Thanks for the translation. This game is great, but I have to say Breath of Fire and Iron is my favorite out of the series. I'm thinking maybe because it was the first game of the series that I played. I love the corruption element from innocent to pervert. Although, I have to agree with hentaisearch with how the protagonist is placed in unlikely situations, but she has to get raped somehow :)

Hey, while I'm in the cult hideout, it tells me that before progressing I should finish all the side quest, there's no coming back, new hints have been added... In these new hints, it's said that if you defeat a Dragon Fang in the abandoned mines, some additional scenes will be played in the end. But I can't go back to the mines ever since I complketed the quest with the goblins; the only Dragon Fang I've found was in the underground passage, but that's for a key to the necklace.

Maybe I'm missing something?

Uh... that's probably a misunderstanding from my translation.

The book in your room starts by talking about defeating a Dragon Fang, but then it talks about killing "The one waiting for you" in the abandoned mines. That part isn't related to the Dragon Fang at all. In the Japanese version they worded it all vaguely as if you weren't supposed to know who was waiting for you in the mines.

Since you've already completed the abandoned mines and can't go back, you already beat him. It opens the door in the last CG room. (Don't blame me if the scenes are underwhelming...)

Maybe I should rephrase the translation though.

It might be better the phrase it as "An enemy as strong as a dragon fang"

is the version on the OP the newest? or is there like a version 1.1 somewhere in all these pages? I went back like 8 pages saw nothing.

You obviously never played Scale Garden games before. His games don't have new versions since his games when released never have bugs and he never updates them with new content, but it takes 2 years for him to release each new game.

The exception, of course, being his second game, which had a game breaking bug which needed to be patched.

Easiest way to see if a game has a new version is to just look at the DLSite page. If there are two dates in the information (above the preview images), then that means there was an update of some kind.

:) I recently checked out Sangeki and really liked it; I'm having some trouble finding threads on his earlier works, are there such threads?

I usually do all my own homework to find the games in question and whatnot, but his blog is a nightmare of bizzare symbols (not moonspeak) and i can't really figure out where/what these are and how many there are.

Would greatly appreciate if anyone could jot up a quick rundown of the previous works/this guy's stuff and some info on each.

Actually, I did visit the author's blog and it's not translatable through google and randomly clicking links kept bringing up individual photos and I can't figure out actual product names. I did manage to google translate a couple bits of text via copy paste and find "Seiren Harp", but otherwise was fairly lost.

Regarding these forums, I tried searching for ScaleGarden, Scale Garden, Seiren, etc... comes up with very mixed results, both in threads / posts.

Change text encoding to Shift JIS.

By the way, you guys got the game's name wrong. It's not "Rhodes's Fortress", but rather "Rhodes of the Fortress". The possessive points in the other direction.

That is the correct translation and after playing this game it makes sense from a logical standpoint too.

You're right but everyone already was calling the game this way and it's not that big of a difference so I just rolled with it.

There's also some items/skills in the game that I would've translated differently, but I just kept it uniform with the partials and images that were already made. I didn't want to confuse any players and God help me if I had to reedit all those pictures, too. I probably wouldn't even have translated this game to begin with if I had to do all the images, too. :p

He's probably hard at work making his next game the best he can. Better him doing that than dicking off on the internet. lol

He/she just updated his/her page about his/her new game. Nice timing. The Heroine looks a bit more lifelike and she has now a cute birth-mark on her breast.

I still say this guy puts to many details on the hand. It looks like the hand of a granny rather then that of a young girl.

Ps.: I love that french braid... or whatever that hairdo is named.

Totally agree, I would really like for him to redo the hands. Of all the things in that picture, my eyes instantly went to her hands....and there's plenty of other things to admire.

I like her clothes for the most part, especially how the side view has the top holding her breasts down (for some reason that's attractive to me). However the ability to strip down clothes, which from the pic I'm assuming will also make a return, doesn't look like it'll have as much impact as the 3rd game did.
