[Nutaku] Taimanin Asagi: Battle Arena

I sent you a friend request dartred! My ign is glt and my id is 52865442. Thanks for providing so much helpful advice, I was initially hesitating to play because the forum didn't seem too active and there wasn't much advice for newbies.

Quick question, Is it better to level up the lower rarity cards (that are still good) first? Because I realised those higher rarity cards take way too much exp and don't give enough of an attack/defense raise (at least not initially). Also, should i save the exp cards for higher rarity cards only?

yeah, max out R and HR first with N card only if you can. you can do the first few levels of UR/LR and even SR's with N cards you get from medal gatcha and quest. save kiryuu's (exp cards) for the final levels of SR and level 15+ of UR/LR's. it get's mad costly the higher the level is. so do big batches of 10 kiryuu's when leveling up SR's and higher.

here if i would use 6 kiryuu's for only 5 level gain, but cost me 7k gold. it's the initial cost that's big, if you put in more cards past the first, you get value. so it's always best to discipline with 10 cards at a time.

just 1 kiryuu cost me 6.4k. not worth.

accepted your friend request. i noticed you had SR taimanin rinko. she is the best taimanin flat booster. you'll have an easy time with early level raid bosses. since your low stats can't be raised very high with % boost. her big flat boost means you can start doing damage at lower level. so long as majority of your team is taimanin.

Thanks for all the help! Started late so I have a lot of catching up to do now :/ I spent the whole of yesterday rerolling till I got LR Asagi, then drew the 20x UR guaranteed and got SR Rinko and UR UFS Rinko (UR Rinko doesn't seem too good, oh well). I was thinking the flat boost is more useful for now thats why I used SR Rinko as my leader.

For those out there looking to reroll, you can skip the tutorial using the banner at the bottom (I spent a good few attempts going through the whole tutorial). If you care about your starter card, you can simply do the tutorial till they make you choose a card, then skip the rest of it. In addition to the 3 tickets they give you for completing the tutorial, you can get 1 more by simply rolling the medal gacha and rare medal gacha once to get another ticket from the 1st challenge rewards. You should also be able to add one of your other accounts as a friend to get 1 more ticket. That means up to 5 tickets per reroll. Also you can skip the reroll animation by clicking the gacha tab, but this only works on PC i believe.

you are right, rinko is better then asagi at this time. if you had a team full of UR/LR with high stats, then %boosters are better. either way, flat boosters are needed regardless. it sucks in the arena having your atk reduced then your % boosters going next and not having much stats to boost off.

edit: hmm, i don't remember dark beast giving out 2x kiryuu's at level 20+. i wonder if that was a thing implemented after i left DMM version and nutaku adopted early or if it's just really been that long and i forgot lol. either way, this is gonna make leveling so much easier. same with speed demon and red oni, they now drop 3 mvp pots instead of 2 for a total of 4 pots at level 30+. i wonder if at lvl 40 or 50 they will drop 4 mvp pots.

Sent a request. Name is RegateRed, ID is 512922329.

Side note, I broke down and did the 20x gacha. Got Saya Neo, some 3* and a bunch of duplicates for my 2*. Some of the 3* weren't too bad. Got this Spider Princess that decreases defense for all types.

Also, for units whose skills are opposed to their stats, like Minasaki, should I keep them for their high stats, or get rid of them since their skills don't exactly match up with their stats?

i would replace minasaki if you can. her high atk but low defense doesn't do you much good if she's in your defense deck. her skill activates in the attacking phase so you're not getting any benefit. the only reason to keep is is if you don't have any other demons in a full demon deck. that way at least she is gaining boost from you other cards.

accepted your request.

Sent requests to everyone who posted their ID here. My IGN is the same as here on the forum. I must warn you guys that I didn't spend any time rerolling so my lead is the freebie Yukikaze if you don't mind that.

so i was gonna remove a guy on my list who seem to have stopped playing (last login 2 days ago, pretty long for a game that JUST came out).

is this a trick question lol.

What do you guys do with the R and HR cards you don't want? Sell them for rare medals or use them for exp?

EDIT:
The game thinks your crazy for trying to remove him as a friend.

I'm maxing them all for the lewds, to me this game is about collecting.

always sell for medals, never exp. don't underestimate a lucky gatcha and roll an SR. the taimanin and demon SR's a fantastic, especially demon ingrid. sadly USF SR's are all bad right now. even Their LR is a defense oriented card, but it is a really good one.

this too, max out for the H-scene and then trade for medal. your album will have it permanently unlocked.

Been kind of enjoying it so far, just reached level 30 and the end of the free stamina. My main gripe is that the interface seems to be rather clunky. Does anyone know if there are any quicker ways to refresh the raid boss screen other than going into sub menu and clicking it there? Also does the game give you any notification of when you've been called for aid for a raid boss? It's been a while since it closed down but the old Dragon tactics: memories game seemed to have a much slicker system for basically the same thing.

Will sell for medals then.

Most of the cards I'm thinking of getting rid of I don't like the design anyway. Will keep the few of these I like.

not really to both questions. if you don't have your own raid, if you see the raid button on the home screen or the chapter select screen, that means you've been requested to aid.

as for fast refreshes the raid list, i do this.

click on a raid boss, then click on the bottom left back button to go back to the list, then click on any boss and repeat. that seems to have the fastest transition time.

for those of you who reach lvl 30 and now have to spend stamina. you can continue quest to collect scroll reward gatcha tickets, but then you should only farm chapter 2 stage 5. it cost 3 stamina and gives 4 exp. it's the best ratio available and give you the most value when using pots to farm raid bosses.

on a side note, speed demon gives 5 pots now at level 40. that's some value right there.

Fair enough. One other question. Does having friends in game give you any advantage other than being able to use them for support attacks more regularly. I think you said earlier friends don't get priority on bosses unlike other similar games.

yes, when you go to fight a raid boss, your friends skill will activate 100% of the time compared to 50% chance the side cards of your atk deck or an assisst chosen from the general pool. so it may be mean, but choose friends that sync with your deck.

How much BP do you usually spend per boss? Currently need to use the x3 hit to take them down, not sure if it's worth it.

For bosses up to level 20 a 2 BP attack usually does 50% damage for the MVP for me. I just have a fully maxed team of demon 3 stars for around 18,000 base attack though, no high rarity cards so I'm sure many others can take them down more efficiently.

Higher level bosses I know I've got no hope at the mvp so just use one BP for the small rewards if I have one spare.

it depends on my cards proc rate, if i can get all skills to proc, i can mvp speed demon with just 2 BP barely. if say half proc, i can mvp with 3 bp.

it's alright to use 3 bp if your cards are not that level'd yet. so long as it was natural refill. just don't use refill pots to do it if it's not for red oni and not if you use 3 pots to refill it or you didn't get anything out of it. only red oni is worth refilling with pots if you can make a profit of at least 1 pot.

if i don't have any bp, i play a round of league and usually have 2 bp waiting for me when i get back.\

first event is in 10 hours. i'm excited. my recommendation is for all of you guys to get the SR ticket and then call it quits. reward unit is not a high demand card and you should be saving stamina pots for better events.

Oh I've been doing the weekly quest, so I've been defeating all my bosses myself. Is the weekly quests not worth doing? Could save myself some BP just getting the MVP, but not sure what you get for completing all the quests.

Also excited for the event. Starts just before work so will have to wait until I get back to see what it is like.
