Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"It would be preferable if you came with me. The car is outside, waiting for departure. And please, don't assume you need to be running from something. If it comes to that sort of situation, the security force will sacrifice themselves to the last man if that's what is necessary to keep the guests unharmed. Doubly so when it is a personally invited guest of the Mistress." the guy replied, putting the message out that Adelle would be looked after with no regards as to what it might take. As she made mention of the trip to Rose, the guy intervened again. "That is another unnecessary matter. While the invitation to the meeting doesn't necessarily extend to your companion, she too is free to come along. The house will see to her possible needs while you take care of the business with the Mistress. Whatever she might desire, it will be provided if it is of a reasonable nature. She only needs to ask, and I will personally see that it is done to her satisfaction."

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"I see... well then, lemme finish my drink. And in that case, Rose, would you like to come with me?" Adelle replied, glancing over at Rose and seeing if she minded coming on with her, where she'd down her drink and pay for it all, before heading on out, stopping by to whisper to Samson where she was heading on her way out.

Once outside, she'd hop in the car, helping Rose in as well, and sitting back to relax for the ride.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"That is pleasing to hear, miss. I'll be right outside, come when you are done but don't be too long now." the guy said before taking his leave, this allowing Adelle to do what she wanted to before going out with Rose, who was looking awkward again but was doing it anyway to get accustomed to these things.

Outside, a massive luxury sedan was waiting, a Mercedes Maybach painted to a deep, dark red finish. The man was there too, holding the door open to the coming ladies. The inside was just as massive as the car itself, looking like something from a limo in a slightly smaller and one-sided scale, with tinted windows and beige leather furnishings. For Adelle it was natural to get in, but the man had to assist Rose, who was big even for a car like this. Despite that, he made sure that she was as comfortable as she could, collapsing the back of the seat down so the large girl could recline on it instead of being forced to sit in an awkward, bent-over sitting position and possibly poking holes into the roof leathers with her horn. "Help yourselves to the fridge if it is your pleasure. And call me on the mic if there is something you want to ask." the man would say to them, pointing out the cold storage and the intercom before closing the door.

After a bit, the car moved up, starting the trip to the brothel/hotel/restaurant/nightclub place. If Adelle checked the minifridge, she would find some small sample bottles of red wine, champagne and other alcoholics along with a small selection of sweet and salty varieties of pastries. It was a fairly thought-out luxury ride, that much was for sure.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Heading out after a couple of minutes, Adelle saw the car out front and hopped inside, smiling as she sat down inside and closing the door. "Thank you kindly, sir," Adelle replied when they'd gotten Rose in, and he said to use the fridge.

She looked inside the fridge and pulled out a bottle of the wine to pour herself a drink, sipping at it as she relaxed in the car. "Want anything Rose?" Adelle asked softly, as they rode along, staring out the window as they went to see what all there was to see.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"I guess... I could try something..." Rose agreed to taking something from the fridge, somehow managing to reach in and pinch grip two different pastries out from there with a single attempt. The things went into her mouth without too much ceremony, the size of them making it easy for the large girl to eat both at the same time. The alcohol she did not touch, probably being a little too cautious of the stuff and trying to get the bottles with her level of dexterity.

The car did not move too quickly, so the girls got some time to enjoy whatever they wanted while looking out to the city, which was still not showing any real signs of a looming gang war. Soon, the ride was over, the man coming out to open the door again and helping Rose out of the car before setting the seat back up and seeing to Adelle as well. A few other dudes were around the doors nearby, the raised tensions between the crime lords probably making Liliana have increased security in her place. Yet they did not give a second look towards the girls, the presence of the man escorting them telling that there was nothing for them to do right now. They were soon in, and the man stopped for a bit. "If there's something you have to do, please do it now. The escort who'll take you to the Mistress will be here in a minute." he told Adelle as they waited, eyeing Rose on the side as he would be the one to keep her entertained and content once they split up.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Adelle took one of the pastries herself, and popped open a bottle of soda if there were any in there, and handed it to Rose to drink, so the larger girl didn't have to worry about trying to open it herself. Once they arrived at Liliana's place though, Adelle got out and stretched, having rather enjoyed the ride over to say the least. Once they were inside, Adelle looked around and noticed the increased security, figuring that Liliana had increased it after the attack. A thought occurred to Adelle, that maybe someone would mistake Rose, for Priscilla, and that worried her a bit, more than she liked, but hopefully things would work out alright.

"I guess I could freshen up a bit before I meet with her. There a bathroom around?" Adelle told the guy, heading in the direction he pointed her in to get into the bathroom. "Also, she's a bit shy. Just try and keep her away from big crowds, she's not overly used to them yet," she then whispered to the guy, when she noticed him eyeing Rose a bit.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Right there." the dude pointed out the toilets, which were a little ways to the side from their current position but fairly visibly marked as it was a common space for the customers. "Hmmh, is that so. I have to admit that even with my experience in the various ways of customer service, I was not entirely sure how to approach someone like her. But I'm sure I'll figure it all out once she has her own space in one of the more private areas..." the man admitted being a little out of it when it came to Rose.

The toilet area was a fairly common-looking one for a public space, with the usual stalls and washing spots for the ladies in front of a large, wall-length mirror pane. Another customer was just leaving when Adelle came in, but it did look like there was someone occupying one of the seven toilet stalls.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Thank you, and... maybe... she's not had much if any contact with humans in... a very long time, and even then it wasn't much," Adelle told the guy before heading to the bathroom to freshen up a bit.

After going into the bathroom, Adelle peed, washed her hands, and just generally freshened up some, before getting ready to head on up to see Liliana. Adelle didn't really pay much mind to the other person in the bathroom, just doing her best to not disturb them, while doing her own thing.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

There was no particular hot action to be found from the toilet, and Adelle could do as she pleased in the common area, the other toilet user leaving as she took her own trip to the stalls. With every little bit of necessary freshening done, she could head back at her leisure as no-one else entered while she remained there.

Rose and the man were still there as she got back, but the elevator stopped at their current floor just as Adelle got out from the toilet, a single figure emerging from within. There was instant tension to be seen from anyone witnessing this lady, as ones with her features did not come around often. Just visibly enough muscled despite the otherwise feminine, pale frame, it was easy to see that there would be no messing around with them. A dark kind of beauty, this female had long, raven-dark hair and a pair of eyes that completely lacked any features, simply being pure, deep white within a dark makeup around them. They were dressed fairly interesting too, the upper body not really having anything else to cover it besides a warrior-esque metal bra made from purple metal with some golden ornamentation on the cups that held reasonably big breasts within. She also had some metal bracers and a circlet in the same style, but they did fairly little to cover her up. Below the navel however was a different story, a floor-length black and purple skirt with golden metal strips sown into it completely covering up anything underneath, though it was easy to tell that this one wore heels from the clicking sound her steps made. But even with all that, the most immediate and striking feature present was the fact that they had wings. Black and tattered maybe, but probably still usable despite their partial lack of feathers. "This is her right. If you'd come with me, please." the woman spoke, her voice having a natural echo that made the appearance even more genuine than it looked with a simple view as they pointed out to the elevator.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Coming out of the bathroom, Adelle saw the elevator she was probably supposed to use, stop, and out came a pale skinned woman. Looking over at the woman as her heels clicked on the ground, Adelle was rather taken aback at her appearance. The wings were... odd, sure, but didn't really bother Adelle much. To be honest, Adelle was rather struck with the beauty of her, and felt herself blushing ever so slightly. "Um... a-alright miss. Lead on," Adelle replied, following her into the elevator, or wherever she intended on taking her.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Up to the elevator they went, the man taking Rose by the large hand as they split up, a question towards the wishes of solitude coming up he inquired where the albino wanted to go. But that was all Adelle managed to hear before the doors of the lift closed, the public elevators being far fancier in appearance than the plain Jane ones she had used back at the employee side of things. The winged female was there with her, remaining silent as they went up to the 9th floor. The floor was fairly closed by most accounts, looking like it was a hotel floor or something, though the doors lacked numbering. The woman went on up, taking them to the end of the corridor on the right, then turning a corner to the left and taking them to the room in the northeast corner, which was separated by a more ornate wooden door. "Whenever you are ready. Don't be too tense in front of the mistress, she doesn't like it when things get too formal in a nonformal moment like this."

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Adelle decided to not make much in the way of small talk with the winged woman, though she did eye her curiously for the majority of the trip up the elevator. After arriving up top, Adelle followed the woman along and had a look around at the place as they went, and when they stopped finally and the winged woman told her to head on in, and not be tense in front of Liliana, Adelle smiled and nodded. "Of course. I've met her a few times before now. But thanks," Adelle replied before heading inside with her normal cheerful demeanor she often had.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Hmm, good. Let's go then." the woman replied, opening up the door and letting Adelle go in first. The room beyond the door was not maybe as grand as one might imagine from the status of the owner, but it still looked like it took more than one room's space. The immediate sight to the room was a desk straight across from the door, but the rest of the room kinda went a little to the side and backwards from the entry. There was enough space to have a big set of couches for about ten people around, in addition to a queen-sized bed lined with luxurious materials and closets that were numerous enough for a family, let alone one woman. Beyond all that was another door that looked like it went into s bathroom, one that would probably match the rest of the area in grandiosity, and another door that went out to a balcony. The smell of incense wafted through the air, making the place fit exceptionally well for the mistress of s brothel and general fine establishment of various pleasurable distractions.

But more importantly, Liliana herself was waiting behind her desk, dressed in white business attire that contrasted nicely with her deeply tanned complexion and was barely managing to cover enough of her chest to make it presentable, though if one looked at it from the right angle, it might just be possible to see some areola. Besides herself, the winged woman stayed around, taking up a spot om the couches and starting to lounge around. A third presence was there as well, taking up some on the bed as they laid there, the dress on what was probably a slinky, tiny being of a girl dressed in a completely bland robe of black fabric that just might have been a simple piece of cloth turned into a garment. Regardless of what their role was, this one did not stir from her spot on the bed even as there were things happening, remaining there as they slightly shifted to another, maybe a little comfier position on the large bed. "So, did you want to sit on the couches or is this desk fine with you?" the mistress spoke up after having given Adelle some time to gawk at the room.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Adelle nodded as the door was opened for her, and went on inside. Once in there, she had a quick look around, to see what all there was to see, and to be honest these chambers looked much like a freaking mansion all on its own. Spotting Liliana after looking around a bit, Adelle headed over for her at the desk and took a seat, unless told not to do so. More than the room, Adelle did gawk a little at the beauties within it, namely Liliana herself, as well as the winged woman and the... gnome or whatever she was, on the bed.

"The desk is fine with me, unless you think the couch would be more comfortable. I vote for more comfortable myself, makes us feel better while we talk," Adelle replied with a shrug, making to move to the couch at that point, unless Liliana decided not to.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Couch it is then. Better for us to have a nice time on." Liliana seemed to agree, getting off from her fairly large office chair and moving on to sit next to the winged woman. While the other one was fairly official-looking in her posture, this was not the case with Liliana herself as she leaned back and threw her arms on the back of the couch. Sitting on the couch would reveal that it was as comfy as it looked like, the amount of leather spent on each of the seats being substantial.

"So." Liliana spoke up again once she saw Adelle being set down to her leisure. "The reason I had you called here is that I hear there are things going on with the rest of my... fellow business associates. And I heard that you were there firsthand to witness some of these events. Might you be willing to fill me in too? The attack at the meeting made some of my girls rather paranoid about a follow-up attack, and it might not be an unknown factor this time around. You did see the security outside, they are there because of this." she asked, but it sounded more like she was demanding it by the tone of the voice. While it was not quite as friendly as the previous treatment had been, there was another girl coming in to make it better. She was a simple waitress, pushing along a selection of bottles on a cart. "What would you like miss?" she asked Adelle as she put a glass in front of her.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Mhm, and being comfortable means we'll be able to focus more on talking," Adelle replied as she moved over to the couch as well.

"I see... well I suppose I can. I see no reason not to tell you, since I doubt they will. Besides, it puts Miguel in an even worse light than before, and that's perfectly okay with me, honestly. Bastard had his right hand lady leave my ass in those tunnels the other day. So I got no love for him at all. Though, his daughter isn't a bad girl, and seemed rather nice when I met her," Adelle said after a few moments, before leaning back on the side of the couch that she was on, and smiling at the waitress that came in. "Wine please, red preferably," Adelle told the waitress, before looking back to Liliana.

"Well, I guess I ought to begin with the job that I mentioned with his right hand lady leaving my ass in the tunnels. I didn't know what she'd hired me to go in with her to get, until we got there," Adelle said, before taking a sip of her wine.

Adelle sighed a bit as she was beginning to tell the story. "Rosieta wanted me to go with her to steal weapon blueprints from Timotheus. That was what I later found out, at least. I saw a few... pretty dangerous ones in there, that I didn't think Miguel had any business having, so I tried to hide a few of those. Rosieta caught me doing so, pulled her pistol on me, and by the time anyone arrived, she'd forced me to strip down naked, where I was shot with a beanbag, while unarmed, and unclothed. A bit of an excessive use of force, if I do say so myself," Adelle said before taking a sip of her wine, and glancing around. "Timotheus told me, after his torturer got a hold of me, which I refuse to go into too much detail about, that Miguel lost the papers claiming ownership of your place here. During the chaos a while back, I mean. But after that, not long anyway, a sniper tried to take him out. Turns out that the sniper was Margaret, the very one who killed your sister. But I've also learned earlier today, that Miguel is none too pleased with Margaret not killing Timotheus the other day. But Miguel has weapon plans now, and I saw a grenade launcher plan in that set, so... be careful, is all I can say, about that. But that day she nearly killed Timotheus, I met her on the roof, and she had one of Timotheus's top women running for her life, scared as hell. She scared the fuck out of me too, so I ran. Miguel's capable of anything, I'd wager, and seems like the kind of guy that if he can't talk his way into getting what he wants, then he'll take it, by force if necessary," Adelle went on to say, sighing a bit, as she went into a bit more detail.

"That's the short version, really, of my job with Rosieta that day. The long version would be step by step our trek through the tunnels of Timotheus's hideout that we went into to get those weapon plans, what happened after I was captured, and then what happened after I was freed and left, after talking to him," Adelle told Liliana after a few moments. "Was there anything else, that you'd like to know? I don't really have much of a reason to hide anything," she then asked curiously.

When she was done telling Liliana what had happened, with her shortened version, ending with the meeting on the roof, she took another drink of her wine, and looked back to Liliana. "So, he's obviously looking for stuff to use against not just you, but all the rest of the gangs here in the city too. He had the biker's bar destroyed earlier this morning too, by the looks of it. Where they did their little wrestling arena thing. I stopped by there to see if they were going to do anything again, to make a bit of extra money, for... next to no work other than shaking my ass and tits a bit for their pleasure, when I saw the destruction," Adelle said, after finishing the story.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

The numerous bits and pieces of information did not go unrecorded as the winged woman scrawled everything Liliana gestured her to record onto a paper, probably for a future council as there appeared to be a small group making the decisions around the place, not just Liliana herself. What appeared to interest her most was the assassination attempt on Timotheus, probably indicating that the two were on at least decent terms with each other. "So that murdering psycho is still working with him..."

Before anything further could be said, the rise of the bedridden girl interrupted them. She sprang up to a sitting position, now more clearly visible as she was not just a pile of cloth. This one was indeed a human girl, just small in size, maybe just a teeny bit smaller in size than Rachaela was. Without her hood, Adelle could see the bondage blindfold she wore, the straps of which were partially hidden underneath her black hair that did not quite go to her shoulders but remained just above them in a mostly neat straight haircut. One arm was visible under her robes, a thin, almost starved-looking limb. And if that was of any indication, she was probably just as bad in the remaining body as well, though her face was still undeniably cute in an odd way. "What is it, Iris?" Liliana spoke up, the question not making any response come out as the girl remained still, possibly listening intently at... something. This was enough for Liliana to make a move, and she sent the winged woman off to see what was going on.

"Apparently so, he told me that the man has his uses, but even he doesn't like the man," Adelle replied with a shrug, before the girl on the bed, Iris was her name apparently, raised up, and Liliana looked curiously at her.

After the winged woman left the room, Adelle glanced around at the poor malnourished girl, Iris, and then back to Liliana. "W-What's going on? And... what's wrong with Iris there? She looks half starved," Adelle whispered to Liliana, looking a bit concerned.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"There's probably someone with malicious intent about, she can hear it even from the lowest floor. As for her physique... well let's just say she is limiting herself." Liliana managed to say before the girl on the bed shot up, gesturing the two to move away from the couches, probably indicating them to avoid the balcony door. Staying low and reaching under the bed she had just been laying on, the girl produced a slab of stained steel that could probably be called a sword if you really wanted to twist the definition. The thing was a long rectangular peace, the business end having been flared out to a guillotine shape, the edges beaten down into rough sharpness with some hammerwork and the other end cut into a thin handle that was wrapped with duct tape-covered cloth, a small tail of which trailed down the handle. The thing was easily at least an inch thick and several feet long, but that did not appear to hinder Iris much as she crouch-walked towards the balcony, the pseudo-sword trailing along as she dragged it along with one hand, the weight of the thing leaving a scratch trail on the marble floor as she did. Once she had reached the door, she stood up almost faster than one could see and threw open the door, a gunshot immediately sounding as she did it.

The balcony had been covered by the curtains and the group had not managed to see out there, but there was indeed someone there, a figure clad in voluminous amounts of black and brown cloth. But even then, they did not hide the fact that the wearer was some sort of ratman as a long rat snout come to view from underneath the hood he wore, and as there were no shoes, the sharp claws for toes as well. They had taken a shot at Iris, but it was not all that bad as she had raised up her sword-plate, the inch-thick frame of the thing easily stopping a mere handgun shot.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"I... see. Well if you say she's alright, then I won't say any more on the matter," Adelle replied softly about Iris.

When the frail looking girl motioned for them to move from the couch, Adelle raised an eyebrow and followed Liliana to where she went, and crouched down for cover, pulling her bigger pistol out and checking to make sure it was loaded, before getting ready for whatever was about to come. When the shot rang out, Adelle put an arm around Liliana and gently ushered her along to the best cover she could find, and prepared to fire back, before seeing Iris block another shot that rang out at her. "Holy shit. Should I... help her, maybe?" Adelle whispered to Liliana, preparing to lean around their cover and shoot back out the window.
