Well if that had been the result it unlikely it would have been the result of one particular post, but rather a handfull of ppl's posts. And your specifically imo was pretty obvious that it was in jest really, so really doubt that would cause something like that.
 
im probaly the only one that constatly checking the progress hoping to see even a 1% progress
 
How about you stop bumping the thread and let translator post update whenever it's ready? pleeease 😌
 
Yeah please... it is time for and update when the translater is ready to post on update, he/she is doing it in their spare time for free.
So stop asking for updates, or the start of the last update post might actually end up being true...
 
You are right.
This is bad if you put pressure on a person. Or he will be glad to know that after a month people are also waiting for his work. He will know that his work is important. Am I mistaken?

Offering encouragement or as you said, letting him know that you're excited for a release is fine.
That's not what you did. What you did is simply nagging. It's annoying and childish. You literally asked the equivalent of "are we there yet???" or "are you done yet???"

October Status Update

Status (10-1-2019)
Story Translation: 100%
Story Editing: 100%
H-Scene Translation: 100%
H-Scene Editing: 85%

Nearing the end of the translation, read the two spoilers below for a further discussion on two topics I wanted to address.

Remaining Tasks till Release
1) Finish editing the remaining H-Scenes.
2) Edit UI images
3) Playtesting
4) Go through ticket list of changes I need to make and fix errors found during playtesting.
5) Package final text and images into a release patch.

Why is it taking so long?
Poor planning + Apathy + Being busy IRL

Do you even know Japanese? English?
My Japanese level is somewhere between beginner and intermediate. I made this translation by using my own Japanese knowledge + JParser + the best 5 machine translators. (Done through Translator Aggregator)
I also put a lot of TLC into it to make sure that I wasn't missing the intended meaning of lines and made sure that they all use correct English that flowed well. I'm a native English speaker so hopefully at least what I translated reads well.

Is this going to translate everything from the game?
The first patch I release will have almost everything translated. There will be roughly 20 in-game dialogue lines out of the 14000 that won't be translated due to me not being able to translate them without losing the entire meaning of what they said. I'm going to leave them untranslated for now and go back to them once I can get some help from someone who knows Japanese better than me.

The other thing that won't be translated on release is the monster lore/flavor text located in part of the UI. I'll get to them in a future patch, they're pretty much irrelevant to actual gameplay and story.

When is the release date?
Best Case: End of Oct
Worst Case: End of Nov
I Died Case: End of Dec

considering 65% to 85% is +20%

so i expected from 85% to 100% end of oct 😋

That would be neat! But there's more than just the rest of the editing, so I'm going to be patient. I already feel trolled by the progress on the Zero no Kiseki hitting '100%' (editing), but that's how it goes. After some of the other stuff I've played lately (and though I do appreciate the effort!), quality is worth the wait.
 
i wonder thou if you die how will you release at the end of december lol will you get out of your grave just to finish the translation
 
Amazing work! I so look forward to when you can complete it, I am sure we can all wait for you. I for one am very grateful for the time you have put into this for others to enjoy. :)
