Re: [SLG] Jack-o-nine-tails
Thoughts & Facts
(agreeing with the last posts when not stating the contrary)
- Herm... Rank is nearly all that matters, Charm (a really complex stat) can up a bit the price but that's all (about 20% at most I think). A S+ should value around 10k when sold.
- Devotion is not given by good mood, it's gained by having other Obedience stats ("rational"/awareness, "instinct"/taming and "custom"/habit, but NOT fear) WHEN in good mood. She has to have a higher of one of those three than her current devotion AND be in good mood. And then it still takes time.
Obedience is still the key.
- Boudoir and Master's Bed spoil slaves (+1).
Bed ups mood with current devotion, decreases mood with pride, and gives +1 energy.
Boudoir increases mood with sensitivity, give "good sleep" buff if sensitivity > 0, and energy +1
- Seems the "slow way", the good mood way, has a lot of defenders, but other items have other effects too and can be useful in other ways (quicker and less expensive). Fear rushing can give a head on Obedience for the first few days.
Slave items give Obedience growths on themselves (each collar, bdsm or animalia items are different). Ornamented collar has no ill effect.
Spiked collar and ponygirl items give temper and slash pride. Animalia items all up 2 or 4 of the pet skills on themselves. Boutique items often up common skills on themselves.
No item has no use at all. In some cases one is strictly better than an other, you can often see on of the two is far cheaper -> it's the lesser one. Example: Wedding Dress is a buffed variant of the Safran, better in all aspects, but buffing the three same stats.
You can guess the effects by reading the description "literally", as a rule of thumb. Every sentence has a meaning. If it says it's used in martial arts, in give +1 in gladiatrix rate each day.
- How do "slow mood way" people take care of Pride, Obedience fixed mali or high Ego + Temper slaves ? If you only count on slow custom/habit gain, it must take dozen of DECADES to train a slave, especially a S+ one. No kidding you need to live on poor conditions.
- Living conditions impacts fame, brand, and utherly selling prices. I don't think you can beat the game and become patrician without spending more, it's needed to have Reputation, and the master mood's hit goes larger with the gap between Living and Brand.
- Master good mood speeds up nearly everything.
- Master Rule has a lot of benefits, a lot more if your Supremacy is far stronger than your slave's (which also is impacted by Living Conditions, and nearly all the master stats). And no downsides, IF FOLLOWED. (the pride lowering is mainly a good thing, excepts when the slave is near broken at the beginning, and then it's a bad slave to have at all).
Alarm Rule and the two "Extreme" Rules only get hygiene hits. The extreme ones also give hidden perv xp points, when enough reached, your slave will not be impacted by degrading things so heavily.
- Reminder: Forum artefacts all give Supremacy. So does main master stats, but they are really hard to buff up.
- All other rules have upsides and downsides. Mainly downsides if not followed. The costly strange apparels in the Steel Rose are to enforce the Rules no matter what, except the beads, which are handy.
Silence ups a lot of things by being followed or not, but it downs Temper, beware. Can be countered with items.
Pet ups a lot of things too, but kills Ego. Need to compensate too.
Both can be useful for low rate slaves that won't need C or more ratings but BEWARE the broken state, at Sanity 3-.
- As stated in the tutorial, Fear is far more effective in the Obedience checks (checked twice) but if your slave Devotion is higher than her fear, fear will shrunk. It's an intentional "beginning of training" stat. Fear also doesn't up Devotion.
- Fear and Devotion both slash Spoil.
- Slave's Fame crushes any other limitations. She'll always be ranked as high as her fame, or more. Isabella can be S+, you just have to win enough races and battle house champions when she's arena champion.
PS: Why on earth would you kind slavers SELL ISABELLA ?!
You Monsters.
