is there a walkthrough? for this i wanna try the corruption path then the non corruption patch and sometimes the options that are given to you doesnt have color like red for cp points and green for good points or whatever

Not walkthrough as of yet, I didn't really think it required one. Yeah, if it's Yellow then it's neutral meaning the event won't effect your Morale.

Haven't touched this since the old version, and i must say i'm disappointed in the tone shift.

In the new version the men are way nicer to chloe, and she seems to enjoy herself. Especially the sheriff has become such a "nice guy" compared to the misogynistic douchebag of the old version. Chloe felt a lot more conflicted about her choices in the old one too, she seemed repulsed most of the time, fighting against her traumatic past, trying to strengthen her resolve while having to deal with a corrupted working environment. She had character, the will to overcome her weakness made her struggle more real and relatable. Now, she's just a slut, she weekly deny it for sure, but i can't believe for a second that's not what she wants to be.

An example is the spanking scene.
The pussyfied Sheriff is like "Oh jeeze la weeze, you broke the rules dear. I have no choice, please believe me, but this is what i have to do for the sake of fairness, i def tots don't want to do this but you force me to. So sorry!" and i can't help but hear this beta male voice, cause i'm comparing it to the old version, which was direct and offensive righteous fury. The tone backlash gave me back pains.
Chloe is like "Oh my, this is so wrong, it kinda hurts, boo hoo.", she doesn't seem too upset about it, and if that's not what you wanted to express, well that's what i got from those couple generic lines of inner monolog, a generic "Meh!".

To be clear, i don't hate the new version, the core concept is still there and the writing is still fine enough to make this rise above the average. But the old version had more interesting characters, direct and self righteous bastards are something that is extremely rare in rpgm games for some reason. A true Alpha male, hedonistic and egotistic, someone convinced to the core he can do whatever he wants without any possible negative repercussion, someone who owns the place and owns you, someone you fucking love to hate.
I kinda saw that in the old sheriff, but the new sheriff looks more like a sniveling schemer too scared to go all out in comparison.

That's what i see at least, hope you get back some of that uniqueness as you move along, but even if you don't it's still a fine product i guess. I just hope you didn't do this for the sake of realism, because reality is not fun.

Firstly, thanks for taking the time to write this out .

I know what you're saying about everybody being much nicer in this version, but that's just how people would be in my opinion. They will change from being nice people in the future as the town itself realise that Chloe doesn't deserve the respect a Police Officer should receive, but should instead receive the respect given to any usual whore. This is where the shift will happen. I decided if I had made it like that in the beginning like before, then there would be no shift of tone or dialogue in the future.

As for the Sheriff, yeah. I've changed him completely, he's not an asshole anymore, but yet again, those kind of things will change. Another thing is before I was focusing more on the Police Work and that area, but this is only going to take up a third of the game. So I shifted my focus to where I'm at now, where she's undercover. This is where you will only meet sadistic fucks that get pleasure of treating Chloe like shit really.

You said you want an Alpha-Male, well you haven't met him yet. He will be in the other 2/3 of the game, so don't count that out. You'll still get to see an arrogant, self-righteous ass. Just try not to focus on the Sheriff, because he isn't what I see as a lead character In this game.

Lastly, the realism comment. You're right, reality does suck, but I'm not going to make a game which is just absurd, full of people who rape and fuck what they want and get away with it. I did that before and hated it. It's what prompted the change to begin with. I'm aiming for something on the borderline of reality, so if that's not your thing then so be it. All i'm saying is don't write me off yet, due to the fact that it hasn't got what you want In it, because all the things you want are already coming .

To give you a different opinion than Nimrod, i like the new version better, maybe i don't have any sadistic fantasies, maybe i'm over-analysing it.

Anyway, the whole situation at the police office was really weird, i really like the other female character addition which might lead to some competition (or not, i'm not in your mind ) and i feel like the player choices might lead toward a nicer route or another one where the main character is totally dominated, which is better since we didn't have any choice in the previous version.

The storyline was greatly improved as well as the quests (crimes scenes, meetings, interrogation room, etc. )

So, to my opinion it's all for the best.

In porn the term is used in its extreme - generally referring to a dominant character, more or less what Nimrod wrote.
Just write alpha male in Amazon's erotic section and you'll be bombarded by "books" for men who hurt and rape women who love them for it.

And by "rare" you mean 95% of the adult rpg titles?
Because I can barely think of an adult game where the female character is not abused left and right by "interesting" characters driven by nothing else but hedonism.

I was thinking more about Chloe as interesting, she felt more of a struggler, but thinking about it, the old sheriff was a more challenging opponent then the current one, which in turn may affect the main character attitude i suppose.
Must admit there's not much content for a proper character analysis, it's more of a gut feeling.

So.... has anyone found the cucumber scene?

Wondering how much we will be able to protect Chloe from bad stuff once she enters the sex-traffic building. As a player you where forced to flash Daryl, would be awesome if in future updates we could avoid things like that through gameplay (like finding others means towards information, solving puzzles etc). Kinda like how 'the Rat' works. That might be a bit too much to ask though.

This game branches soo much (seamingly) and there are lots of choices ...

It is realy somewhat a turn down.

i love a lot of choices, but with the morality points and timed events, its kinda hard to get all the scenes in one play thru before the game ends. once you have enough morality for one event, time passes and youve missed the chance for the other event. its almost too frustrating to play again and again until youve found all the scenes.

Unbelievable that there are people here who are literally so spoiled they can complain about "too many options". Get over it...either play your file the way you want to play Chloe or play through it however many times to see everything. Pick your own style, but don't whine about one of them <_<

I would only change morality requirement for confession. She should be able to go there with 0 morality to either boost her morality up or further decrease it.
Everything else is ok, i don't have complaints. Choices are great and getting all the scenes is easy once you know how everything works, i don't see a problem there. Even if you need to play it twice or 3 times, still great to me, i like the ability to choose lots of different paths Just my opinion, it's up to Key' to see what's good or bad

The demo was dreadfully boring.
Cops were a laugh.
And timed events? i hate those.
I guess if i ever am going to try this one again i'm going to hack the corruption value, set it to 9999, and call it a day.
