Kind of. Expert chefs would cook cuisines to create monsters that arise from the recipes to do battle. It didnt last very long, but i loved the idea while it lasted.

More along a Monster Rancher Yu-Gi-Oh hybrid... Less collection more I want to make the strongest Foodon...
Even had the voice actor for Joey Wheeler for "Sphagettaboutit" A commonly appearing Foodon
But basicly it was A chef cooks a food puts a magic card on it and it comes to life as a kung fu fighting food based monster... From godzilla sized Beefsteak sandwhiches to a man of fried rice it was... An interesting show...

It really was, and i thought it had allot of potential personally. However, it died rather fast. I guess it didn't appeal to kids. Also, i loved Monster Rancher and Its Video game series, i still Think we Need more Monster Rancher today, since you can use a various ammount of video game CD's to create monsterss.
