(Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Sure who cares , it is only 1000 Gold
For some quite an amount
For some , MEH~

Just , that is not quite a good service
Not that I participated anyway

Still... good laugh~
Oh well~

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

You're saying it as if the contest would've been removed permanently. It isn't. It is delayed by a few days and that's it. Could've been handled better? Sure. Is this a big problem? Hell no.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

It IS just another thing to add to the growing list of complaints though.

I mean look how many people are joking about how even Nutaku is encouraging people to move to DMM Aigis already.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I'm farming the black dragon cave, and it's very funny how Saki always assassinate the creature before his energy drops bellow 50%.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Well there are two ways of looking at this. The way Eab does, that it is just another thing to add to the mountain. Or Overgoat's way, which I agree with. After everything that's happened, after all the complaining we've done... you're going to even go so far as to notice this? Pebbles on a mountain don't amount to much.

Black is bad. Red forever!

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Don't really see the problem. People failed to understand the competition so they are going to make it easier for people to know what to take a screenshot of. It will save people complaining after the contest is finished about not knowing what to do.

For fangs I'm currently on 313. Been farming the black dragon cave map and got 4 or 5 pirates as well, can't remember if I already and one of them or not.

So long as that's the case. Nutaku specifically said it's going to be replaced on Monday with one of "equal difficulty". That doesn't necessarily mean they're putting the Claudia one back up nor does it necessarily mean that everyone who entered the Claudia one will have the requirements to enter this one. If it does turn out to be Claudia going back up with the same requirements, then nobody has anything to complain about but a few lost seconds.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

You mean Blue? Seriously, you're crazy if you want anything other than Pallis. :p

I farmed up nearly 20 Pallis from Horus' 20/1 map with nothing but natural regen, I don't need more. :p Red for me, I need a ton of Rogues to CC Pirates, Rogues and Samurais.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I honestly just want to get at least 1400 point without spending all my SCs , was keeping them tu buy a barrack , i got only 26 free slots =\ i'm full of silvers and spirits =\
I must say.. i really dislike Item Collection events , they take both all ur time ( aka u can't do daily quests) AND lot of SCs to get something decent out of he event, the other events ( most of them) can be completed in 2 days or less and the remaining days of the event u can choose to farm for silvers or do the daily quests u need (like the one for the crystals since awakening is almost here).

As long as you don't burn your free SC frivolously, like buying premium units or buffs, you should be fine for the few item collection events that come along. I was sitting on about 30-35 from the last few events that I haven't had to buy buffs on to clear all the maps. Had about 42 after I 3 starred all this events maps.

The only downside is that collecting free SC is much harder on our version since we're missing all the apology SC, revival SC, bonus event SC, etc.

This is all that needs to be said. :p

SC is easy when you never roll.

*proceeds to laugh and cry simultaneously at anyone who has a plat, black, or Mehlis*

Star Events are the only one that can be completed and ignored, Farm Events require all your Stamina to max out the unit plus a few SCs on top of that if your luck's average-bad. While Collection Events are indeed expensive, the units they offer are almost always very good.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

@1micio1
Game needs to earn money some way.

Presenting a player with a choice of spending or missing out is the obvious hook.
Thats what Unit Collection and to much lesser degree Unit farm does.
Star Events are disguised breaks after the player has crossed a 2 or 3 month treshold of building up.

We simply happen to be confronted with it rather rarely due to event poverty on Nutaku, so much so that people has built up habits to the contrary setup, and tend to forget that it is the entire foundation and life blood of the game outside of the Gatcha.

No Revenue, No Game. You are by design supposed to feel the "pressure".

@Nirhael like that Black Necromancer on DMM? /Wink. If Nutaku ever gets there, then there is something to look forward to, Black rarity, Necro 3x dmg skill and true dmg as Unit Collection reward. Or a closer example, like Karma here, once AW comes around and powers her up.

Isn't revival supposed to be their way of earning money? Forcing newer players to spend sc or choose between doing a revival event and the current events?

They just choose not to, so I doubt it's a matter of needing to earn money.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

The primary source of revenue for games like these is, without a doubt, whatever Gachapon they offer. Everything else is a lure to entice people into spending money, when that happens, it's a lot easier to tempt them to spend more and more and eventually start rolling for units they want from the Shrine so you get new whales.

There's a guy with something like 15 Aishas on the DMM version, I'm not even sure if some of them might be CR-ed, take a moment to consider how much money that must've cost.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Any content that presents the player with more choice and goals within a limited time frame than stockpile+regen can solve will do the trick.

For that they use events.

- Unit collection is designed on purpose to achieve that purpose even as a stand alone.
- Unit farm is somewhat the same but more depending on luck as good luck will allow one to complete it without restorting to SC use or paying.

- Revival can be effective too, but mostly due to presenting an additional event.

But they occur too rarely (1/month), can be for units people already have (veterans) & new players gain map SC to offset costs a bit, to be said to achieve the prior types purpose fully.
Their effect is mostly as an TP event, building crystals towards buying the current or more often a future units (same crystal is used).
Revival is unlikely to be the primary money drivers as their low(ish) occurrence indicate and only partial impact on player base compared to the other two which pushes new units that none in the player base have.

The primary money drivers are without a doubt GATCHA and more Content than can be consumed by natural regen, where Unit Collection pushed the hardest and Star Event the least. This in turn feeds into each other, Events keep players coming back and wanting better units so they GATCHA, and in turn having the Events gives a place to use the GATCHA units.

(This in turn allows us to ponder Nutaku Aigis for a short moment. It has less units (in GATCHA) and less Events (50%+). Its feedback loop is broken or borked (depending on perspective) with obvious effects on its revenue stream. Important note : not saying it does bad, but it likely underperforms a lot compared to what the expectations to it was based on the original. IF we accept thats its basis is that of a normal social online game. but nm on that. Short answer : revivals are unlikely to be a major revenue driver in itself, it gains its effect in combination with others)

Edit : and what Nirhael said. edit2: and Urizithar

They just choose not to, so I doubt it's a matter of needing to earn money.

You get SC from the event for 3 staring missions so if you just spend those you get a decent numbers of runs on revival missions. Enough to get a copy of event unit even if it was black rarity and in case of lower rarity even 2 or 3 units for a guaranted SU and CR. Paired with fairies that rise skill of said event unit you get quite useful unit without the need to spend anything. You need to dump SC only if you want to perfect that unit which is just a luxury. On the other hand for the price of farm event's SCs (~6) combined with guaranted first time drop you can easly get your farm event unit to at least -2CR and 3/5 or 5/10 and most likely even further if your luck doesn't suck. So you aren't really forced to spend to get those units.
