No one seems to have posted this yet, so...
Here's Honey Quest!
The thread I found it on is here:
And a direct link to the download is here:
Pretty simple RoR game done by Mr. SuperScope on TP's forums. You play as what appears to be a bee girl, who realizes she, HO SNAP SON, doesn't have any honey left. So she wanders out into the forest to find some.
Screenshots are attached to the post.
----------
Controls: Arrow keys to move left, right, jump and duck. Enter pauses the game. From there you can quit or save the game. Mashing down escapes rapes.
----------
Items:
Honey pot- Heals you a little.
Potion (Looks like a bottle with a spiral on it) - Grants you a shield that lasts for about five seconds, any enemy who touches the shield dies.
Gem- Only one in the game. Permanently boosts your movement speed.
Honey droplet- Gives points. Points don't seem to do anything though.
----------
Easter eggs!
The bee's have two different rapes, seems to depend on if they grab you from behind or not.
Try letting two bee's grapple you.
(They're the only enemies that seem to be able to do that.)
When you reach the final boss, run into him on purpose.
----------
Some bugs:
If you load the game, the main menu music drags on into the game until you finish a level, or pause the game.
When you cross a checkpoint, the game automatically saves, but it will respawn when you load the game up, since it saves everything, even how much time you had left on a shield (if you had one on when you crossed it) it can cause problems where you die with the shield on, and are forced to reload, you will be forced to save again, causing a loop where if you keep dying during that part, you'll continually have less and less time on the shield. Saving from the menu after finishing a big segment is recommended to avoid that problem.
----------
One last note: I'd suggest putting the game into it's own folder, as it creates two extra files while you play. One for your save file, and one when you open the pause menu for the first time.
