See the way I see while yes its good to support the dev.I don't justify them acting like douchebags just because I was not born on Japan plus,let's be real this is the internet.
Very few care about morals while someone decides to not share something for what ever reason,there are people who will share it anyways morally correct or not,hell there are uploaders who make a living uploading stuff to get add revenue, so I think it makes no difference it will get shared anyways,piracy has been alive since I can remember(im 45) been using internet for more then 20 years and it wont ever dissapear, I dont blame people for doing so because not everyone has money to buy stuff or has the right tools to buy stuff.I think people are not justifying it but look at it this way why bother buying his game if he still going to treat people like crap? and whine even though some of us are willing to spend our hard earned money on his game to support him, also keep in mind I contacted him before his game was shared and was still a douchebag to me.The dev is just hostile to non japanese but anyways like I said I'm buying this new game to support him so he keeps making games I like his work but thats the only reason if not for that I would not bother with a rude Dev like him.That's if he puts it in English dlsite,I wont bother if he puts it in the japanese dlsite I don't understand it for anything and once bought a game multiple times so at that time I was like nope im done using sites I dont understand what I am doing.
If we want this situation to be realistic lets put it like this not everyone is going to buy his game some will Pirate it and not everyone is going to pirate the game some will buy it ,
so looking at the sitution he should be like another Dev circles for example there is a circle that goes by the name Happypink the Dev is nice to non japanese people tries to answer questions with his little to none english skills
even though he knows some pirate his game but it attracts buyers like me to keep buying his game some of his games have almost 200 downloads on english dlsite which is a lot for the english site, so the best route Lowrentzca can take is be friendly to all the people gain as much good reputation as you can and there will be more and more buying your game and the people with less money or that cant buy it let them pirate ignore it focus on the good and not the bad like Lowrentzca is doing he is scaring away the people who are willing to support him with his attitude and hostile behavior towards people who where just not lucky enough to be born in japan.
This reminds me of a circle by the name of Konbuni his attitude was similar to Lowrentzca hated gaijins blocked them etc but after a long time he realised that his game got shared regardless so he started being nice to gaijins and look at him now while his games do get shared he now has loyal gaijin buyers and he is making much more money then when he was hostile to gaijins,he even made a post saying sorry to gaijins and thanking the loyal gaijin buyers.
