(Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Well... If I get nothing else out of this event +6 SC's since I barely managed to clear 2 maps when I first started playing the game (which is when the event happened). . . .

Also, I'll admit, I didn't catch the white witch thing as a Cloris event reference... I thought it was a nod to this being a Revival event =P Though, actually... Is there just no explanation for why she wants to murder you? With most of the others there was a least a little denouement. Whether it was just because they were explicitly just testing your skills in the first place, or because they were possessed/blackmailed/w/e, but this one just ends with "I'll use all my powers to destroy you!" Annnnnnnnnd thennnnn...

Well I guess the next "story" event you could get with her after that is her (step?) mother helping you molest her =P Sort of a non-sequitur there really.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

From what Anna says she's the leader of the Witches (I guess? or at least one group of witches) and she wants to beat you to prove her power or just show she's powerful y'know the cliche "I'm super stronk, so I'll fight you to prove it" standard stuff, I guess and because of "muh pride". :V

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I guess she not only wanted to bring the reign of the witches while monsters left human kingdoms in disarray, but also wanted to one-up her mother whom we fought and defeated (and made our lover) in actual first event / our Urgent Mission Drill :p I guess Cloris paid back such impudent intention in full then :D

Also, I'll admit, I didn't catch the white witch thing as a Cloris event reference... I thought it was a nod to this being a Revival event =P
There also another bits... Did you notice "II" in the names of certain maps? They are call-backs to maps of Cloris's event :)

You really are a bad Prince, don't you remember what you did to her mother?? You kick her ass to the curv, this whole event is her daugther claiming good ol' dick kicking revenge!

This is like what happen with Elva's event, we got the revenge/end of the darknigths before they even make their first apparence. But in this case the mother event (Cloris) was turn into the "Drill Missions"

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

To be fair, given your further interactions with her mother... Er... Yeah... Someone being kicked... You know I feel like she might not have actually lost that exchange overall. For some reason. (That reason being, so far as I can tell, that the Prince thinks with his dick, and therefore will let women walk all over him if that's what it takes to bed them. Kind of the lowest common denominator of Cassanovas)

Actually, tangential complaint: What is it with MWA (... And FKG) where most more aggressive female personalities are either hyper insulting doms or secretly masochists? (And, and this is a REALLY odd pattern I've noticed in FKG, if neither of those are exactly true, it's never a full on sex scene. I guess women can only be dominant either as DOMS or if they don't have sex? Like seriously.) Like, I mean, I get that, in theory, their primary "targeted" demographic for the sex sells probably wants the helpless female/teach to love/take virginity/get addicted to you sexually/w/e thing they run for just about everyone, but it's so boring.

MWA is just lucky it's actually a game under the hood =P I swear I skip like 80% of the female affection scenes three lines in.

Also: Huh, I realize I don't know how much use I'm going to have for Belinda here, I kind of already have 2 AW'd witches >_>

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

AW'd Belinda can boost those witches' atk by 7% unless you're not really hurting for power for witches, but every little bit helps.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Only one Belinda dropped in six runs, but I got the mincost with that one.

Guess I'll keep farming for Yuyu/maybe Mehlis if these two 30CC'd copies fail to skill up her.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Lol. The last time i did premium summon got me Liana. Now i got Farne from Premium summon after completing the rest of Belindas map. This won't however change my mind with playing that version more.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

sigh the drops rates sux lol, one so far and that was the 100% ~_~

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Hey guys is the story missions also 1.5x drop rate or is it only the daily missions? Just asking for clarification.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

You do realize that they are explicitly telling you what maps get the drop rate up.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Only dailies. Story missions were two weeks ago.

Got two copies and -2 CR =) Hopefully the last one won't be a problem either...

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Only the daily, the story/AW orb was 2 weeks ago. They again divided it into a two part "event".
------

I knew it! They left the old drop rate, this is the first version of Belinda's revival :/

Oh well, btw did you guys know? FKG is getting their first reprint in a couple of weeks, it didn't took them a year to implement, talking about a well manage game.

During the first revival the drop chance was about 8 %. It was increased a bit later on, but not that significantly, am I right? I have 10 % in my head, but am not sure. I wouldn't expect anything above 25 % though, seeing it cists only 3 Stamina.
Perosnally I got two copies out of six runs (had to 3star two other missions I coudn't 3star back in the days), so I'm doing better than I expected, honestly.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Hooray, Revivals at last! I don't really care about this unit(though I'm still going to get her), but I am pleased to see Revivals, as they're the feature I've been looking forward to the most.

Also, a chance to get some handy Silvers and Sacred Crystals never hurts.

It is supposedly handled by Nutaku after all, of course FKG isn't perfect but it is a bit more sunshine and rainbows than where Aigis is. There's also Osawari, though I don't play it enough to know the goings on, but I heard their treatment is pretty much the same.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

IIRC, Osawari gets its form of revivals in spades, but it has the opposite problem with event frequency in that it throws tons of events at you, where you either have to be lucky to get a booster and/or spend every waking minute of your life to rank, and then prepare to do it all over again as you start the next event in three days time.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

That's why i think nutaku wouldn't be bad at managing Aigis but there other things that i think regarding that matter so least leave it at that...

This event is really unnerving, i had run it in my acc 8 times and only got the guaranteed copy, then i did it in the acc that i'm looking after and that one only gets archers out 6 runs three archers had drop!

Lets hope that this isn't a testament on how this whole week is gonna play out.

--------
Osawari is a luck base game i stop playing a little after its release due the heavy censorship, but even then they had a steady flow of bi-weekly events like the format use in FKG.

**Recently i went to it again and stayed for one event and i got a reminder of why that game is so hard. First it relies to much on luck so if you want to increase your chances you have to pay. That really isn't my cup of tea. Second it requires alot of your time since it has this system in which the players are put in a rank, so if you aren't constantly making points in the event you get kick out of said rank meaning that you'll your chance of getting certain rewards and the event girl.

Lately you don't even get 3 days anymore. This event started as soon as last one ended.

I think you get exactly 24 hours, so technically you are correct lol.

I do mean 24 hours from when that said event ends, so you'll probably be 0 stamina right at the end of the last one so honestly you get like an extra 12-14 hours of grinding at max before a new event. I missed when this one started though, so if you don't even get a day off that is crazy.
