Dang, the main didn't get Momiji even once so far, but eh that's okay. I already decided that I was going to primarily do Crave and Lauren farming anyway.

MIsha was not added to the summon data, so with a probability of about 99.9% she has been replaced

What were the events the Dark (Black?) Knight appeared in again, outside of the obvious Dark Fighter ones.

Black Knight has appeared in a variety of events as just the generic "evil" enemy. About half of a year ago though, they introduced a specific dark knight, Deiji?, who had his own personality and goals. Deiji? was in most of the events as the enemy commander from about a four month period, scheming and trying many different things to not only stop the Prince, but commit other evils and try to advance his position and power.

Black Knight has appeared in a variety of events as just the generic "evil" enemy. About half of a year ago though, they introduced a specific dark knight, Deiji?, who had his own personality and goals. Deiji? was in most of the events as the enemy commander from about a four month period, scheming and trying many different things to not only stop the Prince, but commit other evils and try to advance his position and power.

And then he joined up with the prince in that one event, Elva's right?, and eventually became a unit himself. You never truly know where you end up in life, eh?

On the Momiji event side. I've 3-starred the first 5 maps on my first try blind run. I will attempt G in a little bit.

I've gotten zero of Momiji and each map the only thing to drop was a fairy, a demon crystal, or Bronze Armor Russel as there was now fairy or other drop on that map.

EDIT: Just realized I've only gotten the last drop for each map. Why do I have such strange luck?

Black Knight yes? (I don't know the story for most characters, let alone Elva) Such a generic name and unit, but at least he is strong enough to be a black.

Deiji I think is still out there. After so many defeats, he is working in the shadows, gaining power, working out a master plan.

Haven't the resources for X, but maps three and four gave me Momiji. Pretty decent, but once I start farming X my drops will probably be lower than average at 33%.

No, the one who became unit is previous danchou (IIRC, he never had any name). デシウス is new one, who resurrected kurokishidan and now opposing prince while engaging in petty and stupid schemes.

DMM doesn't really get anything super special for their Christmases. They have a Christmas themed TP Witch and an ice themed event Witch. Outside those two units which have loose ties, the most they've gotten is just a GR or bonus drop rate weeks.

It could also be that it is doing well enough in its current state that they think changing it to match DMM content rate would make it do worse. Its been a long standing preconception in the japanese gaming world that westerners like their games easier.

Well they're sure as hell making it as hard as they can for us by giving us post-AW events pre-AW with revival difficulty and cutting some of the best units in the game.

Pretty much.
Basically, all able commanders from kishidan joined Prince side at the point of his appearance, so new kishidan he made is now just in-game joke.

Well they're sure as hell making it as hard as they can for us by giving us post-AW events pre-AW with revival difficulty and cutting some of the best units in the game.

I apologize, I did forget about Sarasa. Still not too big of a deal, they only got two blatantly themed Christmas units. One is TP and not powerful, the other whose entire class has questionable use. And theming is never a big deal in my opinion. Is the fact that these two units are wearing red clothing with white puffs that important?

Not really revival difficulty. Paralysis was fixing a mechanic. Even if it made things harder, from a technical standpoint it is better that they introduce the correct version of a mechanic as soon as possible. The swimming sahaugin... that is pretty much an isolated instance. While inexcusable, it doesn't fall under any sort of neglect by the devs. More of a "lol" thing especially considering the Water Dragon sahaugins were slower than the Beatrice ones. Even though quite a few units have been cut, the only two that have notable impact and strength are Claire and Yurina. Claire was cut since launch and Yurina has been MIA for so long I don't get why people insist on bringing her up.

I'm annoyed they picked a samurai event unit. I don't see myself ever using this unit except to cap affection and unlock a few scenes.

You also forgot Mischa who as far as I can tell, has been a staple in a lot of silver 3 star videos. There are probably more that are important, Liana vs Black Iris is a good example. People keep bringing up these units because 1. we have absolutely no reason to not have them, and 2. they want them. This is a character collection game/TD game after all. It's not unreasonable to find a bunch of missing characters displeasing.

Speaking of another missing unit, we've also got Kagerou who has been MIA for quite a few events now as well. This continues to leave us without a silver ninja to start collecting and CCing for awakening. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see the devs throw her in some random event AND add her to the awakening pool for the classes that should have had it already.

At the end of the day there's next to no reason for the developers to keep cutting content and it's getting mildly frustrating to not know why they're doing it. These are questions we've kept asking and Nutaku won't go to bat to find out the answers and the devs certainly aren't giving out that info.

Bullshit.
Noel is very important source of gold, much more important than Get Gold units.
Kagura is one of precious freemium units who buffs attack of all melee units (for +5%, 2.5 times more than Aria), excluded from game for no reason at all.
Chloe is very important for many strategies. I have AW80 Yurina on DMM, and almost every time I used Chloe or AWed HA instead. Good angel is absolute must for every team, and we were denied both freemium angels.
