(Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

As for the G map, I can arrange that. I'd need 4 platinum fairies and 3 tin cans, but that should be manageable. I'll just move on to the next map, that can drop the tin cans, grinding the Tuesday and Friday Dailies and some challenge missions should take care of the fairies.
Bit of an important side note I forgot to mention but, in Draa's strat they used Yurina, which we don't have, however I used Anya as a substitute which you do have and even better is at max level. They also used Jerome too, but you have Aria so it shouldn't be a problem.

If you're worried about not having enough time don't be, but to warn you it may be close so have Katie selected before the black goblin archer wave and activate her skill as soon as you can, then withdraw her, then immediately place Anya as fast as possible to tank the archers. If there's at least 3 black goblin archers left and they're out of Spica's range, don't worry as Minerva can deal with them so you can withdraw Anya at that point.

Here is Draa's strat for future reference.

Watching the video, I think the only critical part is the Gilman rush at the middle. There Chydis may or may not be replaceable by Fedora. If I survive that just fine, then the rest should be smooth sailing to three stars.

Yeah, don't worry about that. In my alt account I actually used Fedora as a substitute and it worked fine.

Minerva RNG might be pretty good since as mentioned in Draa's description they had to do several tries for Minerva not to OHKO 3-4 Gilman. I don't know what your Maribel's skill is, but if it's at least 3/5 25 seconds could work.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

So anyway, played around with it a bit, and this is the result.

Relies on RNG, but has 6 empty spaces you can fill with units of your own choice to increase your success rate.

Thanks for this, managed to 3* using it.

Agreed, thanks for the video. I think I can 3 star it as well. Those units are some pretty low requirements.

Edit: Ironically, I'm actually not making it with that strategy. Probably just need to pay a bit more attention to timings and such.

Thanks for the guide, managed to snatch one more Rainbow.

First few times I tried I wasn't paying proper attention to skill timings and units were dying or enemies got past. And if Minerva needs to assassinate at the right time.

Once all the healers are down at 1:20 in the video, the only change I made was to remove Daniela and place down Solano in the spot above Bernard. Her skill makes it a bit less reliant on Minerva assassinate I found. But you need to make sure you remove her and place down your mage for the red demons. Without a mage skill for that part a black goblin might slip through, I used Garania as my mage and her skill just came up in time.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

i'm not so lucky with rainbow fairys right now, Clissa decided to waste 2 fairys at 2/5 and 1 at 3/5 so far. Clissa is my most wasteful unit other than Olivie who wasted 8 fairys at 4/5.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Hmm... Maybe I could put Stray down, activate the skill once the first fish's health is around 1/3, kill it before the second fish arrives and therefore avoid the double damage. That way his skill might last long enough to take the second fish out as well. I block the third fish from above with Echidna (with a bit of luck, I'll stop it so that Beatrice could shoot it) and replace Stray with Shiho. She will, hopefully, take out the swimmer on her own with just one healer support. if not, then switch to Cloris. Again, finicky as hell, but might work.

This worked! I activated Spica's skill half second earlier than previously, so she got in two hits on the first fish before it moved out of her range instead of just one. That was enough for Stray to kill it off just the in the last moment before the second fish arrived, so I only had to activate his doubleshot there.

Echidna could outheal the DPS of that one fish and since I stopped it in the right spot, Beatrice took down half of its health, before it slowly moved too far from Echidna to shoot her anymore. While that was happening, I switched out Stray for Cloris for the third fish. Cloris did it, although it was a close call: the fourth, half-health fish almost got in range by the time Cloris was done. Since both Cloris and Julian (whom I'm usually using instead of Katie) were on very low health, I didn't wanted to risk my progress, so instead of letting Cloris soak up some healing power, I switched her out for Shiho. Once the last swimmer was dead, I switched on Shiho's skill to make extra certain that Julian wouldn't die under the double-Gilman barrage. He didn't and I finally got that damn 3 star rating.

A big thanks to Rawr1125. While his initial tactic did not work for me, he made me realise two key ideas:

1. Managed well, one healer for the bottom ranged spot is enough.
2. I don't need an extra HA for the bottom line to survive.

Without these realisations, I would've just give up. Took a while to get this done, but hey, at least I got away with a whole bunch of DC. Silver linings and all that.

Awesome it worked out for you.

Also, I decided to make a video featuring Draa and OukaTK/Rawr1125's strats combined, mostly did it just to show that Fedora is good enough to replace Chydis and that I liked the strat in putting two archers to deal with the goblin rush rather than using Yurina/Anya.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Had some good experiences with Cypria (50CC51. 26% aff) and an low (lvl40, no cc, Alissa, born with some aff) developed silver healer support attached to her for this event in general.

She is survivable enough, holds a mob down, and will assassinate it soon enough and then repeat for the next fish filet coming along.

26 blind (pondering whether a unit can take another black demon hit on last map, should probably lead to one removing and replacing instead of doing a well lets see. oh well. ).

Time to settle back (last * will come eventually on its own with regen) and see what tuesday brings in terms of anniversary news.

So with awakening hopefully coming soon I was wondering if there was a certain order that you should awaken units in. Like with CC the priority was an archer, healer, tank and solider first (at least that was what I read). Would it be the same for awakening or do you just awaken whatever will have the best awakening skills?

I have Betty and Monica ready to awaken to make getting stuff to awaken other units a bit easier, but I'm not sure what to do after that.

Many new videos.
Credits on sharing page.

I'd advice to go with units who have best AW abilities first (like those class-wide buffs) or classes which get AW perks, because stat gains from AWing on many units are very thin till you raise it back to high levels (you actually lose stats when awakening, and at around AW30 unit will be same stats as CC70).
Good candidates: Spica (attack buff for all archers), any healer (halves paralysis duration), Katie (def buff for all units, also being first unit you deploy most of the time, higher stats make life much easier), Aria (attack buff for all units), Bernice (def buff for all HAs, 4 blocks), Rowana (immune to paralysis, poison and other status effects).
If you have gacha blacks, consider them.

Also, skills don't change upon awakening. Skill awakening is different thing and I doubt we will get it at same time as awakening.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

huh maybe that is something I should look into. AW priority... by class... cause fancy...

I mean overall any of the item girls (Monica, Betty, Lyla, Cuterie.. etc...) would be a focus because they get shit faster... statically speaking... but after that most don't know... though from the little I've heard it is general what orbs you luck into.

but then that begs the question what prioritizes that orb... because it changes with rarity.... I mean you could awakening a bunch of gold units faster then one black or two plat... but... are they worth it...

*start searching for info*

Also....

Though I have to update it and redo some picture due to changes that happen on GC... maybe I'll just go with seesaa... haven't seen them change images...

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Cuterie, Betty
Does anyone on Nutaku have shortage of affection items or Gold? Personally I have several hundreds of rubies and 3.5 mil gold, and I play only since Karma event.

Even Monica has very small ROI, taking very long time to earn back DC spent on AW. IMHO Cellia is only drop-buff unit Nutaku veterans should bother to awaken in the first batch, because there's always shortage of fairies and even 2% buff for rainbows is huge deal.

I have 0 affection items personally as someone playing since day 1. :p

I'm with this guy. Also Awakening is expensive.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Not really, if you factor in 100 DC per awakening. I've awakened 3 more units on DMM account during last star trial event, and then raised some plats to levels 50-60 with just bronzes, and still have million of gold left, because monday daily generates gold much faster than even 2 DC dailies generate crystals. Noel got pushed way behind in the aw queue for me, since I don't feel any need for gold now.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

The shitty thing about AW is... Demon Crystal
Dang!!! Even 500 DC feels like too few

For priorities I recomend Katie
Dat buff is good , and almost 75%++ You will deploy Soldier at first
But Katie is more to Def type , so if You like attack. Aria will do

Also , the AW Blue Orb Map is very2 hard....
Well , reason is My team doesn't have Gold HA
But still , can manage them even on blind run. Not 3 Star at first though
And the most Horror is the one with Bow Riders Boss at the end
Damn...... almost waste 90 Cha for nothing. Manage with only 1 life left

I wish next Trading Post or Event on DMM will give HA unit / Soldier
Need new one to replace Phyliss

Also.... sorry boys
But somehow I do not agree AW ing Betty
The one with Gold getter IIRC
Well , maybe You guys on Nutaku is flooding with resources
But on DMM , getting 100 Gold chance? While she will cost 100 DC , 200K Gold , AW Orb , Silver fodder
Sorry...... but that is quite a waste and expensive. After all , no time to rest
But this only a personal opinion. Of course if she is Your waifu
You will still AW her~

If someday You guys have a Platinum Rogue on Nutaku
The one with passive of 2% Silver Unit drop
Do GET Her!!!!! After AW it will be 4% IIRC
Well , I'm Lucky enough to pulled her
Not that 2% will make great boost , is still depend on RNG
And I personally still doesn't feel her power yet

Anyway , AW in DMM is quite... Expensive T_T
