I could go into a long thing about how this works psychologically, but from a realistic standpoint the answer would be yes, it can very well indicate pedo behavior. It depends a lot on if the hentai/doujin is something more tame (panty shots, implied sex, softcore stuff) or if it's the real deal with graphic sex/rape/tentacles/etc.
