also, instead of releasing patch 1.0a, I think it's better if the next patch you released is already in the latest of the current version at least (I think right now it's 1.14). Since there's a few new content there, various bugfix, etc, and most of all, it's not hard to upgrade the game version.

If I am reading things right you need to roll higher than a 90 on a rare chest or 99 in a fight to get an item from the rare item table. Your roll is (luck stat - 80) + Random number between 1 and 100 + 100 if you use a lucky clover.
The rare item table has 2 out of 5 items as relic by default and the more bosses you defeat the more often relic appears on the list. Hopefully that helps.

no, I mean you can slowly translating it, and also is it really that much? I don't really know since what I see briefly from the change notes is mostly bugfixes and added the nurse scene to the frozen basement (I think the scene from the memory when you reach the true ending). Well since SNStep doing all this for free without any payment, and he's doing this because he likes this game so I can only hope he will translating it way to the latest version sooner or later.

Maybe you can try playing it safe by using the character you use when you beat them (In my case it's the same character I used to get each main succubus real form for that map)?

If you want to replay the first encounter, they'll show up in the Time-Frozen Basement. If you mean their second encounter, those happen later in the game, if you fulfill certain conditions:
Make each of the story bosses reveal her true form, and satisfy her, complete all the first Notorious encounters, complete the optional encounters with the delinquent and the nurse in the Clubhouse, and Mnemosyne (and satisfy them), and see the cutscene connected to the Mysterious Letter, then finish the endgame boss rush. Doing so unlocks the true ending route, which will unlock the 2nd encounter with each Notorious (and said encounters are mandatory for making it to the true ending).

Barring unforeseen circumstances, the update is coming; I'm already working on it. Unfortunately, as Strange has noted, there's not really a simple way to do it. It's either a matter of going through every single file and finding where the code changed, and updating the code in the translated files version, or going into the new Japanese files, and re-pasting all the translated code into those. Given that some of the code is messy (and not my forte), the latter is the only reasonable way for me to do things. And while the "hard part" of actually writing the English text is done (mostly...there's still some re-writing going on for various reasons), it's a lot of stuff to piece through, for better or worse.
The amount that was changed doesn't really factor in, essentially, because with either method, the entire code has to be gone over with a fine-toothed comb a second time, and because I really want to make sure work is of worthy quality.
Some food for thought, at the very least. The reference back to SQ is helpful (same to any other references to other works, such as with the Notorious, where previous original works or translations might have used different terms...I did various searches to try and get stuff consistent, but some of this stuff is kinda niche).

The level of cruelty those piece of shit assholes succubus had in this story was so great this game earned a top spot in my most hated hentai games ever, they are balancing together at first place in the podium with the whores of Domina, at least all bitches in Domina were writen to be absolutely hate inducing without trying to lie to you about their nature, while this game paints the story as some sort of Tragic Romance?!?!? Utter hypocrisy!
Wasted 15 hours of my life to clear everything in this, and other than a half chub from mnemosyne, the only girl worth a damn in the entire game, every single other woman in this trainwreck left me flaccid the entire way, they upped the ante even for the notorious ones, most of which are absolute murder hobbos in their own series, but in here they reached the feat of being even more murder hobbos
The only worthwhile experience for me in this entire thing was the soundtrack other than that will never touch a SQDT game again is this is their level of writing, if the entire purpose was making the player hate succubus in porn games, they got it with flying colors.
Thanks for the english patch, at least you saved my future me of experiencing what present me did today if he had to wait until the final patch released on f95
It really sounds like you should have stopped playing about 15 hours ago. If you feel like something isn't for you, you don't need to finish it out. Succubi aren't necessarily supposed to be nice, and you are definitely not supposed to like most of them.

i am a completionist and completionism is my curse, and i concur they aren't supposed to be nice, but the utter psychopatic cruelty, or sociopathic apathy the succubus in this game exhibit, make the trio from tokinokogiri succubus prison look vanilla in comparison, and those 3 were the greatest examples of succubus that are despicable psychopatic murder hobos for years, then comes SQDT and surpassed them by a margin so great, i look back at those 3 and feel they had warmth and kinship for their own MC.

I'd ask why you didn't try the first two games and Succubus Rhapsodia, which was pretty much a love letter to SQDT before they revived, but if you did play those then you would definitely get the wrong idea since succubi aren't explicitly out to 'kill' you the way they are in this game. I mean holy fuck the bridge section in the track grounds wasn't something I expected.

Her entire plan was to ensure that the player character (all of them, in a way) actually could rest in peace. While her motives are left vague (Revenge? Compassion? Just doing her job? A mix of emotions of her own, to the point she's not entirely sure?), ultimately, the point was to more or less save him from that karma loop.
And in double fairness to a previous comment, he was stuck in that loop because he was kinda the biggest murderhobo of all. The Succubi weren't particularly bad in that regard, IMO, in as much as just...differently-moralled, though that's admittedly gonna be more a matter of opinion, and not everyone's gonna go for that.

So her plan of salvation is literally fragmenting his soul, then sending them to die to succubus for ages because of his supposed karma, breaking them to the point the soul can't fight back anymore in later incarnations if you give meaning to the stances, where even the hero path strongest move is surrendering, to finally at the very end give the original guy the "salvation" she wants unilaterally, which just happens to be forcing you to finish the job and disconnect from all other fragments of your soul by damaging them until they disperse before she kils them herself "killing you" with massive recoil damage and restarting the cycle of pain and suffering all over. Or you succed in it, and after losing all fragments of your soul, you finally drop back from a conceptual existence to a mortal once again since you did it "willingly" and she's finally able kill and "save you" in the most hypocrite romance scene that i've ever seen, which the writer tries to pass as a tragedy and that she always cared and had romantic feelings for you???? BULLSHIT This Death is one the most impartial Death in all fiction, focusing so much effort in this one guy and instead of being open about it and her plan to save him, she prefers to jab, insult and joke at his expenses in all of his lives, and sacrificing many others who had nothing to do with them according to her dialogue with the gravedigger when they escape to another world to not be noticed by "something"

And if you consider the conceptual nature of the Dream the Succubi and what you need to do with the notorious ones, even after she "saves" the main character, he won't have any rest, because from what the big dogs imply just from a Succubus remembering a person strongly enough he will be part of that world, and at least 4 of his fragments turned into denizens of the nightmare after dying to the notorious ones after satisfying them. So her salvation falls flat because they still exist out there still as conceptual beings, but separated instead of existing as one entity
