Has anyone ever asked Nutaku devs why they don't do some kind of limited sales/promotions/discounts on their cash shop currency? EVERY F2P game and MMO out there does that and it usually rakes in tremendous amounts of cash. Or just look at the Steam sales. I mean, in general, slapping a huge, bright, red '50% OFF LIMITED TIME ONLY!!!' on just about anything in business is guaranteed profit... as long as you don't overdo it.
I, for one, as far as resistant I am to spending my hard-earned second-world dosh on something like Aigis, would definitely be more prone to do so if I got an opportunity to 'save' some money.

How exactly are they losing money, if people spend it on gold? I don't get your logic at all here. Nutaku doesn't profit from selling products for gold - they profit from people buying gold. Once you buy gold - they have your money already, they don't care what you spend it on in their shop, be it games or cash shop products in them.Thats quite tricky to work in actually, they'd have to make it so if you bought gold via a aigis sale you could only spend it on aigis otherwise spending it on a normal game and nutaku would lose money there.
I don't know how you reckon this is how Nutaku's business model works, but it sounds way too impractical to be real. Calculating SC purchased in Aigis and sending profits made off them to DMM? Really? Is this a confirmed thing? More likely they have a contract with DMM with their products on a 'lease'. Or maybe they purchased the rights to distribute the IP altogether, which is the less likely version, though you never know with this whole 'taking over' business.Lowering the prices of games is what Steam and Nutaku does, gold itself is too general and tied into what they send the owner.
Imagine each SC bought with gold in Aigis sends 80 cents to devs while nutaku keeps 20 cents themselves, taking 50% off the price of gold would mean sending 50 cents to devs and paying 30 cents out of their own pockets, unless you work something out with the devs beforehand who may or may not hate Nutaku.
You're forgetting, Aigis had the price of SC reduced long ago, so it's basically like it's on sale 24/7.![]()

i think he means they lose money by you buying gold at a lower price via aegis sale but gold elsewhere is the normal price then being able to spend it on something else not on saleHow exactly are they losing money, if people spend it on gold? Unless you have some kind of behind the scenes knowledge and I'm wrong here.
See, this is what I mean. It's possible. And hey, it's 10 bucks. Not 50% exactly, but I could get a fucking pizza for this. A WHOLE PIZZA.And that was only on a small scale; 20 dollars for 3000 Gold, one time purchase only or something.
Well I guess the sales actually DO happen, although very rarely. Hopefully I'll be there the next time.Huh, guess I missed that one. I only remember seeing that kind of deal for the end of the year, which I saved specifically to use to perfect Claudia.

It does not seem very rare. It is exactly one-time thing. Sort of giving back to userbase for all their supportOh okay, maybe I didn't miss one then. Yeah, Gold sales seem pretty rare, so when I saw that one I jumped on it.

I'd have to disagree. He is a man before awakening and after awakening as well. Not interested before, not interested after.
Cornelia on the other hand.. =)
