Re: Revival of the Ancient Terror (Mira)
With a struggle, Mira's claws slowly cut through the armor like thick cheese, the pilot of the mech responding simply by chuckling, directing his other hand towards Mira, quickly charging up a blast before she could escape, and releasing a blast of fire onto her, and his own hand that she was attached to. The hand itself was damaged badly beyond use, while Mira was hit full force, causing her to fly back in a slow arc through the air, before landing with a thud on the ground.
Spots of her flesh were black, burned from the attack. And her whole body would ache with pain, while the Magi laughed over her. "Burnt to hell!" he commented on her condition. "A lesson learned too late, monster! Ya never stood 'ah chance against tha Magi!"
Alice, now laying on the ground from where the machine had dropped her in favor of attacking Mira, shifted groggily. Her head slowly raised to see a defeated looking Mira laying on the ground. Her white glow gone, and her body injured. When Alice would reach out with her hand, palm open in longing, tears of desperation in her eyes.
"Fatalis..." she called out in a raspy voice, crawling towards where Mira lay. She repeated that name, over and over, the Magi watching her curiously as she crawled pathetically along the ground, until she could crawl no more, still too far away to reach the very dragon she brought this fate upon. And in a final bid of defiance for fate's will, screamed at the top of her lungs for the fatalis to get up, and fight.
