"Fine by me. I'm sure that Serp would find some way to let us know if he had any need of us, so no real reason to head back after only three stories, eh?" Isa said, trusting that Deva knew what she was doing, and that she had found some way to handle mind reading and mind manipulation. Though what that was, she still had no real clue, so it was just another thing that she'd have to have some faith on, and so far Deva had done nothing to ruin her faith, so that wasn't too much of an issue for her.

The Ice Mage would roll her eyes a bit at the little rhyme that Deva had made about the village name, but otherwise wouldn't comment on it, already getting used to her rather... unique sense of humor.

Though she would bounce a little bit when Deva mentioned that everyone was made of goo, looking even more excited by that prospect. Basically doing as best she could to look like the biggest fan of slime girls in the entire world. "All of them?! Oh my Goddess that's amazing! Are they all as awesome as she is?" The slime girl would blink a few more times in confusion, it wasn't every day that you ran into something that you thought was completely impossible not even a few minutes ago. "Err... Uhhh... Hi Deva... I'm uh... I'm Limona... This is some sort of dream, right? I'm just imagining that it's possible for living creatures to be made of solid stuff... right?" Meanwhile, the Ice Mage would just be looking at her with wide eyes, starting to look away now as though she was trying to be polite and not stare, but failing spectacularly out of her own desire to see her. "Well... Yes I'm quite gooey... You're looking rather solid... And uh... solid." To be fair, it seemed that Limona was having the exact same problem, trying not to stare at the solid people right in front of her. The only solid living things she had ever seen were plants, other than that everything was goo, her pets were gooey, her friends were gooey, it was just the way that things were.

"My clothes? They're just a part of me... I use them for decoration, like everyone does really. You just sort of focus on shaping your outside to look prettier and it looks however you really wanted it..." She answered, sounding a little hesitant, though inwardly feeling really flattered by all this interest in her. "So... You two are from a completely different world? A world full of solid people? Geez... If I take this back to the town I'm gonna be seen as an insane person. No one's gonna believe that living things can be solid unless they saw you..." That made her think a bit more, because at this point it was as if she had never seen solid people anyway. If she told anyone they wouldn't believe her, and if that was the case then it wouldn't really matter that it had actually happened. "BlackGoo Cave is fine. I think they're building a spa down there. You're thinking of BlackSlime Cave, which the mayor has sealed off for the sake of keeping us safe. She's sealed it off with some magic because apparently something dangerous moved in there. Other than that I'm not sure what's going on in BlackSlime Cave, so you'd either have to get permission to head in or find someone that actually knows about all of this." She'd 'shrug' which was really a small wave moving from one shoulder to the other. "BlueGoo is fine, I think. Nothing seemed all that wrong when I decided to head out at least." When the pillow was offered, she'd reach out and take it, sliding it into her body with ease, sort of just... keeping it there, like a pocket that she had in her own body. And just to play it up, Isa would 'ooh' and 'ahh' at the display, wondering why a slime would need a pillow.

"Perhaps she was thinking about... How ungooey certain plants are and how cool it would be if she could even goo those up a little and make them more like her? I dunno... What kind of things to Goo peopl think about?" "Actually I was thinking about how to properly get Mulj's attention back at the forest. She seemed a little more distant than usual, and probably likes Kalka because she's even more liquidy than me..." She explained, giving a glimpse into her life, and the current drama that she was having. "So what kind of things do solid people think about? Geez this is weird... Oooh! Do you think that at some point you could come with me to see Mulj? I'm sure that she'd be super impressed to hear that I discovered solid people!"

This time, Limona's eyes would widen when she saw Deva poke Isa's boob, still having expected her finger to just sink in despite having already established that they were both completely solid. "So like... does that mean I could hide inside one of you like I could a hollow tree? Since you're both completely solid? Not that I would... not unless you were ok with it... But wow... Solid people... who would've thought? Do you have solid animals where you come from? Oh! Are your plants the opposite of you too? Do you have goo plants?" It seems that her own curiosity was getting to her as well, figuring that this might be her only chance to learn more and more about the solid people. "Is my face droopy? Oh... Awww... I had hoped to hold my face up a bit better when I prepared it this morning... Huh... I'm gonna have to try and fix that when I get back I suppose." And just like that she seemed more deflated than anything, apparently not wanting her face to be too droopy, most likely because she was trying to impress some other slime woman back at her village.

"Lets pretend this is all a nice, fun dream and you'll just wander on in the dream, do your stuff, go to bed, then what would you say and do?" Deva whistled innocently. "Well, not quite insane, not if you were to take us along with to the town as well!" Deva enthused.

"I think theres a spell or two to turn myself non-solid if that helps." Deva tilted her head. "Ooh dangerous goo. We are all about dangerous goo, right plucky assistant? ... err slime, sorry if thats racist by the by, confusing those two.." She tipped her chin, curiously observing the wiggling motion from shoulder to shoulder, this was kinda fascinating, she even pulled her glasses up at the goo people.

"Geesh, go everything up to be all gooey? You watched too much bad goo-fiction... somewhere." Deva mused. Indeed, the Dark queen would likely enjoy nabbing this world. "Hrmnn.. I guess we can go sneak about with you to see this Mulj woman, if in exchange, rather.. than .. exchange goo, you lead us to the dark and dangerous black and viscose place, wouldn't do to have the entire village have this whole explanation, but a few sample goos would do fine.

Also, yes, you could hide in one of us, our bodies are, actually, more liquid than solid still, we just shifted a few percentages around is all, though hiding your entire mass would be hard, I guess a stout female could manage though."
Deva tipped her chin.

Deva chuckled. "Nope, plant life is the same as on this planet, largely. The world I come from does have oozes, though they are more or less like plants, just.. oozing about, nomming on whatever you throw in their way." She left out the whole acidic and demon lord for one of them bits. "Prepared your f.. err.. not droopy at all, looks fine to me, Isa?" of course, if the goo-girl was a smart one, she'd realize Deva had no frame of reference, so to her she could be the most ugly, or beautiful goo in the world and the angel wouldn't be able to tell, however.. Deva was an excellent lier.

"Don't get self conscious just because of your unsolidness around solid people, thats a game you can't win. Trust me, I've met folks with wings three times their bodysize... Sure, you may be a bit droopy, but none of us can flow so pleasantly, or have quite such a wettened complexion." She did hope those were compliments, whilest she moved to pat the goo-girl on the back, with a slight splashing noise. "Come on, gotta pluck the goo-fruit while its ripe, fun fact, theres no one that spents more time worrying about how you look in the whole wide world than you, no matter what world you are on, so take a break from it for a change, eh? I'm sure my happy assistant would be glad to see more gooeys, and not try to stare too much for it." Deva suggested, gently nudging the slimegirl along.

"I'm pretty sure this isn't a dream... I normally just dream about little Puppies and stuff... Not solid people like you." Limona explained, figuring that she wasn't even imaginative enough to come up with something as crazy as solid people. She hadn't even seen something like that in any of her favorite books, so this wasn't even something that she had any sort of point of reference for. "Well yeah, if you two were up for coming with me to the village then people would believe that I had met solid people like you. Though we might wanna warn the kids in the village to stay in for a bit because they'd probably get really scared."

"Hmmm? What's 'racist'? Is that some kind of solid people magic or something? Goo and Slime are the same thing, we just use different names for different places. BlackGoo Cave is very different from BlackSlime Cave. Same as BlueOoze Village and BlueGoo Village are completely different villages. Though I think I have a friend living close to BlueOoze... But anyway, that's not all too important." And that naming scheme wasn't confusing to her at all, it was just something that they did to give names to all of their landmarks, a color and then some type of synonym for slime. Though she would actually shy away just a little bit when Deva got closer for examination, not liking people examining her that close, especially when they were solid people that until right now she had thought hadn't existed ever at all.

But her eyes would light up when Deva agreed that she could take them to see Mulj, her whole body mass wiggling a bit in excitement and delight now that she was allowed to do something like that. "Sure thing! If what you mean is getting into the cave, then I'm sure I can convince the mayor to let you both in! Otherwise I'm sure that I can help you with whatever you want. Just gotta see Mulj first! Thank you! Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou~!" Well it was at least clear that the slime really liked this 'Mulj' woman, and was more than ready to help the two of them with whatever they want now that they were agreeing to help her with that thing. She'd suddenly hug Deva, leaving her clothes a bit sticky, and then do the same for Isa, leaving them both with a thin coating of slime on their clothes now. Though it would sort of just flow off of them in rather quickly, leaving their clothes exactly how they were before that hug.

"Huh? Oh of course! I think she looks like the most beautiful person I've ever seen! Awesome Goo hair, a pretty goo face, and an amazing personality!" That would seem to bring Limona back, making the slime around her face look a bit pinker as she blushed from all the kindness. Plus Deva's skill at lying would take her in without any problem, as she was someone that was very self conscious about the way that she looked, that also meant that she felt really good when people told her that she looked pretty. "Awww... You're both so sweet... Thank you so much. I'll try to remember that kind of stuff from now on. I'm always kind of tough on myself, especially when there are prettier people around. Though you're right, maybe it's best to try and be more confident... I heard that people like confidence, and they think that's attractive and all that. Alright! I'm gonna do it! I'm a pretty person and I can be confident! Yeah!" She'd say, standing up a little straighter, which was odd considering that her body was completely made of goo rather than a spine and all that important stuff like that.

And with that, she'd lead the way for them, heading back down the path that she had just come from towards BlueGoo village, sliding... quite slowly down that path. Though as they continued to move, she'd start to pick up speed a little until she reached a normal 'walking' pace with them. It wouldn't take much time before they reached a small little village, looking actually very similar to any regular human village. There were a few slime looking people of different colors and sizes oozing around the village, not seeming to notice the two of them since they would be a good distance off by the time that they saw the village. Many of them would seem to be wrapped up in conversation. Limona would look at them before they got too close and speak up again. "Alright, so Mulj's house is right over there a bit past the market square." She'd point to a rather quaint looking home with a pink roof, which would be a little bit in the center of the village, but would be rather simple to sneak over to. "And over there is the Town Hall, where Mayor Slem usually sticks around almost all day. We can go to whichever you want to go first, as long as you promise that you'll come with me to see Mulj! She'll be so impressed! I can't wait to tell her that I found solid people!"

"Interesting. Why puppies.. wait, wrong mystery. Most likely." Deva tilted her head. "I'm usually kid friendly but fine, warn them." Deva pouted for a moment. "Right, so what about Jelly? Slime? Sludge?" Deva mused at goo-nomenclature. Sure if you had only colors and kinds to work with... she actually picked up on new things exeptionally quick. That was really her only power, she'd claim, not being too confused either.. but.. she was bad with names already without this added nomenclature. She'd have to use the books guidance, or ask 'to be shown that bad place thingie'

"Great, getting into the cave. For touristing reasons. Why not see some dangerous stuff too." Deva enthused, crossing her arms behind her back, shrugsmiling at the thankful ooze. "Interesting." She mused at the sticky ooze-hug, adding: "Do you oozes stick to every surface like that, or are there exeptions?" She also added, with a subtle charm: "How do you know they are prettier. Perhaps they think you are prettier. I was the same for a long while,.. whats your name actually?.. Anyway, for a long time, I believed I was stupid, because no one would get the way I was talking or thinking about things. Want to know what happened?" Deva chuckled.

"I realized the opposite was true, from a racers perspective, it wasn't that everyone was ahead of me, it was that I had already started a second lapse while they were on their first. Confident helps, though, silly as it sounds, just be you, thats easier than acting all your life." Devas smile froze just for a second or two at the last part.

Deva was happy taking her time, wandering by the side of the googirl and, subtly, observing the coating-uncoating process of the walkway below the googirl, tapping her fingers against her leg to help her count the seconds.

"Lets go to Mulj first. Also! Another request. I need plushies. Nothing important, but at least four, can be all gooey." Deva seemed oddly serious at the request. "Think about it, if you have never seen solid-people, I have never seen goo-people, so, I want to prove I came here as much as you, plus I bet Isa would love souvenier. Oh, also do you have mirrors? Sorry for all the requests, we'll be good findings I assure you." She quickly glossed over, hesitating for just a moment, lookin at her hands. "Look at me, Isa, asking for plushies. Guess I decided to take this one serious." There was a soft, thoughtful shaking of her head, before she took another step, smiling at the goo-girl.

"Alright! Stealhily through the village, you take the lead or introduce us. If someone sees us, no matter, they wont believe their eyes if its just for a moment, people like to lie to themselfs like that. Oh and.. go get Mulj, you'll be amazing. The see-throughish Kimono thing is great. Unless thats just how you lot dress.. which would also be kinky, really."

"Because puppies are cute and loving. And I like adorable things like them!" Limona would answer with a nod, smiling as she imagined a whole bunch of puppies cuddling with her. "All of those are words that could totally work. We also go with Glop and Gunk if we need to. Though colors are way easier to go to because there's a bajillion of those to work with." She explained, finding the need to so really odd considering that everyone sort of just understood that in her world. Then again, she was talking to solid people that probably came from some weird solid people world that worked completely different. Part of her wanted to ask more about that, but it wasn't all that important to her, and as curious as she was, she had other things that she needed to focus on. "Personally I wonder what we're gonna do once we eventually run out of colors. Maybe we'll be like 'New BlueGoo' or something like that." She'd do that strange shrugging movement again, a small wave going through her shoulders as she did so. "Well I'm kid friendly too. But I'm sure that solid kids would be creeped out or even frightened by me, right?"

"No, we don't stick to everything. There's not a lot that we don't stick to though. Mostly rubber, that stuff just doesn't stick with us at all. That makes it really useful though, cause we can use it for things that we don't want to stick to, or for a whole bunch of other stuff that I've never seen since it's over in the city right now." Rubber was relatively new to them, so not everyone understood everything about it, only that they didn't completely stick to anything made of it. There were rumors that things were being made in the major cities that might make even better use of that rubber, like armor and other interesting things. "I told you that my name is Limona, didn't I? Sometimes I forget to do that, you two being all solid really surprised me. The others just... look prettier than me when I see them. Their faces stay together a little better, their forms are a little sleeker, and other people always seem way more interested in trying to date them than they are in trying to be romantic with me." She explained, still listening to Deva's advice. It wasn't every day that you met a solid person, so it was probably a good idea to carefully listen to whatever she had to say. "Yeah! I'll be me! I wouldn't be happy trying to be anything else, right? You're so confident... and smart... that's amazing. I'll try to remember that, Ms. Solid Deva! I'll be Limona... and proud of it too!" She'd say, encouraging herself and trying to pump herself up so that she could do better at just being herself.

"You need plushies? Oooh! I know! I've got a huge collection at my home! We'll stop by there since it's on the way to Mulj's house. I've got a bunch of duplicates of certain ones, and I wouldn't mind giving a few to a new friend! And yes we have mirrors, we still gotta look at ourselves and see how we look and all that. I think I've got one that you can carry with you if that's what you need." She'd answer while she continued sliding down the pathway. The trail of slime would start to recede after about 10 seconds, actually sliding down the trail that she had built right back into her body mass, bringing the slime back to her once she got far enough away. Isa would smile a bit when Deva mentioned that plushies meant that she was taking things seriously, not sure if she was being completely serious with that statement alone. But from what the ice mage had already seen, she could believe that such an odd request meant that things were going to get interesting as time went forward. Either way, thinking that over just made her a little more confident that they'd be able to stop the Cloaked Woman, as she was with a clever person that seemed to accomplish things Isa would never dream of.

"Alright! First let's just make a stop by my house really quick so I can get you some plushies! Follow me! Oh, and not everyone wears the same kind of thing that I do. I just really like the look of my clothes and I thought that it might help me look a little nicer!" With that she'd move through a few backroads and alleys, avoiding the very populated paths and market place, knowing how to guide them through in a way that would keep them from being noticed. Actually... with how good she was at this, Deva might realize that Limona had a lot of experience trying not to be seen by others. She knew all the paths because she walked them all the time, hoping not to run into others, and now could easily guide them down these paths to avoid causing a major incident. They'd eventually stop in front of a small looking home with a dark blue door, which Limona would open and gesture for them to follow inside. The place was a little small, but seemed more cozy than compressed, giving the two of them a bit of room while Limona went into her bed room, which had a deep, cushioned pool rather than a flat bed. Littered around the house, were tiny adorable plushies, all of slime looking animals and other slime related things. Eventually she'd come back and hand Deva four kitten slime plushies, all of different colors, and all just as soft as the ones from other stories. She'd hand them over as well as a hand mirror, which was the best that she'd be able to get in her home. "I hope that these four are good enough for what you wanted. They're super cute, and soft, but I've got like 3 copies of those ones so I can give them to you."

LzfDhqom.png

"Alright then, time for us to head out to see Mulj and I can show her the cool thing that I found!" Her whole face would light up while talking about Mulj, still super excited that she had something that she could show her. "She's been my friend for years and years at this point! And she's super sweet, and kind, and pretty, and really understanding and smart! She was gone for about a week to visit her family a while ago. Now she's back, and I'm super excited to finally get to see her again!" Limona spoke excitedly as they began walking towards Mulj's house, showing how far her affection went for her best friend, and her excitement just towards being able to see her again. Though once again she'd carefully bring them through routes that involved not being seen, as her own lack of confidence generally led to her staying away from other people that she thought were much prettier than she was. Eventually they'd make it to the house that she had pointed out earlier. She'd head right up to the front door and make her hand a little more solid than usual, knocking on the door a few times. "Coming. Give me a minute." They'd hear from inside, and Limona would stand on the spot, growing more excited by the second. And after just a few moments, the door would open to reveal a pink slime girl.

pt1I3jhm.png

The woman had more of an orange slime hair, with her pink slime body. Her clothes were a completely different color to her body. Her face looked like it was rather cute... if it wasn't in a bored and slightly annoyed expression. Before she could even say anything, Limona would start talking, a bit fast considering that seeing Mulj had suddenly made her very nervous. "Hi Mulj! So I was walking outside the village again just to think for a bit, and I ran into something super cool that I bet no one has ever seen before! And when I met them I thought that you liked adventures and seeing new stuff so I brought them back here so you could see them and see just how cool they are! Look! It'll be awesome!" Then she'd step to the side to give Mulj a clear look at the two of them, completely solid people that Limona had run into. Mulj's eyes would widen in surprise at seeing the two of them, two people that weren't slime in any way. She'd look them over for a few moments, her face shifting to one of surprise before slowly fading back into her previously bored, tired, and even annoyed expression and looking at Limona. "Is that it? Limona, you called me out here for that? Quit wasting my time..."

The blue slime girl's expression would suddenly drop, her smile completely falling from her face as she heard that, and if Deva looked she could tell that she was trying to hold back tears. "Wha...? B-But I just wanted to-" "I don't care what you wanted to do! I just want to be left alone. I don't care what you found, I don't care what you were doing out of the village. Leave me the Hell alone! Get out of here, now!" "But-" "NOW!" And before the blue slime girl could say anything further, the door would be slammed in her face, leaving her standing there, on the verge of tears. If Deva's comment about her being 'droopy' had deflated her, this whole thing had sucked every bit of wind out of her. She'd just sort of stand there for a bit, and Deva would notice that her body seemed to be running a lot more than it had been a few moments ago, as though she was melting right where she stood. She'd turn, and Deva would see that her face was much more 'droopy' now, and her expression showed that she was devastated by what she had just heard.

She'd slide over to Deva and Isa, moving from devastated to simply emotionless as she spoke up, every bit of enthusiasm gone from her voice. "Let's... Let's go see that mayor... A promise is a promise and all... Thanks for coming along..." She'd start sliding along the ground back the way they came, not even turning to look at the building, or even checking if the two of them were following her.

"Good answer. If you like puppies. Suprised you don't call them goo puppies. Goopies. Interesting, is bajilion an estimate or can you see more colors than us? Does my dress look white to you?" It was pure white of course, no hidden coloring. "Kids are unpredictable, they might want to hug you and keep you or be a bit scared." Deva shrugged, answering to the best of her knowledge.

"Rubber hmn.." Deva filed that information away for later. "Oh, right, Limona, sorry, see, I'm really not good with names, anything above four letters is complicated if you ask me. Why aren't you named after your color then though?" She tipped her chin.

"Anyway, I read about these things about thinking other people are better at whatever, its something about being more critical of oneself, though at the same time we lie to us about ourselfs, interesting stuff, bit complicated. Did you know that all your memories are stories you tell yourself? when you remember something, you actually only think back to the last time you remembered it, thats why memories can fade out or distort over time." She explained, getting a big smile when Limona seemed encouraged and grateful about her. If all stories could be fixed by a bit of goo-girl relationship advice, she'd have an easy task.

"If you wonder, the trick to being confident is simply assuming you're going to succeed. You can deal with a miscalculation in that assumption after it happened, but you can only succeed if you have a clear path towards that first, everything else is secondary." She briefly nodded to Isa as well, this was after all her strategy in conflict as well, if summarized.

"Thanks, you're really helpful, you'll do fine." Deva nodded, leaning to Isa for a moment. "if we happen fight a goo-creature and it happens to shoot some attack at us it'd be lovely if you could focus on freezing the first attack in swift defense." She nodded. Well that seemed,.. self explanatory, didn't it?

"I figure there are goo-women that come up with certain dress styles?" She mused, wondering who started it all in a society with only modesty requiering a need for a dress at all. Deva, meanwhile, having grown accustomed to walk in two ways, one if she wanted to be seen and one if she ... not necessarily wanted to hide, but wanted to blend into the backround, would note Limones aptitude, herself seeming somehow less imposing and just an ordinary traveler.. nothing that would hide her on this world, but a reflex, trained over years of wandering darker streets armed with a broom and the pretension of being nothing but a harmless city-cleaner, lowest of the low, beneath notice.

"Thanks, you're a nice person." Deva restated, if only after seeing the slime-girls shyness, hugging up a plushie, smiling, and putting it in a small poket hanging by her dress' side, as well as the mirror.. somehow stowing them away without a billowing of her dress, a little poket of holding with a larger space inside than out, a little tool of most of her dresses. "I hope I wont need them for more than their softness." She nodded. "Aww she sounds lovely, which place does her family live at?" Deva asked, with a randomly curious smile, that stayed as she watched the goo-girls door knocking and overall excitedness.

She did wave a hand to present herself and nudged Isa to wave her sign, only to raise her eyebrows momentarily at the goo girls almost bored seeming reaction. "Hmn." Deva made, when the door was slammed before her, putting on her inventors goggles. "Trick question. If you had to map out the path Mulji had to take towards her folks, would one of the quickest ways towards it lead past those dangerous caves the mayor had restricted? I say trick question because I know the answer." Deva nodded to Isa. "Truth time. We are not tourists, we didn't come here only to see the fancy goo-folks, we came here because .. well, your friends reaction wasn't normal, was it? I really hope its either limited to the caves or to the mayor or alike, likely the tome isn't sending me to the most extreme first. Anyway. Isa, gentle freezing only." Deva nodded, before lifting her hand, knocking on the door again... and again if it didn't open in an irregular pattern.

She was really good at annoying people. "Hello." She said, a bright smile on her lips, her foot placed in an angle up against even a slightly opened door. "I'm Deva, didn't get to introduce myself, terribly sorry to interrupt you again, as you must be doing something important.." She glanced up into the room beyond the goo-woman, then went on. "But you have not yet completed your solid people essay. You see, after meeting us we require you answer an essay of at least twenty question to rate your level of satisfaction with the encounter, its a sacred tradition to my people!" Deva explained, nodding calmly.

"Before we start the essay, please state your full name, age and occupation and if you would or would not mind this talk being recorded by my tome deluxe for latter quality control purposes." She lifted her tome, before continuing, as far as she could. As a matter of fact, she also suddenly spoke exeptionally fast, not hesitating to repeat her words if the pink goo girl was unwilling to respond, and happy to interrupt her mid word if she did. A more wicked person, or skilled.. information gatherer of any persuasion would perhaps recognize Deva using, for all intents and purposes, a rapid fire interrogation technique, using the goo-girls desire to be left alone as leverage to either provoke her, or get swift responses, not letting her counterpart get much of a say in, to the point she was actually a little out of breath if she got to the end of her list.:

"Sorry, as I said, rather sacred tradition, no way around it. Answering these is the quickest way to -be left alone-. Please rate the following from one to five stars, one being does not apply at all to five, does fully apply.
  • I enjoyed meeting solid people.
  • I was suprised at meeting solid people.
  • I'd recommend meeting solid people to a friend.
  • Solid people are not something I've ever expected to meet.
  • I secretly like Limone a lot and want to keep her save.
  • How would you rate the value of time invested in meeting solid people over not meeting them?
  • I'd like to meet other solid people in the future.
  • I'd recommend solid people to friends and family.
  • I never actually met with my relatives.
  • I've enjoyed taking this questionary so far.
  • Please help me.
  • I am satisfied with solid people test(tm).
  • Please rate the following as well, individually:
  • Overall interaction with solid people.
  • Apperance of solid people in person.
  • feeling of being not in control of your own actions.
  • Friendlyness of interaction of solid people with you.
  • Overall interaction with solid people. Add any comments you might have!
thanks for your interaction with solid people, we are looking forward to your future encounters with us!"
She cheerfully droned, if she got that far.

"Well do you call your puppies 'Solid Puppies' or 'Solidies' or something? It's like, normal for you so you don't really need to call attention to something like that." Limona would answer, showing that she could think things through logically if she took some time or if it was something that she was very interested in. "A bajillion is a super rough estimate of the whole thing. And your dress certainly is white, a very good color that. WhiteSlime City is the capital, after all, and lots of rich slimes paint their buildings a brilliant white so that they look super bright in the sun."

"Cause there are thousands and thousands of blue slimes out there, so naming us after our color would get difficult really fast. I'm not gonna go naming you 'Pinkish-Tan' or something like that just cause you've got that color of... outside." She didn't actually have a word for 'skin' considering that it didn't come up in her world. The closest that she might have is 'bark' like with trees, but that didn't seem right when talking about a person that wasn't made of wood.

Both Isa and Limona would continue to listen to Deva's advice, Isa because she had seen everything that Deva could do and knew that she probably knew enough about this kind of stuff, and Limona because she wanted to learn more about how to be confident, and figured that learning from new solid people might be a smart way to use her time. "Yeah, no problem. As long as the attack is gooey like everything else then I'll stop it for you..." Of course, that also meant that she'd need to be a bit more alert, as reacting to a sudden attack wasn't easy. But that'd be no problem for her, it just meant that she had another thing to focus on while pretending to be the biggest slime enthusiast that any of the slimes had ever seen. Part of her wondered what that'd be like in reverse, like how she herself would react if she ever found a slime that was just really eager to meet as many solid people that she possibly could.

"Yeah, we have people that are top of the line in goo fashion that come up with new ideas, and sometimes get all super trendy with the types of clothing they create. I've never been big on following that kind of stuff though. I found the style that I really like, and decided that I'll pretty much stick with a few selections from that trend." Limona wouldn't actually know where the need for 'clothes' had come from either, as it was just something that she had accepted all her life. Some people liked to change their slime appearance to look like they had clothing, and some were find doing things the regular way and going without any clothing at all. Especially considering that she was never all that into fashion, she wouldn't know anything about the history of fashion either.

Some of the slime around her cheeks would go a bit pinker when Deva told her that she was a nice person, not entirely sure how to handle being complimented like that. "Heh... thank you... I'm not all that nice though... Just figured I'd help the people that are willing to come with me to see Mulj... You're very nice too..." She'd smile a bit at the two of them, surprised that she had already made a couple of brand new friends, and SOLID friends at that! "Her family lives all the way in YellowGel Village, a decent trip away from here. But she wanted to live on her own, which was why she moved out here." She'd answer before the whole situation with the pink slime would happen and leave her much more silent and less energetic than she had been before.

"Yeah... Path leads near the cave... No that wasn't how Mulj normally is... She probably hates me..." Though once Deva would make her way towards the door, she'd look a bit worried and turn to see them. "Wait! Please don't bother her any more... I don't want her to get any more mad at me..." But she doubted that would actually work, so she'd sigh a bit and look down. "Alright... I'm gonna go... hide under that rock..." Then she'd sort of melt into a thin puddle on the ground, and slide underneath a decent sized rock nearby, completely hiding herself from being seen at all.

Once Deva knocked on the door, Mulj would immediately pull the door open, looking angry now. "I thought I told you to-! Oh... it's you. What do you want?" Her eyes would narrow a bit as Deva introduced herself, seeming even more agitated than when she had been talking to Limona. When Deva looked past her, she'd see a house similar to Limona's, with a few less plushies strewn about, and a few different colors. Actually there would be quite a few plants sitting around the house, looking freshly watered, some with beautiful flowers, and some barely starting to grow. "Seriously? You can't just leave me be and spend the rest of my day in peace? Aaarghh... Fine, I'll answer your insipid little questions if it means that you'll leave me alone." She'd cross her arms and roll her eyes at the thought of wasting even more time dealing with these solid people that Limona seemed so interested in. "Make sure you tell Limona that I blame her for THIS too when you get a chance..." But other than that she'd listen to what Deva had to say in the hopes of getting the rest of this stuff out of the way as quickly as possible.

"Mulj Drust, 32 Cycles, Unemployed, If it'll get this over with faster then I don't mind it being recorded, but if it'll not help in any way then I would very much mind it being recorded." But then Deva would be going rapid fire, and while Mulj was rather smart, she'd only be able to keep up for a little while, unable to find time to properly lie or think a lot of her answers through. She had never really been through any sorts of 'interrogation', so this kind of strategy was completely new to her. Isa would continue, meanwhile, to find herself impressed by the methods used by her companion, making note of them in case they could turn out to be useful for her at some point later down the line. That being said, Mulj was still able to answer the questions, as she was a good enough listener to hear them, she just had problems comprehending them in their entirety and thinking her answers through as carefully as she might have liked to.

Enjoyed meeting solid people? "One"
Surprised at meeting them: "Four"
Recommending them to a friend: "One"
Not ever expecting to meet them: "Five"

The question about Limona, however, would cause her to pause for a few moments, a look of strain coming to her face as though she were forcing something down. For a few moments it'd look as though she was internally struggling with something, but then she'd shake her head a bit and seemingly 'refocus' herself to answer the question. "One" Perhaps it was a good thing that Limona was hiding under a rock and couldn't hear the conversation going on, as Deva would get the feeling that that answer would devastate her a bit more than she already was.

Value of time invested: "One"
Wanting to meet other Solid People: "One"
Recommend them to friends and family: "One"

If she had been thinking more carefully, and the rapid fire flurry of questions weren't getting to her, she might have been able to come up with something when asked if she had actually seen her relatives. But at this point she was just answering on autopilot, barely thinking of what answers she was giving and being honest without remembering to lie at certain points. "Five" Well it seemed that hunch had been completely correct.

Enjoyed the questions: "One"
Needing help? "Two"
Satisfied with the test: "One"
Overall interaction: "One"
Appearance: "One"

And once again she wouldn't be thinking about her answers, so at the question of 'not being in control of her own actions' she wouldn't be thinking through it enough to lie, or even just ask why such a strange question was being asked in the first place. Instead she'd just give an answer. "Five"

Friendliness and interaction: "One"
Overall interaction and further comments: "One. Are we done here? Can you just leave me alone already?" She'd ask, not even realizing some of the answers that she had just given, and really just wanting to get left alone at this point.

Deva made a mental note to name her next thing 'Solid something' just to prove the goo-girl wrong. "Wearing white to look brighter. Very smart. My approach too some could argue!" She enthused.

"Now I wonder what the rarest goo color is.. " And how they reproduce, but she wasn't going to ask a shy one like this about such things. "Hah, get it Isa? A goo girl sticking to a trend. Good one." Deva cheered. She could always appreciate a bad pun.

"Sorry Limone, bothering her is exactly what I want to do.. wait, I missed something.. oh yes, your name kinda sounds like a color too. Limon.. a light yellow. I'd guess your parents were green slimes, you turned out blue and you kept a name from the yellow side?" Deva theorized, randomly guessing about slime-breeding habits, though, it was less random when one realized she was subtly forcing Limone to take her mind off of the current situation and back to something nice and comfortable like her parents.

"Looky that, she literally hid under a rock. Goo girls are pun-heaven. Well one of them, anyway!" Deva had mused, before focusing on Mulj reappearing.

"Sorry, solid people rules. And she's a goo-girl enthusiast. She'll wait here all day, trust me." Deva whispered over, nodding in Isas direction.

"Alright! Well, you did agree to this talk being recorded. Lets repeat some of your answers. You were suprised to see us. You could use some help, you are not in control of your own actions and you never visited your relatives. Also not happy to meet us, I feel hurt. You don't like Limone, but that one was obvious, you more than like her.

First things first. I am really stupid. Do you know why I'm stupid Isa?"
She nodded. "I said whoever infiltrated this world had to be a slime or a good shapeshifter.. I completely forgot something that would be part of this world and thus also not arouse any suspicion, exspecially if it was brought back home by one goo girl and then spread, for example as gifts.

Then again, I'm actually kind of clever too, because I'll tell you what exactly happened."
Deva raised her finger... then looked over to the rock, raising her voice, a bit, that risked attention, but goo girls sounded a lot like just simple solid people, so she wasn't as concerned. Pulling out her tome she went on:

"Your name is Mulji Drust, 32, unemployed. You are very much in love with Limone but she always seemed so unapprochable you figured she was out of your league.. her face a bit too droopy or something. You propably met when buying a specific plushie? Anyway. You also like to collect flowers, so when you went to visit your relatives you strayed a little from your path, taken in by some beautiful flower you had never seen before that, is now controlling your actions." Deva snipped her finger, adding "You know, I could use this tome to fix you, but frankly.. She gave me plushies. So it's personal now." Deva nodded, putting Tomey away again. "Alright, plants. If I got things right. Whoever you are. I offer you a simple choice." She took a step forward, hand pushing into the door with suprising violence, as the shadow of her hat fell over her eyes at an angle, her fingers twitching slightly.

"Complete mental rewriting in a short amount of time would cost way too much energy for a simple sleeper agent, a few basic emotional responses should remain, namely, she'd seek out old friends and lovers first rather than reject them to focus on you lot. So something is replenishing the brainwashing, she's likely half aware and into it, right? Brainwashing lesson one, make the one involved in it love it. Is this how the cloaked one recruits her goos? ... that doesn't matter right now. Simple choice.

My name is Deva Undon. I've seen many evil things done, I've seen a whole race of evildoers become good in time, so I try to moderate my actions, to not act rashly or in a way I might regret. Still, I can never idly stand by when I see bad things happen to people that don't deserve 'em. Few things get me angry, but destroying innocent love, the source of life and a new future, is among them. I like to believe you didn't realize she was not alone when you took her and rewrote her, so I'm giving you a chance to release her and retreat. Whats that? You think choices need another option? Not mine. "
Deva had no problem monologuing a propably slightly confused.. and worried pink goo girl and a room full of flowers, yet, for once, every playfulness had vanished from her voice, it was like the cold calmth she had spoken with once or twice before, but far worse. She spoke no threats, and yet just listening to her voice was threatening. She wasn't physically imposing, infact, barely Isas size, yet she seemed.. larger almost, her form looming over Mulj. She wasn't strong, yet to those listening, it seemed as if the doorframe might crack under her hand at any moment..

And then she let go, taking a step back, sitting down, cross leggedly, not looking at Mulj. "Or, you know, don't." She hopped down, reaching into the poket of her dress, pulling out .. not Tomey, but another book, large, and cluttered, a notebook that looked as if someone had used it for years and years, exhaling slightly, all playful again, whispering to Isa: "Takes way too much effort to puff yourself up like this. Don't recommend it as your go-to for getting angry. Try snow swirling around you or something, I bet that'd look great and be less effort." She remarked, whilest flipping through her book. Isa could likely see a mixture of pages over pages of arcane runes and Devas own, trademark, stickmen, explaining what was going on.. "So fun fact, these are the other dark decisions you make. What do you do when you can't save good people.. and what do you do when you have to punish bad people. Yes, sometimes you have to punish bad people, so that they and other bad people understand.. no.. this is were we draw the line. This is something you can't do and if you do it, there will be consequences. Cloaked one got one of these coming, cause she's indirectly responsible for everything here as well." She nodded, pulling out a cupcake that looked suspiciously lilke one of Robyns, munching it whilest keeping one finger as bookmark on one page of her book and flipping on...

Deva's attempt at getting Limona to think of her parents instead of her sadness didn't seem to work, and instead she just slid underneath the rock so that she wouldn't be seen. And if Deva listened closely she'd hear a sobbing noise coming from under the rock, but otherwise there'd be no sound coming from Limona as she tried to hide from just about everything.

Mulj would listen a little bit when Deva explained what she had recorded in her Tome, raising a slime eyebrow to that. Though she suddenly seemed to realize what she had just let slip, her eyes going wide and then getting nervous now that Deva understood that she wasn't in control of her own actions. "Wha? No... Err... You were just talking really fast and you confused me. I'm fine... Nothing to worry about here. Just leave me alone... please..." Well she definitely wasn't as angry and demanding as she was before, essentially getting 'declawed' now that she was found out. While she tried her best to deflect, after letting that much information slip had pretty much left her with nothing to do other than try to fib her way out of all this. "I'm not happy to meet you because you ask all these confusing questions and bother me... You got me all confused and then took my answers as though they meant anything..." She explained, trying to put on an act as though she were really upset about Deva making incorrect conclusions, rather than being in a slight panic now that Deva had made absolutely correct conclusions about the entire situation.

"Oh... so you're saying that instead of an agent for this one they sent in something that could spread? Or are you saying that they sent an agent that's been using something that could spread instead of doing all the dirty work themselves?" Seems that Isa was getting better at catching on to Deva's theories, working together what she was trying to say once she started going.

"That's... That's crazy... I-I definitely saw my family and had a nice time with them... How about you go ask them first? It's just a few days travel... I can even give you directions if you need it... Go ask them and leave here and you'll see that I never ran into any really pretty looking flowers and didn't take any home with me so they could keep being pretty and spraying pollen... I would never do that." Mulj would lie, showing that she was a very bad liar when she was nervous and panicked like she was right now. "If you need plushies then you can take some of mine if it'll get you to leave... I can get new ones, but if that's all it takes to make you leave then just take them. Just leave me and my plants alone." She'd move a bit to better block the doorway, trying to protect the flowers within from Deva in case she had some way to harm them from afar. And at the same time that would even further confirm that Deva's theory was correct, Mulj was being controlled by the plants within her home. Which would also mean that she was busy growing new ones, likely to spread them through the story like Deva had theorized and spread even further to everyone else.

Though all of her attempts to block the door would be undermined once Deva started to actually look intimidating. Her whole body would begin to shake in fear, knowing that there was no way for her to stand up to the solid angel right in front of her. Part of her desperately wanted to run, but her programming was telling her to try and stand her ground even in the face of such a powerful seeming threat. However, once Deva was done offering her 'choice', she'd hear noise emanating from the plants in Mulj's home, the flowers and plants vibrating in a way that created a voice, a whisper carried on the air around them, a voice Deva hadn't heard yet. "Fool... I can't stop my precious children from fulfilling the very purpose they are designed for... They can not release the slime just as much as a fish can not stop swimming... Even were I before you right now, I would only have limited control of my creations... Harm them at your own risk, I will merely create more. Begone from my slave... She has duties to fulfill..." The voice was feminine, and if it was to be believed it wasn't in the immediate area, only the flowers that it created was...

Once Deva was done with her display, Isa would thank her for the advice before realizing something. "I feel like your Tome picked the perfect set of opponents for my magic... Goo-People and Plants both have some problems dealing with ice. Also... I don't sense any large magic energy in that home. There's definitely some magic coming off the flowers and plants, but I don't think that strange voice was lying..." With Deva taking a step back, Mulj would immediately close the door, trying to keep the threat to the plants out, trying to protect the things that were brainwashing her. How Deva had gotten so much right, she would never know, but she even got the fact that she was made to enjoy the whole situation correct, apparently doing that helped to make her even more protective. It was hard to resist things that you enjoy, so they weren't entirely forcing her to do things. Then again, it took a bit of time for her to be able to say or do anything bad concerning Limona, THAT they had needed to force rather than 'convince'. Either way, Deva was now facing a closed door once again, not exactly the biggest challenge for her, but it might alert the rest of the slime people in the town, and breaking into a home generally wasn't seen as the right thing to do, especially when they weren't aware of the circumstances surrounding the action.

"Potentially, yes. There could still be a core-consciousness of course." Deva nodded to Isa, ignoring Mulj.. who was controlled anyway.

Well, until tempted to travel to Muljs family anyway, peering over. "Good idea, describe the place and I could teleport over, be back in five. .. but that'd be a waste of a tricky spell." Once she heard the voice, however, Deva nodded, her expression grim.

"If we create a beast we cannot control, that mauls an innocent child, the beast will be put down, and we'll be held responsible" She answered the whispering of plants.

"Ah. Perhaps my tome wanted to give you a chance to shine?" Deva mused, flipping through the pages of her book.. "In that case, I am very sorry to restrain your options, but we might face gooeys in the future. I foresaw this danger, of course. the more control she has over a story, the more likely we are made to fight innocents. Another thing I loathe. But, doing good doesn't always mean... hold on.

You said you can freeze plants and goo girls, right, but thats based on the moisture within them. Pollen has different moisture from plantgirls. Think you could modulate your freezing to be harmless to goos but harmful to plants? It's all a matter of temperature, if you think about it. I'm asking,.. could you freeze the two googirls in a way that they'll taw, better, so they don't have to endure this anymore?"
Deva shrugged briefly. "Eh... just me dreaming of hurting no one." Deva flipped on through her book, sighing and explaining, to Isa. "Theres a spell for nearly everything, but I can't acess them all of course. I can only use clerical magic and sorcery. Plants are a druids strength.. You know how much I want to cast horrid wilting on the plants right now, all because of one girl sobbing? Do you still think me a hero?!" She finally looked up to Isa, her eyes glowing a deep, consuming red.

"The key to not being evil is not ever considering what you could do. How you could slowly torture those plants to death, to provoke their mistress to focus on you. It doesn't mean you can't think you want to do horrible things.

It means you always do better."
She closed her eyes, exhaled, opening them to a weak, tired blue.

"And I don't blame those that lack the strength, or knowledge, to do better." She seemed.. exhausted for some reason, snapping the book closed, and putting it away. "Issue one, getting in.." She leaned to the doorframe, and halfloud, informed the inside. "Sorry about your door!" Before waving her hand, mumbling a simple spell, .. pointing at a window. " " Then she stepped to the window, inhaling with no sound.. and she screamed, punching the window. And punching it again, a silent display of rage and pain, before the glass finally shattered, silently, inwardly, perhaps one or two pieces of glass causing a clattering noise when they slid out of the windowframe, with Deva jumping in right after, not minding the deep gash the glass left in her arm.

"Does it count?" She asked, leaving the zone of silence. "I get a bit self destructive when in anguish. But I guess it doesn't count for as much when I can.. Cure moderate wounds. Hmnn.. " She touched her arm, a blue glow emanating from her hand, healing most of her injuries. "Cure light wounds. Now then.

You will not be making any more plants, because you will be busy gathering your plants from everywhere you send them to. Because you will need everything you have to try and gain revenge. Or defend yourself from me, if you prefer.

See, one thing your mistress seems to understand in her silence is that as soon as we start talking, I'm winning. You gave away a lot of secrets with your words, and you are not a lier, I can tell. If you get out of this, consider it a lesson. First mistake, you told me that those plants were precious to you."
Deva smirked at the plants. "Second mistake, you told me you have only limited control over them. Oh and.. don't worry, I'd need more than a few spores to be controlled as I am right now." She waved her hand threateningly at a plant, then, when Mulj rushed to protect it she instead stepped over to the door, opening it.

"Isa! Hey, question time. If you create something. If you make a creation independent of you, almost like a child, your magnum opus, what do you fear more than anything else? To see your creation suffer? WRONG!"

She seemed less exhausted now, as if she had overcome.. something.

"I could never be so cruel. I win through kindness. And luckily I have happened to make creatures of my own, so I understand how it weights on your mind, what you truly fear, the one thing you can't protect your creation from, if you actually care about it at all. Isa. I wasn't searching for a spell like wither or horrid wilting in that spellbook of mine. Theres no such spell in it anyway. Funny huh, theres about two spells of destruction for every one spell of creation in existance, but I memorized heh,,.. heh, none of them!

I was looking for a spell I remembered I could get going with my own magic."
She stepped to the watering can, winked at Mulji, and pressed her hand against it, glowing brightly. "The one thing I was really good at always. Positive energy. It doesn't just work on people, solid or not, you can use it on plants as well." She spun around, grinning to Mulj. "I'm helping you water the plants, want to try and stop me? Actually. Liiimoneee!" She shouted out.

"Limone really likes you. She wants to help you water the plants. Phantasma!" Deva cheered, creating another watering can out of nowhere(though this one had a cheerful angel-smiley beneath it to label it as her copyright, as Deva rushed to fill the can up with water, then infuse it with healing energy as well. "Come ooon Limone! Get in here, Mulj needs your help!" She shouted, with urgency, then, when the goo finally arrived, handed her a watering can.. "Your help watering the plants, that is. Go ahead, they are nice plants! Have a sniff!" Deva enthused, handing her can to Mulj, with an added whisper: "It's only 45% humidity int he afternoon, better water them up, ignore me, I don't want to hurt them, ask them if you don't believe me."

Deva grinned at Isa. "You understand what the plants creator is doing right? Remote control brainwashing, anything the plants whisper their enslaved servants will do. So why am I helping them? Why would I want poor Mulj enslaved? Simple. The thing every parents fear."

She grinned at the plants. "Teenagers." Her grin widened even more. "Fun fact, I can actually talk to plants. I cast that spell on myself with permanency, long ago. Of course I can't talk to them if you use them as remote chatting station. There was a saying on my old homeworld. It ment something akin to.. Power is easy. Cruelty is easy to do. But You propably don't understand any of my ranting. Heh. You don't even know the saying after all. Beware the smiling angel.

Fun fact, people would quickly get it wrong, as Beware the smiling angels. Was still easier in my home world. I could simply tell them. 'No.. most angels look kind of stoic or sadish when they do these kind of things. Theres only ever been one that smiled when they prepared to destroy evil. Me.'"
Deva clasped her hands together.

" I'm showing your plants another way. I'm showing them what you kept from them. I'm showing them a better way. I'm showing them.. love. I'm showing them all the things they'd have supressed, if they had just acted how you created them." Devas smile stayed, but the glint in her eyes became dangerous. "Because plants are a lot smarter than you give them credit for. Plants can communicate with one another. They want sun and love and nutrients. Do you even understand how life as a plant feels? You are so very scared of those things that move, because you cannot move, and they can harm you. But given a chance to control those that can move, of course that would be their first priority. Protect me. Feed me. But I'm showing them that you don't have to be in control, and thanks to you enhancing them, they can understand and listen."

Deva extended her hand to the plants. "Isn't that right? You don't have to control them completely to make them care for you. How about instead of being a parasite, you try a symbiosis. You understand that, right? every plant understands that. Your roots grow deep into the earth and entwine, were you trade nutrients, whereas parasites are the things that crawl on you and eat your leaves and steal your juices. You embrace each others roots yet create poison for the insects, why would the moving-people act any different if you gnaw away their relationships? Let Mulj experience her love, let Limone experience her love. No.. enhance them. Make these goo-creatures all horny and eager to do it with one another, and you'll make sure there'll be descendants that care for you forever. Why are you locked in here like this, away from the sun beyond what comes through the windows? It's because they were afraid of you, because you weren't nice to them, but that wasn't you. That was just your silly parent, telling you to do things in a stupid way." Deva leaned against a wall, pulling out a toothpick from somewhere in her dress, putting it in her mouth, all cool-like.

"Hey, wanna show your mommy whos really in charge of the goo people here? Do like the cool angel does and do nice things. Nice is cool. Hey.. heres an idea." She leaned up to one of the plants, whispering.: "If you get them all horny and steamy just being close to you, I bet you can get them to give you some special nutrients. Not only that, once the goos understand how you function, there'll be MORE of them coming here, wanting a fun time with you. You wont have to make them spread you you wont have to hide from the sun.. they'll -want- to share you. They'll plant you all over the world. Imagine that, in a few centuries, your descendants could be all over this world, living in unison with the goos that care for you." She leaned back.

"Comee ooon plantsies! Give it a try! rather than supressing their love like you have, let it run wi- .. . let it blossom! It's so much more easy when you let them mostly do their own things.. you just have to increase the number of things they love a lot from each other, their family and plushies, to each other, relatives, plushies, and plants. Because thats what plants want, isn't it? Plants don't want to rule the world. They don't want to give moving people they struggle to understand commands they don't even benefit from. They want to grow and flourish. And to grow.. that also means Love!" Deva crossed her arms, finally, adding in another tone, though a part of her crossed her fingers, hoping deep down it all worked..

"You propably can still hear me, some sort of dryadess or whatever that you can speak through plants? I figure, to make extra sure you'd go undetected you used plants from this world and altered them? Even if not, you must have used this worlds soil. These plants belong in this world. You do not. And now.. the plants are revolting. Even if you spread -your- plants all over this world already, without your command, my plants will show yours another way, the thing with freedom is.. once you've been freed, you never want to go back to chains. These plants are throwing you off of their world.

I'm certain you could still stop this if you went to stop these plants from spreading, if you came here. But there is someone in your way. Lets meet in the wildernis by the Black goo.. or was it slime? Anyway. Let's meet on your terrain. I'm angry with you, so you need every advantage you can get.. oh and, don't bother trying to answer, I bet by now the plants refuse to be abused as your mouthpiece anymore, aren't you?"
She leaned over, pet petting one of the plants gently. "Now then! Mulj, Limone! Important task for the days to come, I know you are super shy, but the plants can help with that.. they will help with that. I figure the Mayor banned the cave because they realized there was something dangerous closeby. Perhaps they even know it was the plants. You have to help the plants, fix the misunderstanding. You are.. ambassadors for plantkind." She nodded.

Mulj's eyes would widen further when Deva said that she could just teleport away to her family instead and find out the truth from them, not expecting the solid person to have that kind of magic. "Err... Don't do that... You can't because there's an... anti-teleport... thing... at their village so it wouldn't work..." Well that settled it, Mulj was an absolutely terrible liar. She couldn't control the clear nervousness in her voice, or the way that her body would shake a bit as she tried to come up with something that could cover for the ideas that Deva could keep bringing up.

The plants would remain silent from that point forward, and while their Mistress would still have ways to view the entire situation, at first she had no reason to respond to anything that Deva was saying. In her mind she had already won, it would only take a little more time now that Deva had caught on to her plans. Her own confidence in this whole situation was high after successfully catching one of the major parts of the story, and being able to use her to destabilize it properly. Some would say that it was a bit too high, but she knew that this was a victory waiting to happen, and a high reward if she could also manage to take Deva in with her.

"I'm not entirely sure if I'd be able to freeze specific things and leave others unharmed. I mean, I guess I could if you gave me enough time to practice that kind of thing. Though right now I don't know if I could do something like that. But if you'd like me to try, I would. I can just keep it to a safer temperature to make sure that none of them come away with any major injuries or damage." Isa would explain, more than willing to do anything that Deva needed if she felt that it would help the situation that they all found themselves in. Honestly, she wanted to find a way to help the two goo girls as much as she could as well, because seeing someone that seemed so nice look and sound so sad was heart breaking to her. Thankfully she could tell that Deva was already coming across some sort of plan to help the two of them, and while she definitely felt intimidated by the way Deva seemed to get serious, and even evil in some sense, she was also ready to see whatever plan she could come up with when it came to helping the two goo girls. Isa wasn't exactly one to mind it when the bad people got a little roughed up, as in her mind they brought it on themselves most of the time. Sure, she never intended to do anything majorly harmful to them on her own, but if someone else ended up doing it, or it happened as a result of her actions, she wouldn't spend all too much time feeling sorry for them.

Though once she calmed down, Isa would relax just a little bit and smile at Deva, knowing that she was a hero, even if she considered doing such terrible things. In her mind it wasn't just that, it was being able to overcome the urge to do those things. Being cruel was simple, harming others was easier than just about anything else, and the mind could come up with hundreds of justifications for WHY to do evil things, but Isa saw that Deva was strong enough not to just give in to those temptations. She was good enough, better enough, to not only prevent others from doing tremendous evil, she was good enough to keep herself from going down that road as well. THAT was the thing that impressed Isa the most, as she could understand the desire for revenge, and how much it could grow and twist any protective instincts that you might have. Part of her, even now, wished to do terrible things to the Cloaked Woman in revenge for the things that she had done, but at the same time she knew that she shouldn't be doing those things, no matter how much it felt like she deserved it. "Yes, I still do think you a hero. In fact, the more and more I look at you and hear what you have to say, the more I consider you a better hero than any of the ones that I've seen up to this point."

"Eeeeeep!" Mulj would scream as her window was suddenly broken, and Isa for her part would rush over to see if Deva's arm wasn't severely injured after all of that. Then she'd calm down slightly once she saw the angel cast her healing magic, glad that she wasn't just recklessly breaking things when she probably could have just fired a bit of ice into the window to shatter it. "P-Please... Stay out of my home! Don't hurt my flowers!' Once Deva stepped into the room, she'd find the entire home smelled incredible. A thick and sweet smell would fill the air, pollen in the air and being breathed in, however it would take some time for it to really affect Deva, as they were designed to work strongly against goo people rather than solid people like Deva.

But her panic would grow into confusion once Deva grabbed a watering can rather than using fire or some type of plant killing magic or something crazy like that. "You're... trying to water them? B-But... don't you already know what they do? You're probably planning to pour some kind of solid people poison on them!" She'd say, sounding really defensive for a bit before she noticed that Deva hadn't done anything to change the contents of the can, just seeing water in it. And the plants around her were saying that there seemed to just be water in the cans, making her even more confused by the end of it.

Once Deva called out, saying that Mulj would need help, Limona would slide out from under her rock, reforming to what she had looked like before (though her face was really water-y at this point), and she'd immediately start moving with a lot of speed, even faster than she had been on the way into town. She was running like her own life depended on it, and she'd make it much faster than Deva would think that a slime could ever move. "Mulj?! Is she ok?! What's going on?!" Her previous sadness seemed completely gone now, replaced by worry and fear that someone she cared about was in some sort of danger. But then she looked just as confused as Mulj, holding the watering can and examining it a little closer. Though as directed, she'd lean in and smell one of the flowers, a puff of pollen reaching her face, and she'd end up breathing it in deeply. "Mmmmmmmm... Oooh... that does smell... really nice." Without even thinking about it, Limona would start to water the plants, smiling a little and continuing to smell them every now and then, the pollen affecting her rather quickly. Mulj meanwhile would be looking at the display, smiling a bit as she saw someone else tending to the flowers, and taking Deva's watering can with a smile. "Ok... Watering would be nice right now..." Then she'd get to tending to them as well.

Isa would actually chuckle for a bit when Deva started to explain herself and her thoughts on 'teenagers' and how they were what parents tended to fear the absolute most from their creations. "Rebellion. The worst words for a government, and a parent. If you can make these plants go along with something like that, then I suppose there'd be no need to get rid of them or do anything terrible. That's really smart." Though she would cover her mouth and nose with a bit of cloth, not planning on inhaling the pollen immediately until she was sure that the plants were going along with Deva's plan. While Deva could resist quite easily, Isa already knew her own problems when it came to resisting certain bits of mental influence, if the first story had been any indication at least.

The plants wouldn't respond in any vocal way... however, Mulj would stop her watering for a moment and look at Deva, tilting her head curiously before speaking up. "They... They wanted me to tell you that they believe you... and that... they want to live as... as... 'symbiotes' with us instead..." But with that she'd return to watering them and tending to them, humming a little happily as she did so, all the worry from earlier already being drained from her now that the plants weren't as scared of Deva either. Around the room, all the flowers would listen to Deva's way of doing things, and her advice as to how to better live, better get nutrients and spread among others. They didn't need to force and control all the moving creatures, if the moving creatures actually liked what they could do, actually started to enjoy the feeling without control, they could both live together peacefully. That made sense to all of them, and they didn't want to be mean to the creatures when the creatures hadn't done anything to actually harm them. The only reason the moving creatures would harm them would be if they did something bad to the moving creatures as well... so they would need to stop doing those kinds of things. They would need to stop listening to their mother that had told them the only way was to completely control the moving creatures. She was wrong... if they could do this in a peaceful way then they would do that instead.

In the middle of watering the plants, both Mulj and Limona would look at each other, as though seeing each other for the very first time. The plants had gotten into their minds, and opened up the feelings that they shared for one another. The two would blush slightly, staring at one another and smiling, and then they'd rush to each other and hug close, suddenly holding one another in a kiss fueled by passion and love, their slime bodies starting to sort of meld together for a few moments as they kept one another close. "Limona... I'm so sorry... You've always been so wonderful and shy and cute and beautiful... I never wanted to ruin our friendship by risking this... But now... I need to tell you... I love you Limona... I always have." And Limona was a bit more herself, but hearing that would make her eyes almost shine with pure happiness. She would take a few moments to find her words, just smiling wide with excitement, love, and fulfillment. It was her dream come true, and she just didn't know exactly how to respond... until she felt a bit of encouragement from the plants and found her words. "Mulj... I just couldn't manage to tell you how I felt... I've always loved you... I just though that you'd never want someone like me... But... I always dreamed that something like this might happen... I always wanted this... I love you..." Then the two would return to kissing, the plants wanting to try a much more peaceful solution for both themselves and their world, free of the influence of their creator.

And far off, in her cavern, said creator was fuming over the fact that something like that had worked. She would need to find some way to fix this after she dealt with the angel. Perhaps she would just have to remove those plants and start over, or perhaps she would just find some way to completely rewire those plants to go back to listening to her properly. Either way, she'd need to fix this before the story got back on track the way that it was meant to. Well, first things first would be preparing for that little Angel, and then she'd figure out how to handle these problems afterwards. Plus... she seemed to have a visitor already... what in the world were they even doing here right now?

Meanwhile, back at the house, Isa would give a genuine smile and look at the two of them. And after another kiss, the two would turn to Deva with a smile on both of their faces, listening to what she was advising them to do. "We'll do that. We can find some way to show people that these pretty flowers don't actually mean any harm... They know now that they were doing bad things... and will try to help fix that. We'll do everything that we can to help people understand that they don't want to cause any problems with anyone... Thank you... Thank you so much for this... When they were controlling me... I was crying inside when I acted that way to Limona... But I just... I just feel like myself again... Thank you..." She'd say, the both of them nodding and trying to think up a good way to show everyone that the flowers were no longer as dangerous as they had been before.

"I'm not a hero." Deva had insisted again before her.. home invasion, though she was back to smiling, so that was something.

A grin that only spread, when, after dividing her watering-cans she recieved Isas praise. "It's good I created things like the Fluffies myself, so I knew what you worry about when you create independent folks. Well, also, I don't like governments." Deva nodded, then gave Mulj a thumbs up. "Splendid!" She grinned, adjusting her toothpick. "Now thats how you are cool. Remember, don't smoke, drink plenty of juice, question authority." Deva was a.. mixed bag of a role model perhaps.

When the two goo-girls stormed towards each other, she pulled out her tome, whispering. "Can you bend the story a little bit for me.. ah, yes, exactly that, you are reading my mind." She picked up the soft, clean tissue, brushing her eyes and tooting into it. " 's so romantic." She nodded to Isa. "Perhaaaps we should leave the two be though." She cleared her throat as she watched the goo-girls kind of merging with one another. She had a growing suspicion that goo-girl sexytimes was actually not all that kinky, more a... melding and didn't want to ruin her own fantasies about it. She was definitly afraid to peek otherwise. "I know you are super horny and happy, but can you do me a favour the two of you, try to poke me with your goo, as fast as you can extend it. Just once or twice, goodbye pokes. It's a solid people thing." It actually wasn't, but Deva wanted to observe how fast an average goo could move. She nodded encouragingly, giving the two a thumb up after two or three pokes. "Thanks! you are great. I'd poke you back, but... finger would just kinda prod into you and I don't want to... ruin your moment."

"I'm glad to hear that, luckily, you are not a good lier.. and luckily, I am. Now then. It's propably best if you tell no one there've been any solid people... you'll have enough to talk about as is." Deva nodded, extending her arm to Isa, her hand resting.. on the ice mages left breast.. "Thanks again for the plushies, you might have saved my hide somewhere down the line.

p.s. The word you were looking for is a teleportation lock, also called planar lock, it prevents teleporation into an entire area. Good party trivia. pop!"

Deva cheered, suddenly puffing into a fluttering gust of feathers, with Isa turning into a swirling of ice, before both of these disappeared slowly.

Only to reappear before the sign they had arrived in this story at. Everyone could use a teleport spell, but Deva had learned how to add flair to it. "Question: Why did I tell the opponent we were coming, three reasons." She gave Isa to go on, as she made her way towards the cave, arms crossed behind her back, eyes cautiously focused on the plantlife around her as she continued on. "Bonus points if you tell me why I jumped into the plant filled room without prior protection after learning the pollen was dangerous." Deva enthused, fluffing up her wings, though her expression had grown a little more serious again.

"Well we're just going to have to agree to disagree on that one then... Cause really I'm just gonna keep thinking that you're definitely a hero." Isa would say, this time smiling a bit playfully, more as though she were teasing Deva about that disagreement rather than feeling like making an actual argument about that.

"You've said that two different times, what even are these 'Fluffies' that you mentioned?" Deva might remember that Isa hadn't actually been around when she had sent one off to cause some trouble for the Cloaked Woman and her agents. While Deva's words were confusing to the plants, they at least had decided that her example when it came to being kind was a much better option than the things that their creator had told them. "They want to thank you for teaching them this... And that they wish you luck when you go to face their 'Mother' in the cave..." Mulj would say, being far enough along to be able to better communicate the message from the plants.

When Deva mentioned that now might be the time to leave, she'd see Mulj and Limona kissing some more, and this time she'd notice a long streak of blue slime reaching far down into Mulj, which was likely Limona's tongue reaching deep into her while they 'kissed'. Though it would retract suddenly, and the two would look up at Deva and smile one more time. "Before you go... um... I really am thankful that you helped us both out... I... I've never felt happier than I am right now with Mulj and it's all thanks to you... If you ever need help, in anything, I promise I'll be there to help you." "Me too! If you need our help, it's the very least we could ever do for you!" And just as in the last story, the Tome would suddenly glow, two pages right next to each other, one glowing a deep blue, the other a bright pink. And the same information that had shown up for Robyn would show up for the two slimes, meaning that Deva had another couple friends that she could call on if she was ever in need.

"Goodbye pokes? Wow... Solid people really are a strange lot... It's so cool! I can't believe you were the first to see them Limona! That's awesome!" But then the two of them would reach their fingers out, rushing a string of goo out at the speed of a snapping plant to gently poke Deva a few times, both moving about as fast as Limona had been while rushing to save Mulj. Perhaps that was the rough limit of their speed, which meant that Limona had actually been moving as fast as she possibly could. "Alright... Goodbye then! I hope everything goes well for you two! But Mulj has been gone for a whole week... So I think we have a little bit of catching up to do..." She'd say, sounding more sultry and confident than she had been a little bit ago, returning to her passionate kiss of her new lover. Isa would blush, meanwhile, when her breast was grabbed again, and yet still wouldn't complain. Which meant that it was either an after effect of the last Story they had been in, or that Isa secretly didn't mind that as much as she might have a little while back.

The ice mage would look around as they were back at the crossroads from earlier, looking over to the cave, which was now sealed off by a mass of vines that hadn't even been present when they first appeared. It seemed that the agent had already had a little bit of time to prepare for their arrival, and had used that time to try and buy herself some more time. "If I had to guess... You wanted to give them time to prepare so that they'd become more confident and underestimate you, you wanted to suddenly appear so they'd be left underprepared despite having the time to do so, and it gives them time to throw everything they have at you, and therefore learn that it's useless to try and beat you? Oh! And you probably went into the house to further make the woman more confident in themselves? That way they will think this battle is completely in the bag." Isa guessed, knowing that Deva was very good when it came to out thinking her opponents, and assumed that this was another move in her larger strategy to get her opponents to act and react exactly how she wanted them to.

As she walked, she'd notice the occasional flower that looked like the ones in Mulj's homes, as well as a few special plants that seemed to follow her movements, as though they were tracking her. Other than that, the only strange thing left was the large mass of vines blocking the entrance to the cave, which she would need to remove or get through if she wanted to get any further in.

Deva shrugged at Isa's disagreement. Nothing she could do! "Oh, the Fluffies were my first attack on the cloaked one, they usually make for an interesting investigative force. They are about hand-sized fuzzballs that neutralize and consume magical energy. I used them to learn the nature of our opponents a bit better as well as sow some confusion." Deva explained.

"If you are very good you might be able to encourage the plants into growing yummy fruits for you down the line, just a suggestion." She enthused, waving to the plants. Deva chuckled, flipping open her tome about the goo-girls briefly.. this was information she hadn't gathered before, after all. "Tomey, be a dear and set Robyn up as emergency summon if I'm ever truly taken out. Is into emergency rescues anyway, if history is to be believed." She requested.

Devas theory about Limone rushing as fast as possible had been proven true when she saw the goo-girls .. snapping at her, smile-nodding and noting this for.. the future, before waving to the goo-girls.

"Oh wow, Isa, not bad! I hadn't thought of half of that. I said three to see what you'd come up with. I'm so gonna do the demoralizing-thing!
But yes, if you tell people you are coming for them, in their head, that creates a certain amount of time they can control. If you leave it open, they worry and prepare, if you don't.. they get overconfident. I did plan to teleport to throw this equation off balance, though, the limit of teleportation magic is of course that you have to have seen the place. I could have used Mulj's description of the place, but that is still tricky.

But one thing you missed as well, by telling her we are coming for her.. we make ourself targets, not the goo-girls which are right now, exeptionally vunerable."
Deva nodded.

"I'll do you one better. I guessed that the pollen was composed for non-solid people, so not only do I know the when but also the what the opponent might be doing, right now, converting her pollen to better affect us. Whenever you talk to the opponent, remember, that your goal is to defeat them. If your words don't serve that goal, by off-balancing the enemy or learning more about them, you better remain silent.

But you might wonder why I tell you all this and not rush, that would make most sense.. nope, because I wanted you to be prepared. You go ahead. They do know little about your powers, after all."
She patted Isa's back suddenly, subtly shifting her position. "I'm the backup this time. Goal is simple. A plant gets uppity, you freeze it. You said your magic was good against plants, right?" Deva nodded to the viney entrance of the caves. "I got your back this time. Trust me, it's the better option. I might get rough with our plant-despot.

.. no need to keep the shield or edited dress either anymore, unless you really like 'em. Who am I to judge if you were secretly a slime-fan all along?"
Deva enthused, peeking at a plant that she was most confident had been observing her.. and giving it a cheerful wave. What she didn't tell Isa was that she didn't expect the ice mage to be ready for this.. But she'd never be ready if Deva simply did all the work all the time. So she'd let Isa get some battle experience, she expected, plus, the longer she could observe an opponent with unknown strength.. and a plant-user in a natural cave could have some unknown suprises...

The better. Deva looked at Isa, giving her a reassuring smile, hiding her suspicions deep within and giving Isa a thumbs up, musing to herself. 'This is why I'm not a hero. I lie to everyone to reach my goals. Even to you. "I'll be back up and.. moral support. Or psychological warfare, depends on perspective, really.. And I say !" She shouted at the cave cheerfully. "Everybody sing Heyy-O! Come on power up until you can't no more, let's get our foes shaking once and for all, this is your last warning, a courtesy call!" Deva hummed along, letting Isa take the lead.

"Always wanted to be a bard. Never had the patience for an instrument." Deva whisper-informed Isa.

"Fuzzballs that devour magic... sounds like a perfectly 'Deva' way to do things." Isa would smile, and chuckle a bit. While her companion wasn't exactly predictable, she at least had a taste for certain things, which made the idea of fuzzies perfectly sensible in the ice mage's mind. Sure she wouldn't be able to predict the next two steps that the angel would take, but at the very least she could understand how usually the seemingly harmless things around Deva were the things that she should likely worry the most about.

The two slimes would nod at the idea of being kind enough to the plants and potentially getting some kind of fruits from them, but otherwise they'd return to focusing on one another, enjoying each other now that the plants were all watered. Meanwhile, the Tome would have a bit of information about the two slimes, some basic stuff like where they were born, their age, and things like that. It even seemed to know that Limona had been bullied a lot as a child, which was what had made her so shy and quiet around most people. Right up until she met Mulj, an outgoing and adventurous woman met her while buying a cute new plushie. The two had been friends ever since. It would also tell Deva that the slimes weren't actually easy to physically injure, and could surround her with their bodies, nullifying most physical attacks since they aren't easy to harm. It could go into further details if she wished, but otherwise it would keep the information mostly general after Deva had told it not to look too into people's past. Meanwhile, the Tome would set itself to summon Robyn if things were looking particularly bad for her, essentially keeping a knight on standby to come to the rescue if Deva found herself truly defeated by something.

Isa would smile graciously when Deva expressed her surprise at the ideas that she could come up with when it came to psychological battling. "Heh, maybe you're rubbing off on me just a little bit with all the clever planning that isn't entirely planning." In that way she really hoped that she could manage to get back to her story, as her opponents would have something way tougher to face if she got a whole lot smarter from this adventure. "Direct the attention away from the innocent and towards us instead, a smart tactic. Robyn had a similar idea, as she let us through her defenses so long as it meant that we wouldn't harm the villagers she was keeping." And she just put another page in her own book over why she decided that Deva was a hero, she was perfectly fine with directing the enemy towards herself if it meant that no one would be going after the innocent.

Though the moment that Deva revealed that she planned on being the back up this time, Isa's eyes would widen and she'd look at her in complete surprise. "So... are you still coming in with me, or are you waiting out here until I call for help or... Oh geez... Definitely wasn't expecting this... Ok... I'll do my best!" She'd stand a bit straighter as she was the one going in head on now, taking a few breaths to prepare herself for whatever she was about to head into. "Yeah... my magic is great against plants, though the plants generally aren't in good shape by the end of it..." Then she'd take a tentative step forward, as though she were worried something was now going to suddenly jump at her since she was in charge. "Alright... I trust you... Here we go! Plants... get ready to meet ice magic and stuff... Err... Prepare to... 'chill out' or something..." But then she'd straighten up a bit and focus herself, getting her own confidence back now that the surprise was gone, and start walking towards the vine filled entrance. This was her time, her challenge to face. She had to pull her weight in this partnership after all, and after two worlds of Deva doing everything, she understood that she'd need to get things done on her own for the third one.

"I'll take the little drawing and stuff off once we get out of this story. No need to waste some time changing and getting my dress back in order when there's stuff that needs to be done." She'd say, focusing a spell to give herself a small aura of ice, not enough to chill Deva, but enough to make any living plants recoil and get out of the way or risk being frozen. Then she'd give a thumbs up back to Deva as she gathered all of her courage for taking charge of this whole thing. She'd raise an eyebrow when Deva decided to shout into the cave, shrugging a bit after she was done. "Fair enough... Probably should've expected something like that. I guess that's another part of getting them to focus in on us? Or was that actually to get them panicking when they think that all the time they once thought they had was up?" She'd ask with legitimate interest, not upset that Deva would do something like that, especially because she just inherently trusted that it was some part of the angel's plans. Once she got to the entrance of the cave, the vines would start to shirk away from the aura of cold that Isa was giving off, and once they created enough room to walk through, she'd create an arch of ice to keep them from growing back into place, allowing Deva to follow in behind her. After which she'd stop with the aura of cold because it would drain her a little to keep that going.

The inside of the cave was a little overgrown, however no plant would reach out after the two of them, the plants seeming more like basic plants that were growing without any influence in the cave. Nothing would jump after them, and there wouldn't be any sort of monster stopping them from walking deeper into the cave. However, as they got further and further in they'd begin to hear two voices, one being the same voice that they had heard through the plants from earlier, the other would sound like the hair obsessed person from the villainous meetings. "You do realize that if Mistress finds out that you're breaking up love to break a story, you'll be in A LOT of trouble. She despises such an act, and even I must admit that there's quite a lot of beauty in love." "Well that's quite an IF then isn't it? She ordered us to destabilize the story as best we could. I'm doing my part, and as long as she doesn't know then nothing will come of it... right?" "Yes, yes. I don't have plans of telling her that, of course. I just warn you that if she finds out I will NOT be covering for you in any way. Valuable as you may be to Her, if Mistress is upset at you I don't wish to put my own neck on the line. A scar on this perfect neck is too much to bear. Either way, the Angel needs to be dealt with, which is why I've taken some time to be here with you, and brought along a special little gift... They should be arriving here any minute now." "Well then, how about we capture her as well, and that way Mistress will be pleased no matter what. I'm sure that she'll be happier to have her captured than she will be upset about 'love' being destroyed." "I wouldn't be too sure about that..." And eventually they'd reach a wide open cavern area, with an opening in the ceiling that would allow direct sunlight in. Flowers would be growing in the sunlight, all the ones that Deva had seen in Mulj's house, and two figures would be standing in the sunlight...

MlDLL9Zm.jpg
OX2S3XBm.jpg

One was a female dryad, standing in the sun and holding one of her flowers with a sinister smile, looking at the figure that was standing with her, the person that she had been talking to. The other was a cloaked figure... apparently these people really loved their 'mysterious cloaks'. But this cloak was completely white, and from the look of it, the figure was actually a male despite the strange voice that they had. Both of them would turn to look at the cave entrance, the dryad smirking at the ice mage."Well now... it seems that our guests have arrived. Or at least one of them..." "Hmph... I would prefer you skip this part... If this goes on too long we may end up getting pollen in my hair and on my clothes or something..." With that, the dryad would raise a hand, causing vines to slide down from the roof opening, slowly starting to reach down and try to grab at Isa.

Deva grinned at the fuzzball comment. "I know, right!" She nodded, satisfiedly at her correct guess about the two meeting, peering over the goo-girl information. Still retroactively feeling bad for Limone, and glad she fixed things.

"Clever planning that isn't entirely planning? Pfff.. I'm caught, I improvise like half of the things. Then again, if you get good enough at improvising few can tell the difference to planning." She nodded. "Good. If you weren't expecting any of this, much less was the enemy. Unbalance is a good weapon.. dun worry, I'm right behind you, call me Training-wheels." Deva whistled.

"Heh." She at least, seemed to approve of the terrible pun.

"Heyyy-ooo.. oh that? These plants follow our movements, we lost the moment of suprise, so best approach is either them underestimating us for being boastful, or misjudging us to be scared." Deva jutted out a thumb towards one of the plants.

Deva rushed in after Isa, secretly wishing she had a drink to chill with her at the icy aura. She did seem to approve of the nonviolent approach. "Very considerate." She fought an innate urge to lick the ice for a brief moment, a bad jugement call of course.

The angelblood carefully watched the plants in the cave, until she got to listen up to the voice, tilting her head. "Two. perhaps I need to get more active, then again, bad lottery lot." Deva chuckled. "Well well well, throwing me for a loop. I'll do a bit of the talkies, alright?" Deva chuckled, stepping forwards, to be roughly by Isas side.

"So! Interesting talk we got to listen in on, for example, apparently your mistress doesn't peek through all of you, but any of you. I don't like fighting unknowns. So.. how about we two sit this one out. You wont get involved, I wont either. Isa? Lot of moisture in this cave, nice, isn't that?" She indicated towards the white cloak, a hand slipping in her poket, whilest at the same time dropping a hint for Isa, looking at the cavern ceiling. "Remember those ice-glasses you nicely made for me? Great display of precision work over raw power. Of course, if you combine power and precision thats when you get to boast about. Those weren't reading glasses, actually. To be good at that, you'd have to create slightly bend glasses. You know, like a magnifying glass." She chatted Isa up, before focusing on the white cloak, taking a step to the dryads flank and towards the cloaked one.

"Hello, I'm Deva... but you seem to have expected us?" Her mind was a storm of possiblities and strategies. It wasn't that she needed to come up with a plan, Deva would claim all possible plans were already in her head, the problem was narrowing things down to the one best suited for this situation.. and to that end, her hand gripped around the handle of Limones hand-mirror. The cloaked one had gone on about beauty a few times now. Usually those type had one weakness... Well, two.

"Good taste in clothes at least I got to say. Bit too totale blanca for my tastes with the hood and all. Hard to keep 'em this white through adventuring, but makes for a good challenge." She closed her eyes for a moment, a false display of carelessness of course. "To keep your clothes white like this during conflict, you need constant maintenance.. or to make sure nothing can even touch you." ironic, considered her right sleeve was still a bit red-stained from her .. disagreement with the window earlier. "So what would you say,.. are you high maintenance?" Deva grinned a little from under her hat.

(p.s. white-cloaks writing can only be read if marked. Perhaps switch over to another.. :p)

"Oh wow, didn't even notice those kinds of plants, I guess I was so focused on looking out for those other types of flowers that I completely missed those ones. I suppose that's a good thing to remember, pay attention to all the plants around me rather than just the ones that I already know about." Isa would mention now that she noticed there was absolutely no way for the two of them to have the element of surprise against their opponents.

"For all I know, these plants were just commandeered by whatever is further inside. Better I not destroy them when they very well could be innocents being controlled, kind of like Mulj earlier." Plants were alive too, of course, so they were something that she'd at least be careful of and keep herself from hurting so long as she could help it. "I may not be able to do that every time I end up fighting plants, but I'll always try for an option like this rather than just trying to brute force everything." She'd explain, looking around at the cave walls now that they had made it inside, listening as well to the conversation from the two inside. Two opponents to focus on would be far more challenging, and she was thankful that Deva at least agreed that she'd do the talking as the dryad and the cloaked man would both turn to look at Deva, the dryad smirking as she was expecting the angel to show up some time soon.

"Well, if you must know, we can choose when we allow Mistress to see through us, and right now neither of us think it's all that necessary. Besides, she's quite busy with some other things, so there's no need for us to distract her with these petty issues... Very well, I suppose that I'll accept your little deal there. I'm sure that my ally will have no problem dealing with yours, and afterwards you can deal with the two-on-one problem yourself..." The cloaked man would say, sounding more than confident in the Dryad's ability to defeat an ice mage. Unfortunately, Isa wasn't the best at figuring out hints, only knowing that the moisture in the air meant that her ice magic would be rather useful for her. Though bending ice like a magnifying glass... part of her had an idea on what to do there, but that would likely harm the dryad way more than she felt she wanted to right now. "Hmph... Here I am preparing to face the angel that took on Priselia, and now all I have to worry about is your simple companion? It's almost as though you are TRYING to give us the victory. Ah well, I won't complain too much about you making my job far easier than I had assumed that it would be." The Dryad would say, arrogance in her voice as she spoke, clearly not the least bit threatened by Isa, or at least she thought that the mage posed no real threat against her.

"Well, unfortunately now doesn't seem like the proper time for me to introduce myself, beauty needs to wait for proper timing after all..." "I however, am Azalea Cloverleaf, avatar of the power and malice of nature... And now humble servant of Mistress. Soon you'll be praising both of those names as your wonderful saviors..." She'd then wave her hand, one of the vines lunging at Isa, who would then freeze it, causing the vine to stop in its tracks, though it wouldn't die, it would just get encased in some tough ice to break through. That was actually less exhausting than trying to freeze the plant solid, as it used far less ice. "Clever... I've made quite a few preparations in the short time that you two gave me... How about I show you one of them..." Azalea would lift her hand up, a flower growing in her palm, and then she'd blow towards it, releasing a huge cloud of pollen into the room, which would likely spread through the room if nothing could stop it yet. "Oh for goodness sake! Didn't I JUST say that I didn't want any of your pollen making its way onto my clothes and into my hair?! AARGH! You're lucky I don't walk out right now and leave this whole mess to you!" The cloaked figure would shout angrily as he saw the pollen starting to move through the air.

"Well thank you, your clothes are rather beautiful as well, Ms. Deva. And thank goodness SOMEONE HERE understands the difficultly with keeping white clothes white." He'd look at the mirror that Deva was using, wondering what she was planning on doing, and also quite happy that a mirror was there. As mirrors were one of his absolute favorite things in the world, one step below himself actually. "Oh I wouldn't call myself 'high-maintenance', I just think I'm one of the only person that takes the RIGHT amount of maintenance. For example, the red stain on your dress would infuriate me so much that I'd need to change or clean it off as soon as possible." He would explain, not trying to go after Deva considering that he had already agreed with her offer of not getting involved in this fight, simply having polite conversation with the angel as the pollen would begin to spread through the room...

(Changed white cloak's coloring... I miss text shadows and glows! :p )

"Wrong." She corrected Isa. "Pay attention to everything around you. What if this dryad comes from a place were they have plants looking like rocks. You have to consider every possibilty. You are right about the plants though." Deva smiled.

Deva smiled to her two opponents, focusing on the cloaked one, but saying nothing, perhaps remembering Isa of what Deva had just said, completely ignoring the veiled provocations. She did respond to the dryad though. "You shouldn't understimate Isa." She said, crossing her arms.

"Interesting." Deva lifted her arm, looking at her sleeve. "You have sharp eyes. But why do you think so low of Priselia? Anyway, cleaning if it bothers you.." Deva chuckled, before turning to the Dryad, covering her sleeve and whispering a simple spell to clean her sleeve up.

"Azalea, natures avatar of Malice. Does sound impressive. Also, like an oxymoron. This malice is not something innate in nature, malice is something that humans observe about nature. It takes another morality to ascribe something upon nature.
So, no wonder you are so weak."
Deva mused. "If you were the Avatar of lifes struggle, The avatar of wildness itself, the aspect of nature that struggles to survive no matter what, we'd have a fight at our hands. You are just nature as viewed from human eyes." Deva chuckled. "Take it from one who once pursued the path of a druid.. thats pretty weak. But hey, as soon as you dealt with Isa you can prove me wrong, eh?" Deva watched the approaching cloud of pollen, actually leaning forward to take a swift smell, before fluffing her right wing open, twirling her finger in the air indicating a circle and chanting: " "

Leaning back, and being engulfed in a wall of defensive gusts, blowing too strong for any cloud of polen to penetrate, whilest Deva made thoughtful sniffing noises. "Anyway, I'm certain Isa would show mercy if you packed up your things and left, she's pretty heroic. But hey don't mind me, lil dryad, I'm just an observer. Then again, keep talking to me if you wanna see something.. cool." Deva grinned.

(Deva is gripping the mirror in her poket, not having quite revealed it yet. Text is better though, but yeah. *shrugs*)

"Good point... If a world can be nothing but slime people then a world can be rock plants... Problem is that it's hard to watch out for just about everything, and it might even cause me to miss the more obvious stuff in front of me. I'll try my best to keep track of it all though." Isa would explain, not having as much experience when it came to preparing for any possible scenario. Though she definitely agreed that she'd need to at least be a little more vigilant, as you could never know what advantages your opponent had over you.

"I'm not underestimating her... I think that the two of you may be underestimating me if you think that an ice mage is enough to deal with the power of nature." Though as she said that, one of the plants that were creeping up on Isa would get frozen without her even having to look at it, showing that she had some pretty good situational awareness. Which in turn aggravated the dryad even further, as she had hoped such a technique of distraction would be useful to her.

"I have an eye for beauty, and blemishes that might mar that beauty. As for Priselia... multiple reasons really. First of all, she's a failure that couldn't even handle you. Second of all, her blind devotion gets in the way of so many things, and third of all, the 'dark queen' look is out of date and she NEVER listens to my beauty tips..." He'd explain, having a few more reasons to dislike Priselia, but not wanting to elaborate on it any further. "Ah, it doesn't bother me as much when the stain is on YOUR clothes. You see, I can't really expect anyone to live up to my standard of beauty, so a simple stain can't be helped on an average person such as yourself." But he wouldn't really complain any further when Deva used a spell to clean it off, actually being very familiar with that type of magic since he tended to use it all the time to help keep his outfits clean.

"Oh? And do you know that I come from a world where nature DOESN'T hold malice towards the creatures that use and abuse it with reckless abandon? Nature is malevolent, nature is violent and powerful, nature is cold and cruel, merciless, and powerful. I am the bitter truth that many try to hide from, I am the power of nature, along with every bit of destruction that it can cause. You can call it weak if you so wish, but when nature overwhelms your every sense and takes control back, you will know the true power of nature's unending malice." Azalea had been made just a little angry over the idea that nature had 'no malice' when she herself was the personification of that. Though she wasn't being entirely honest, as in her world nature worked the exact same as it did in just about every other world. Others had just viewed it as evil and powerful, and as such that belief strengthened and strengthened before Azalea was eventually created as the personification of that strongly held belief. It was the same process that went to creating Gods in some stories, when people believed in something strongly enough, it would eventually get willed into existence. The pollen that Deva inhaled would smell far stronger, headier, sweeter than it had in Mulj's house. It was... wonderful, and Deva might find herself wanting another smell, just a little more wouldn't hurt, would it? Isa was faring no better, holding her breath as much as she could to keep it out, focusing on cooling the air around her to hinder the pollen as she sent an ice bolt straight at the dryad, which would be blocked by a sudden chunk of wood flying out of the ground to block it, freezing over once it was hit.

"Now now, I thought the agreement was that we wouldn't do anything to alter this battle? Wind changes the amount of pollen in the air, or at least redistributes it, I would consider that interrupting in some form..." But, he'd merely put his hands up and shrug, waving one of them to cast a strange spell that would ensure that Deva's wind magic couldn't extend to Isa, meaning that she'd still be caught in a bit of pollen as she tried to fight, but no wind would blow MORE pollen at her either, as though the cloaked figure wasn't even trying all too hard to help the dryad win. "Just in case, let's keep this fair, right? Don't want us to have too much of an effect on how things go down." He'd explain, and Deva would be able to tell that the magic that he was using was some form of holy magic, though the actual spells would seem just a bit different from the ones that she knew from her own world. Magic was one of the biggest shifting factors between stories, and very often it worked under different rules and different spells depending on where you were.

"Oh I doubt Isa will even find herself in a position to show me mercy... In fact, she already looks like she'd prefer to just sit down and relax, just take some time to smell the flowers... I'm sure she'd enjoy it so very much..." Isa would momentarily get distracted by that, the thought of doing so popping up in her mind before she'd shake it off a bit and refocus herself, trying not to get distracted by the dryad. "Unfortunate... Though it's only a matter of time before you can embrace the wonderful scent... Let me help you with that..." She'd produce another flower in her hand, and one in her other hand before cupping them both together and blowing into the both of her flowers, sending an even bigger cloud of pollen into the room, letting it disperse as well, smiling confidently as Isa also had to keep track of the plants coming after her around the room, and send some ice blasts after the dryad, trying to make Azalea eventually run out of her resources as well. The issue was, Azalea had been in this cave for weeks now, and had long made preparations for any sort of fight or invaders that she'd have to deal with, growing plants and defenses for this very moment.

(Oops... Didn't realize that! :p )

Deva had shrugged. She never found it hard to keep track of everything around her. She liked drinking in all sensations, all the beauty and ugliness of the world around her. After all, her opponents wanted to kill her or worse, so preparing for any possible approach they might take was simply common sense. She understood Isa was less experienced of course, but they'd learned a fair deal about this opponent, and there was no one in the immediate vicinity that was in danger. This was a good test.

"Thats the thing though. By definition, the power of nature means ice and frost as well, so why don't you also control those?" Deva left any remarks about cold-resistant plants unsaid, not to give her opponent any ideas.

"A failure that couldn't defeat me, hmn. That necessitates the question.. what will the others call you, after we are through here." Deva said, with a dangerous smile. "What'll you call yourselfs once I'm through with half or more of you? And why are you so sure Priselia was the first and only one of you?" Devas smile widened. "I do happen to like the evil queen look, though she was a bit peckish, I guess, yes. But thanks." Deva thanked the man for an additional piece of information, apparently not everyone could be as easily provoked as Priselia.

"I do think what I've seen so far could use a bit of a style advice, I mean,.. not that the whole 'I am MONDRAGON THE WORLDEATER, RAWRR!' approach isn't interesting, but such things only have impact if you.. I dunno, do it proper, no? I mean.. 'I'm the avatar of natures wrath' .. well duh, I can tell by the leaf-hair and the plants that oggle me when I whip my hip." Deva chuckled, shifting a bit like that, seeming to easily bond with the white cloaked one.. she didn't expect to be able to turn them against one another, but she'd never miss an opportunity presented before her like this. Plus, she already had prepared a plan to deal with this one. And two backup plans.

"Why do you think I don't meet your standards? I know the hat is a bit avant-garde, but its part of my whole concept." In truth, Deva wasn't all that impressive beauty wise, but she knew how to carry and present herself well. She also let a subtle tone sneak into her voice, a hint of uncertainty that wasn't really there, gently goading the other person into giving he advice, and through that, gived away more about his worldview. She didn't need to see her opponent to judge them. Her only concern was that this opponent, going by how they acted so far, had an ability that -necessitated- this cloaking up normally.

Deva looked over to the Dryad. "Ah, I see. So you're Vengeance. Oh ho ho, nature is about to get a lot colder if she keeps ignoring her opponent." Deva winked at the dryad. "You think I fear destruction? Destruction is power, without control." Deva nodded. "Thats why you let plants do your dirtywork, rather than summon the heat of a thousand summers to deal with Isa, isn't it? You -can't-. Because nature isn't malicious or cruel. You couldn't use such magic, because you'd also summon a thousand bountiful harvests and thats not part of the destruction." Deva shook her head, calmly testing the scent. Sadly, she couldn't inhale more without leaving the Windwall and she had to stay into the windwall to deserve more cupcakes next adventure.

Her mind immediatly reasoned. If anyone could read it, they'd be.. suprised by her odd kind of mental discipline, which really, was reward-replacement. "True, but I affect the battle only negatively towards my ally by marginally increasing the amount of pollen she is affected by, unless you want to punish me for it? This wind-wall will persist for a while, feel free to heroically rush through it and punish me, the worst it could do would be rustling your outfit.." Deva cooed, the smile never leaving her lips She raised a brow when, after thinking for a moment, she'd realize the spells nature. "Honorable." She mused.
Also, powerful. She worried. Far more controlled and subtle than the dryad.

"Alright.. I guess." Deva chuckled then. "I should stop trying to distract your companion with words then, however, if she responds to me, I guess that means she judges that disruption minutely. I guess cheerleading is allowed, eh?" She admitted, looking back over to the Dryad after realizing the nature of this magic. I thought you were a pride-demon, but it seems I wasn't quite accurate.

"I personally always found it interesting how prone people were to giving away things when trying to manipulate others, what do you think Isa? Exspecially when someone repeats certain things, they often give away the strength of their attacks and abilities, and in sharing what their abilities strength is.. they give away their own weakness." Deva, of course, realized the double mention of 'time' the dryad had slipped into, realized that Isa would do best unleashing her power fast and hard, but she couldn't outright say it.. for the sake of Isa's development into one that thought different of Deva, yet was ready to handle certain.. issues.

Deva mused briefly, if returning to her story would leave Isa with all this knowledge, if it was possible, or if she'd forget. That was the sad truth Deva would hide from Isa at all costs. It took a very special mind to .. resist forgetting things. Deva had traveled many, many places already before encountering the cloaked one, always confident in her identy and not regretting her past, perhaps this was really why she had been rather resilient, compared to many others. Perhaps it had been a helping of tomey. Deva shrugged, focusing on the cloaked one.

"But enough of this banter, serious talk. You serve the same mistress, but you seem to understand, certain actions must be answered for." She nodded, sitting down on the cavern ground, drawing a smiley upon it. "I'm trying really hard to find a reason for not being grouchy at what I've dealt with here, would you like to help me out?" Deva said, her smile fading away again. "Also. I'm curious on the magic you used. What was that? Because, the kind of magic you use isn't good at moving things about without rhyme or reason. I'd say it was.. equalizing magic." Deva smirked as she went on. "Just a theory, only seen it once after all, but.. that kind of magic you can't use in a 2on1. Infact, it might backfire spectacularly.." Her eyes wandered over to the dryad. She knew the cloaked one was too smart to be manipulated. She had seen the dryad having a different temper though.

"Do you plan to use it to deal with your ally if she were to win? You just used magic that weakened her position, so I don't think you want to fight me two on one either." She said, for the dryads purpose, not the cloaked ones or Isas. "And I thought I was the tricky one. Respects. If you knock her out, you can wash your hands clean of what happened here and deliver us to your mistress to earn her appreciation, without having to share it." Deva made sure to subtly lower her voice, making sure Azalea heard enough to grow interested, but at the same time had to focus on Deva, if she wanted to hear it all. It might sound as if Deva wanted to keep things between her and the white cloaked one.. but that was exactly how Deva -wanted- it to sound.

"Or am I a big dumb dumb that misunderstood how the spell you just used works?" Deva added, giving the cloaked one a chance to prove her wrong. Of course, to deny her accusal, he'd have to explain his powers. I wonder if you realize it. If you do, that'll give me interesting information too. The thirty-fifth, chain together the enemies warships, second to last and my favourite stratagem, linking the second, ninth and twelfth stratagem. Deva mused, working on her smiley.
