I am gonna throw in my cents and tell you guys all about Slime and melting girls in my theory!
You see, if Slimes does take nutrients by melting most of everything around them, then technically they can melt everything and they will be well off so that should be no need to go after prey like women which will be much harder to catch etc. But the other theory that turn other women into Slime girl doesn't quite make sense, why do they melt? This is my theory that if they do get turned into slime girl, the slime from the original slime girl changes the DNA of the human and reconstruct the human into a slime girl or if not just simply slime. And as no one had ever told us what becomes of those melting girls we can only abid by these 2 theory of turning into slime girl via DNA reconfig, or simply slime that the other slime girl can absorb.

It comes to mind that a forum founded from a love of tentacles isn't the best place to try and get a "normal version" of anything.

I rather like your options, but there is one major flaw in your theory that I cannot help but point out. In the same way you could not get nutrients out of eating dirt or grass, the slime may not get nutrients out of eating certain things, for example rock, metal, dirt or possibly even certain plants and animals. And that's even before we go into the realm of "She's a slime girl, who's to say there isn't some magic involved?", which gives you effectively infinite options as to why the other girl is being dissolved.
As for calling it vore, since someone is dissolving I would classify it as guro. I call something guro by the simple criteria of showing sex involving a disfigured person in a disgusting way, usually but not necessarily involving death or mutilation. Anyone looking at the slime pic can fairly clearly tell that it's gruesome and involves a dismembered if not dead creature in graphic detail, making it guro. (Yes, this means I would classify some amputee hentai as guro if the lack of their limb were emphasized to be graphic and disgusting. The same goes for exceptionally scarred people, such as those with large dents in their skull. Occasionally I end up adding severe stretching to this category as well, though there is a moderate suspension of disbelief regarding the damage being done to the victim's insides.)
Unfortunately, for all my technical debating, I have nothing picture-wise to add to this thread. I feel such shame... Slimes are awesome.

Guro for me is just porn with pain involved but cannot be sorted into S&M, Bondage, etc. So Slime would technically be counted as Guro but I can't put it in Guro because I am not seeing blood or anything disguesting that resembles Human (since they are turning into slime)... just my thoughts.
