold Rushes).
4) Lack of information/communication.
5) Random patching priority(Len has no attack up affection like she does on modern DMM, but Mikoto behaves like her modern DMM version... why exactly?)
6) Lack of specific units(obviously).
None of this will be rectified by jumping forward. In matter of fact, it exacerbates the problems of #1 and #2, and in effect, #3.
Also, most players that aren't uber whales would get trashed by the high-tier stages in modern events. Not gonna lie. Many events are designed with previous event units in mind.
Edit: Also, if you want to try running a unit farm and item collection event at the same time, be my guest, but you're crazy.
