So, despite my many failures to start stuff, I now have ample time, and only one class this semester which once I am finished, I can finally graduate.

Premise:

Futuristic/Sci-fi Post Apocalyptic Setting where humans have moved off Earth to respective colonies within the solar system, with each country of Earth maintaining their own set of colonies. The move to the colonies was not triggered by the lost of natural resources on Earth, rather, it was due to the invasion of an unknown origin which made retreating to the existing colonies, many of which were originally meant to only support a few hundred as a testbed, the choice of action.

Mechas in this setting were developed for their diversity, with many that were able to quickly adapt to both zero-gravity combat as well as usefulness on Earth's terrain, usually supported by various other combat vehicles. They also proved to be a means for the different countries to show off their power to each other, each threatening the other in a grab for the resources in the solar system, and due to the nature of this, different countries developed their own style of mecha (To be explained upon once I'm not writing this at 1am in the morning).

In the current time period, it has been around three decades since the mass migration of humanity into space, the players will have the choice of either playing one of the humans born in the colonies, one of the humans born before the migration, or even some biologically engineered characters (think monster girl races) with the explanation that some scientists started to get really bored after the migration.

I'll probably hammer out the stat system I have in some notes at the moment tomorrow, and if interests shows, I can probably get started by the week.

Each player will have stats for their characters on personnel level (outside the mech) and for their mechas derived from different parts that will be available to the player, as well as customizations by the players.

Oh, and there will be sex, and rape. Lots of rape (On the personnel level). And also, possibly, the opportunity for players to play as the invaders, if there is interest in that.

Anyway, I'll add more stuff tomorrow if there's interest.

Re: Sci Fi/Mecha Something

Aww, I can't rape their mechas and get my dick torn off in some kind of geartooth vagina-dentata?

Mech customization is always fun, I want the stompiest mech.

Re: Sci Fi/Mecha Something

That sounds interesting on a few levels. Playing as the invaders sounds really interesting, depending on what exactly they're like.

Re: Sci Fi/Mecha Something

Damn it, loli! Does this mean I cannot become gender swapped Megaman!? I have to board a gundam to actually be threatening!?

I may allow P-scale mechas if there is interest, the main problem would probably be balancing since as a P-scale mecha, you wouldn't be able as tanky as regular sized stuff.

Interest and curiousity get. :)
Just hope the rules aren't as accountant heavy as Mekton Zeta, as enjoyable as I found it.

Re: Sci Fi/Mecha Something

I definitely have interest in it, but it's as you say, a single bro in armor isn't as tough as a bro inside DAT GUNDAM DERP.

Your dodge would likely be retardedly high though.

I'm going to borrow here and there from other systems, but for the most part, I'm going to write a few calculators for myself to quickly do all the heavy math, if i do have any heavy math (going to try my best to simplify stuff). The players themselves only need to keep track of how much money they have, and what they want to upgrade.

Re: Sci Fi/Mecha Something

Sounds like something I could get behind. If there's space, I'm in.

Re: Sci Fi/Mecha Something

Nunu tried running a similar mecha game long ago if I remember right. Seemed to be going places before it was stopped. I can definitely put my support behind this.

Re: Sci Fi/Mecha Something

I like mecha quite a lot. Consider me interested!

Re: Sci Fi/Mecha Something

Mbien.

Re: Sci Fi/Mecha Something

I love mechs, so I'm interested. Can I be a futanari of some sort to rape people with, or get raped by people? :D

Either way is fine with me. But if not, then yeah I'm still interested in maybe trying it out.

Re: Sci Fi/Mecha Something

Lot of interest in this. Think I'll join the bandwagon. Sounds like it could be fun :)

Re: Sci Fi/Mecha Something

Alright, I have the backbone of the system hammered out, so, quick question, how many people here would be interested in playing as the invaders? Whether it be one of the original invaders or a character that was once on the human's side and shifted over?

Re: Sci Fi/Mecha Something

That'd depend on the invaders. What they look like, their social structure, etc.

Well, for now, deciding it's a mix between an AI going haywire, and alternate dimensional beings. Their plan is to subjugate as much as they can of the humans/androids/cyborgs/etc, and although they tend to take total control of those they consider lesser (Unnamed NPCs in terms of mechanics sake) they do allow degrees of freedom for some, and quite a bit of freedom for those that willingly join, provided that they do not act in a counterproductive way.

Re: Sci Fi/Mecha Something

*raises hand, grins*

Re: Sci Fi/Mecha Something

I'll play either side. Are you planning on having us all be on one side? or were you thinking of having two (or more) different groups?
