(Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Hmm, would REALLY depend on how good of a lightning rod Sophie is. Also you'd probably want at least 1 cc mage and 1 cc healer.

Well, either that, or the sc buffs would probably make it possible, but those are pretty expensive. :p

she's an amazing lightning rod. but i can't heal her enough. plus for whatever reason no matter how i place her the liches always fucking instagib my ranged peoples first. they supposed to attack her if i place her last but it never works

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Get a CC healer ASAP.

The first CC target for a new player should be an archer and a healer.

I don't care if it's silver or gold. Just get one.

i was working on CCing Iris but then i get told a feng shui chick is better so i detoured and started puttin exp into her.

then i got my shit kicked in trying buried beasts so i leveled katie some more (but that was a mistake)

I'm thinking you want CCed Iris and two normal silver healers to heal her. If possible, having Shiho using skill could provide a bit of extra healing if you're still a bit short. Although you'd probably have to cc Shiho as well in that case for the extra range.

Like i said, you are all over the place, Krill migth be good but she is not for power heal. First you should focus on lvling a core team. You are missing a heavy and a mage (aside from the lvls for all) also a second soldier for UP.

You need to stop relying so much on Sophie, yeah balcks are an ass saviour in every stage of the game, but you don't have enough resourses to make her useful yet. Stop focusing on the rank up and focus on maps that give better fodder to lvl your units. Don't miss mondays daily since is the best way to get gold (you need a mage for that witches help but need a mage to clear the place)

my team 1 is what i deploy to pretty much everything. i have katie and phyllis for UP. leanne is 50+max bond, i know im missing a mage. im not gonna stop focusing on the rank up since it's refilling my charisma twice a day. i can level my units from the dragon hunting rewards easily enough.

thank you for the advice though. im realizing i do need to focus more on my healers

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Sophie is really only strong at higher skill levels. Until you can get her skill close to max skill, I wouldn't consider her black-level.

i dont have any other black units to compare her to, but, she's been the only reason i've passed a big number of stages where the enemies come too early to set up a blocker+healer combo. i put her down, she cuts through shit like wheat, and when the skill wears off i net 20hp/sec regen. 885 atk with the prince out is no joke

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Yeah I've got her too. But at level 1 skill, you only get 15 seconds with a 24 second cooldown. At max skill (10), you get 30 seconds with only 15 second cooldown. And the 20hp/sec is only going to carry you through easy levels. She's cool, but once you get to the intermediate levels, and you have no rainbow fairies or Niels to skill her up... she's not going to be as useful.

20hp/sec is good enough to counter most of damage effects (poison/heat) of even kami-tier maps, letting you place your units w/out having to put healers everywhere. This alone trivializes many G maps.
Plus she has absurd stats so she's great lightning rod, so even with SL1 she's very damn useful in late-game content, especially when you have to deal with nasties like full-power golden demon, bunch of rod-wielding tengus or anything similar with strong one-target ranged attack.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

if i were to use inari who would i even replace for her

Inari works like a monk so Phyllis or Cypria would get replace by her easily or that bronze you have on your team 1

Not sure you know how to use the word "trivialize." Feng shui is better for that. Also, plenty of other units make great lightning rods, and don't have to rely on rainbow fairies to be otherwise useful.

Like I said, she's good. She's just not black-level good until you get her skill up. e.g. the only time she has those absurd stats.

I will send it along to you guys whenever I get the info in advance, usually I learn about new events at the same time as the public!
Nordland, I love you! :D
This helps SOOO much, even with Fran right now!!!

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Feng shui is better for that.
Nope. Fengshui only reduces amount of damage your units take, while angels effectively cancel it out completely by regenning more hp than it reduces.
That's why Niel is primary choice for poison/magma maps now on DMM.

Also, plenty of other units make great lightning rods
Not really. Angels are pretty much unique due to the fact that they don't block. Many end-game nasties will have 2000-3000 ranged attack and 6000+ melee attack, so you need to soak up their ranged attack while not ever engaging them in melee.
First encounter with Golden Demon is best example of this, you'd need some very durable high-MR tank on his way so you would safeguard your ranged units for long enough to kill him, but anything that would try to block him would be one-shotted to death. People who had raised angel solved it with ease, while people who hadn't one had to suffer.

People see angels not doing anything for a while as their downside, while its actually their feature that you just have to learn to use to your advantage.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Talking about busyness now, you're all over the place for what i can see, you need to CC your healers and stop lvl your already CC golds.

To expand on this, CC your stuff then level it to 20-30, then work on CC another unit. Once roughly your whole team is about 50CC30 then go back and raise them higher.

On another note I haven't got mincost Shiho yet but just put 2 copies in her at 3/5 skill and now she's at 5/5. Charlotte is also now sitting pretty at mincost and 9/10 skill AW43.

Well... my 2nd alt once again showed that it has potential to be the best one. 3* Unexplored territory at last.

YEA! Done it!

Not a single swing from you, Demon King!

Is it before or after his shadows show up? If after, how did you get rid of the right one?

It is before. It has to be before b/c otherwise there's no focus fire.

Not true. Most poison maps do 40 damage/sec (2 ticks of 20 every second). The poison is only "halved" by a level 50 sophie at 20hp per second. Even an awakened sophie (36/sec) will not outheal poison.

Thats a REALLY specific case you're arguing for there. And its not a feature that makes angels better than other lightning rods. Just a different case. ("Plenty of other units make great lighning rods." - "Not really"):confused::confused:
