Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

If you had a check on my user CP, then you would know. I really do not like your mouth and I will love it if you tried to get some anger management, or some morning pills.

Since you cannot deal with criticism well, I feel the need not to have a reason to criticize. Good or bad. Your work is moot to me.

Protip: If I need to read your profile to know why you're in any way important, you're not in any way important.

You can prattle on all you like, you've made less of an impression on me for however long you've been here than a member who's only been posting for a few days. That really says a lot.

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

tl;dr
Inc suffers from . That is all.

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

any more off topic conversation here will be purged.

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

Hmm, it seems hettie has dissappeared in the confusion. I hope nooooobooody stoooooole heeeeerrr >.>

Everything's been uploaded to the same album, yes?

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

ANYWAY!
Since you're moving on to the music and stuff, does that mean that the game is close to a finish?

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

*rereads all that was said and growls lightly*

I apologize for my part in starting all of that, didn't realize that opinions amounted to terrorism for certain people.

*shuts up about it*

Hettie hasn't posted in a few pages, although I did want to ask one thing, just because I was a little curious, and this Q stems from me being newish: I thought that the project was only being done by Hettie, but Nunu's comment about a volume button indicates that he/she is also involved. Is there an actual list anywhere of the people involved in making Jungle Girl 2.0? How many people are contributing to it right now?

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

As far as I know Hettie is doing all the art and Nunu is programming it.

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

i'm a bit behind on programming really but given the complexity of the game i don't think it will take long when i do get round to it.

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

Alright.

Since so many of you have chosen to ignore Nunu's suggestion to fucking drop it, and many more have flooded my user CP with neg rep, fuck you guys. (One of the neg reps even called it constructive criticism. Maybe you should look up what constructive criticism means.)

I'm not going to give up my time writing music and then license it freely for a flash game when I'm being treated like this. Simple. There was someone else who started writing a track some time back, they can do music for all I care. Or just release it without music, I don't care, I'm done.

Apparently, an overwhelming number of people think I should just shut up and work and be happy about it. I'm not exactly sure how people can come to this opinion, other than because they just plain don't like, and am not actually thinking thing through. Or perhaps they really think that "tl;dr" is constructive criticism. Many of these people actually write text of varying quality, so I ask them how they'd feel if someone took the time to post under one of their stories, saying "tl;dr, I don't like reading stories about (subject)"

I know this falls on deaf ears, but allow me to go over my key points once more, so people who missed last night's drama can get a clear view from myself, rather than those intent on twisting everything I say.

  1. I basically never receive any positive feedback at all. No, I'm not getting offended because one person said something bad. I'm getting offended because no one ever does and I'm sick of it.
  2. Almost all of my negative feedback is NOT constructive, with the only thing constructive to date credited to Darkfire. If you search back through the thread, you'll see I acted very differently to that, made some modifications in line with what he addressed, and there was some back and forth discussion over whether or not it was an improvement.
  3. People would rather attack me for feeling unappreciated than apologise for offending me while I offer the community free work.
  4. Some people actually think that in the last two pages, there's been constructive criticism directed at me.
  5. People have ignored both of Nunu's suggestions to let things drop. When they can no longer post in this thread, they post in others, or just plain negrep me.

For the record, anyone who neg-reps him might as well neg-rep me too. This was a disagreement/misunderstanding between myself and Incubus, dragged out in a public place by the both of us, and it's not appropriate to shove all of the blame on him - to do so is childish and irresponsible.

I'm willing to bet that half of the people clogging his neg-rep box haven't even posted in this topic during this occurrence - bandwagon jumping is for noobs. Period. (I'm reasoning this because there's only been about three to four of us, not counting Nunu, and I haven't neg-repped him).

So, everyone, do what the admin told you to do, and do what the right thing is to do, and fucking drop it. And put the blame where the blame is due: all around.

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

Can someone repost the music though? I didn't get to hear it before it was removed, I want to give it a chance.

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

I still have the midi file, but seeing as Incubus removed it, I'd rather wait for his permission to give it out again.

I've heard that flash is pretty easy to code. Are there free versions of flash out there that someone could play with because isn't Flash really expensive? There must be something out there for so many people to make flash games and stuff.

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

Pretty much one word can sum it up

Piracy

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

Yar....

Well since I am too much of a chicken to even download most of the stuff that is posted on here, looks like I'm screwed lol.

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

This mud fight amuses me.

Now I am bored.

What's next on the task list?

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

Making sure Hettie doesn't disappear =P

Re: Possible Remake of Jungle Girl

Maybe this will make people forget about the whole arguing thing.
