I tried Monkey, problem was i can't find a copy of the .dll file. Instead i just rename the game.ini to RGSS103J, though i dunno what that will do later to the game just started no error so far

Installed a new version of RPG XP, moved RGSS104j.dll to the folder, and changed the .ini to point to 104j, and it seems to work perfectly now.

This is the same walkthrough that someone posted earlier. I added a hotkey reference to the beginning. The first letter is what the game calls the button, the second part is what the button does, and the part in parenthesis is the actual key(s) that are mapped to the function.

I found another trick if you don't have an RPGMaker XP game with RGSS102J.dll and you installed the last updated version of RPGmaker's XP RTP (Which was a previous version of RPGMaker XP's dll) is to grab one that uses RGSS103J.dll (Which was the last updated version) and then change the referencing in the game.ini to reference this.

It seems to keep all the formatting, but I've only just started.

Edit: Also don't know if you're interested in taking formatting/spelling errors. There's a lot of little things that I've picked up here and there, but well not sure how current the version is.

see page 3 for the in-memory errors which had also is easy to solve.

Machine translation that's been touched up with a very basic knowledge of japanese. I'd imagine...

Doubt it, there's still a whole bunch of words that don't make any sense in english that have to be figured out etc. Machine translations alone wouldn't be able to do that.

I doubt that it will be in the foreseen years, the amount of coding behind it would be... Insane.

Plus, common grammar mistakes in the human beings would give the machine a hard time.

What DLL file that the one guy supplied? There are two mediafire links on the first page of this thread, but they're both invalid.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just figured it out. Even though this same fix didn't work two minutes ago. Man, RPGMaker is some janky-ass shit.

For anyone else having problems, try this .dll and config file and it should hopefully work (it did for me this way).

Managed to get it working by copying the original ini file from the previous version.

Any idea where the grass is to cure the elder? I keep scouting the west forest but there's not twinkling points of interest around
