(Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Idk if I like this but I might have to waste some SC's just to farm the silver valks since I need them so I have things to AW for a while.

Rowanna, Karma, Claudia, Themis, Thetis, Horace. Since valks need another valk to CE if I remember correctly that's 12 I need and then any I can horde for future units.... I hope next event also has a decent map to farm them

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Hrm...the luck seemed to have gotten switched around, last time this happened was...Rita, I think or maybe it was Emillia. The Main managed to get the Prime Lucille to -5 CR and 8/10 skill, while the Alt is trudging along at -3 and 6/10. Probably a little foreboding or maybe this was to make up for having Belinda's last CR down to the wire on the Main.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

That's.. nice!

Nutaku should go ahead and implement this new improvement in this current event and all the events afterward.
...If only they could... :p Alas, all in JP devs hands

Hm, from what I heard, DMM side didn't have that 100% drop until quite a few events from where we are, so I won't expect it anytime soon.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Assuming it is a handful of events off and we keep at the current pace, we might get it by the end of Q1 2017!

Or if they decide to be random and give it to us whenever we could get it next event!

The more likely scenario is that like regular Awakening it will be delayed by many months instead.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

So anyway, the most important question...

Anyone got a good afk setup for the last map?

This is what I've got right now, but I don't feel like it's fast enough yet. <.<

I have no idea if it works with normal plat archers though since I don't have any other archers leveled/awakened to test.

Next attempt I'll probably take out a healer and see if Bernice can do it without one.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I use this setup:

If you're not as lazy as I am and actually place Aria and withdraw her after skill useage, you're done at about 16 enemies dead. I assume you could even do it completely without Thetis, by activating Ritas skill after placing the last unit (it will be close though and my Rita's skill is 9/10). I haven't tried it yet, but will do so next time I have the stamina. Edit: Ah, no, you can't. In the video the time seemed to be enough, but I had double speed up all the time and Shuuka's skill (which I activated after placing the last unit as well and lasts longer than Rita's skill) ended before the last wave - where Rita's skill would be important.

I'm super lazy, so maybe I'll just place Aria and let her die, unless I can afk sooner by withdrawing her.

Although my Shuuka and Rita aren't even cced yet, so I might have to make adjustments to my current setup instead.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

She won't die. Place her either above Shuuka or below Prince (before Thetis or her replacement), but you get 5 UP back for withdrawing her, so yes, your setup will be ready earlier if you withdraw her. I'm not sure if placing her, activating her skill and withdrawing her is really woth the 13 UP more though^^

Replace Shuuka with Jerome.
Rita... depends. If you use Thetis or Rowanna, who are immune to paralysis, simply replace her with Nanaly and you'll be fine. If you use a different duelist Nanaly might be fine but I can't guarantee it^^
Charlotte is completely replaceable by almost anything^^

Placement order is Shuuka, Rita, Iris, (Aria), Spica, Prince, Chydis, Thetis, Charlotte btw.

Neither Thetis or Rowanna are AW either. :D

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I just tested it. I used my Imelia instead of Thetis. It worked out fine with my Rita, so your Nanaly should have an easy time doing it^^ Just make sure your duelist of choice has enough HP or def, because damage against paralyzed units is increased. At one point my Imelia dropped down to about 50-60 % health. So that's about 2000 HP lost with about 400 def while being healed by Chydis with an attack of about 780 (in the time frame where Imelia dropped to that point Chydis got about two or three heals out).

Paralysis halves the defence, I think. And stops skills if any is running.

So I finally got to check my original strategy since stamina takes forever, and it seems that mine can get to 16 dead also.

The problem is the extra 9 cost I have though since I need Jeromes skill a 2nd time to finish placement, and withdrawing Aria does nothing to speed it up.

If I swapped Imelia for Bernice, that'd save me 9 cost, but I think she might need a healer since Bernice only lived with about 20% health at the end and Aria was dead.

So, if I implement part of your strategy...

-9 cost for swapping Bernice with Imelia
+19 cost for adding Fedora
-16 cost removing non AW Nanaly

Even if I made these changes, I still think it'd finish at about the same time though since I'm only gaining an extra 6 cost.

The only way I can think of to reduce the cost more, is to use my AW Ada in place of Bernice, but I'm not sure she can survive since she's only 2k health and lower def.

So, I'd either have to keep my Aria top where you have your prince, or I'd have to use her as my duelist at the bottom, since any other duelist would just increase the setup cost even if I removed Aria.

So basically, having max cost healers and Nanalys seems to be the root of the problem. <.<

having max cost Nanalys seems to be the root of the problem.

I Wish I had this kinda problem
P.S. not exact quote I cut out references to other issues that seem legit >.>

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Just happened to pull an Phyllis through 2k gold summon. I instantly used her on my CC'd Phyllis so that she'll cost 10 points to summon. cuz that 1 extra point has been such a huge nuisance for me in a long time.

Hm, the only other thing I can come up with is removing both, Aria and Jerome, after their first skill useage. The only problem is, that there is one invisible ninja that would get by. If you don't care about 3staring this could speed it up a bit. If you do care you could try to replace Jerome with Prince after his first skill and place your Nanaly on the bottom line on a different position. Preferrebly on the spot below Aria (if she survives this... definitely place her as soon as possible so she gets the least possible hits). If that doesn't work place her on Iris' spot and place Iris below her current spot to the left.

And yes, Imelia would die without a healer. Mine is AW max and I'm pretty sure she'd die. I didn't try it, but she lost a lot of her health despite being healed by Chydis. As I said once she lost about 2000 health during two or three heals of Chydis. Effectively that's about 4000 damage alone. Even Imelia with her massive health pool wouldn't survive this in addition to some less intense attacks.

Hmm, I have a couple ideas of something to try out. We'll see in a couple hours if they're genius ideas or mistakes that I will regret. :p

Edit: Said plan resulted in about 8 deaths. Mistakes were made.

6 combines got me max cr and 5/10 skill :)

Do dragon knights get UPs for killing enemies like valkyries? And is Lucille's only role a late-game duelist?

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

No, they don't. And yes, mostly it is.) She can be your supertank and support someone with her Despara-level magic damage in skill, so there's that))

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I'm seriously considering on just giving up on cost reducing this unit at this point...

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Eight Lucilles later, and my Lucille is now 33 UP and 5/10.

I'm kinda wondering if I shouldn't have done that because I could've had eight strong duelists. lol.
