Unless Aigis costs them a ton in licensing or whatever, there's no way its shutting down. This game is by far one of the most successful titles on Nutaku. But you probably wouldn't guess that from the 3 people spamming "lulz nutaku literally hitler aigis doomed" over and over.

It will be interesting to see what kinds of improvements, if any, are coming. I'm keeping my expectations somewhat low, though.

I'm sure they realize something's gotta give at this point. The most probable outcomes in my mind are:

A) Nutaku gains the source code and dev control. We probably get weekly events and other cool stuff.

B) Japanese Dev Team allocates more resources to our Aigis; perhaps they are in the middle of a team/staff restructuring thus the past couple weeks. We might get more events and other cool stuff.

For us, A is preferable to B, but I don't think there are many other outcomes that could really happen other than "Aigis is actually doomed" due to some deal falling through or other situation. That they are announcing something and use the words "Event schedule" tells me that doesn't seem likely.

Even if Nutaku Aigis is shutting down, it is good news.

They are putting down the sick and stopping the suffering.

As far as I'm aware from my earlier post I stated, Nutaku's opinion on wanting to keep the game alive won't even matter, it is completely up to DMM.

I wish they'd post some kind of sales/how much money a game is getting kind of ranking, instead of popularity because DT and DS weren't even doing bad (based on ranking) and they're both getting axed.

In all honesty, if Aigis got dropped I'd probably just leave all Nutaku games since I'd no longer have any hope for their future.

Completely agreed, I love Aigis and it's the only one I stay for. I'm doing AS also but I'd quit Nutaku without Aigis.

ditto another game may crop up later but aegis is what you stay for now typically atleast

atleast dmm will be there to touch you in the good place if mwa ever goes the way of the dinos but im in the it will be fine camp

Same. I used to play LoV, AS, and Aigis, tried the other games as they came out but none grabbed my attention for long. I dropped LoV about a month prior to it being killed due to box space issues and AS I stopped playing due to realizing I just wasn't enjoying it and I never got around to doing pvp.

I have bad connection issues with the DMM version as I live in North America and the time that I am playing is the downtime in Japan. I could fix this by staying awake during the night and sleeping during the day to match Japanese time lol.

I'd be mildly irritated if Aigis was dropped since the main started to finally get some decent units on it, but I would stay around on Nutaku for Flower Girl Knight and Shooting Girl. I wouldn't spend money on them though. I do play Angelic Saga, but I wasn't too invested in it in the first place. I mostly just play it to relive my Yu-Gi-Oh! days.

if eng ver runs fine dmm should to but today is there update day so that could be a thing

They expanded on that a bit in the blog, Duel Squad never took off as many other titles did meaning it did badly.
On the other hand DT:M was a popular game on Nutaku and a mid-range success.
The second bit here is interesting though.
When the developers announced they’d be moving onto other projects, we offered to continue to run it and develop content with our own team. Unfortunately, the offer was declined, partly due to the required downtime between our team taking over and the original dev’s planned departure from the project.

Couldn't they just temporarily shut the game down and bring it back when their team is ready to take over if that's the case?

Or am I misunderstanding the meaning of what is said?

I wonder what it mean by "Games's future"? I know that the game UI is gonna change in the jap-ver in a a few months but, will we also get that sooner? This has been one of the things that has been bothering me since it was announce back in May. I doubt that is the reason for the huge delay but it's still there.

On another note, are they never gonna give us so kind of apology for the screw up from last year?? I'm still waiting for one simple "We're sorry that we mess up".
