But I already did beat the game.

I just want to know what are the "buttons" for me to activate the mode.
I don't think you need to activate anything. Infinite Mode simply means that you play on without further goals for you to achieve in form of monsters to be sold at a specific day.
Think is on after you beat the game.

you cannot enter this infinite mode right away from the start, you can only reach it by clearing the game.

..after which the then active game will switch to infinity mode automatically. It's not a game mode that you activate at the start.

Boo. In a twist that left me swearing but will probably make certain other folks very happy, they're making the MC of ProjectR a shota.

I think that's one of the dominant of trends of hentai - pairing hot ladies with little boys - that actually pisses me off. What an absolute fucking waste.

Edit 3/01/24 - a recent ci-en post revealed the adult form of the MC, solving my complaint. Neat. (The player picks whether they want the shota or the man.)

same happens with doujins either is an ugly bastard or a shota. or an ugly shota. and it pisses me off because sometimes they make the hottest women on those works

I'm predicting that the only "unique" scenes would be between Rune and the shota MC, and that all the other girls can be paired with other men and monsters. There was talk about whoring your girls out to the nations' men or some-such. Either way I'm neutral towards the shota MC, I can just not put him in scenes.

As of today, a kind of interesting update. Apparently there will not be a separate "Birthing Room", and your girls can just give birth in the Breeding Rooms. Difference being that the animation will be different if a monster is currently occupying the room, in which case the monster will fuck the girl while she gives birth. Also, they're considering a cross-section view, though it seems ambiguous whether that will apply during actual sex, or if it's just for pregnancies.
As a sidenote, I'd love if girls could somehow get pregnant with more than 3 babies, but I'm not holding my breath. Would just be a neat feature since MBM allowed the "Multiple Pregnancy" stat to go past 3, but it sadly didn't actually matter.

A small update for Project R on Team Apple Pie's CI-EN. Not a demo update I'm afraid.

I wasn't too sure if this was gonna happen or not, but it seems like goblin girls are getting added. They'll be a species of humanoid your monsters will probably end up fighting and eventually conquering which are planned for the next demo's release. And yes, they'll be one of the species you can have monsters breed with, likely not the last.
They're also planning on adding fetal growth as turns pass, which I don't care for but it might as well be mentioned since the article only consists of two things.

The original concept art for the Darkest Dungeon-alike had multiple types of monster girls; looks like they're following through on that.

I think harpies, cowgirls, and nagas were the other ones?

The original concept showed rough designs for goblins, oni, kitsune, cowgirls, and naga. No harpies, but they'd make a good fit.
I'm curious as to whether the monstergirls will just be captured from battles or if there will be a way to breed and produce them directly. I know the plan is for all the "Town NPCs" from the DD-like concept to be repurposed as "Leaders" in the new concept, so it would be neat if a "Leader" type monstergirl could be bred to make more monstergirls, instead of just more monsters, if that makes sense.
Still a little sad they aren't doing the DD-like, I still feel like it's a concept that has a lot of potential. Even so, I'm intrigued by the new direction and hope it'll scratch an itch that, for me, Goblin Burrow didn't manage to.

Not trying to judge but, but I'm kind of over Japanese goblins and orcs. They're just ugly green humans with twisted bodies, too big or too small. They are also overwhelmingly the most common type of 'monster' for some reason... I could probably sit here and fill a book with the amount of Japanese ero games where goblins/orcs start or entirely make up the monster roster...

I know the Japanese love their tropes and traditions, but yeesh come on. I know they're going to add the ogres/orcs/whatever too since the art for it is already done but I hope they put in effort to actually put in new monsters different from Black Market. Would love to see centaurs for cavalry, etc. The harpies already sound good.

Goblin Slayer left a relatively low impact on the mainstream, as the mainstream understandably balks at "obligate rapist goblins" being a setting feature. Like, the obligate rapist goblins stand out, but it also makes it "the show with the rape goblins" and not "the next Lodoss War" as it could have been.

But it left a huge stamp on the hentai world, amusingly enough. Orcs had always been popular as the go-to "Western" monster but the little green bastards got a massive upsurge over the past few years.

But yeah, I'd love to see an "Eastern" version of Monster Black Market with all the weird shit that populates Debonosu's Kagura games.

Feel like I'm raising the dead here by talking about Monster Black Market instead of ProjectR but I have a good reason! You see, I picked up MBM for the first time like, a week ago? Ish? And I've been absolutely obsessed with it ever since. The porn doesn't do much for me, but I'm a good 8 or 9 runs into the game just for the actual management and gameplay, shit's addictive.

As a result, all of the weirdness in the localization started to irk me a little bit; it's certainly serviceable, but there are a bunch of inconsistencies, unclear parts and overall poor grammar. Then I found out the localization file is literally just a text document in the game files and we get to the present: I have manually updated and redone the entire english localization! This is only my 2nd pass (first pass + single test run to proofread) so there might still be some typos and such that I've missed - please let me know if you find any - but for now I'm happy to share a much more fluent translation that's a bit clearer about what it's trying to tell you.

Something of a changelog, if you want a preview of what's different. Do note that this file is for the current game version and includes the DLC, I can't guarantee how well it'll work without it.

Furry/Small Furry -> renamed to Large Beastfolk/Small Beastfolk
Inu/Fox -> renamed to Wolf (the localization I played called them "fox" in the one place it was translated and "inu" (which even with my limited japanese I understand as "dog") everywhere else, not to mention any external resources I saw (I found a fan wiki by accident, actually) also listed them as "inu" or "dog". Going for more of a middle ground, wolf seemed like the right animal so that's what I've named them)
Flora/Fleur -> Fleur (she was inconsistently called one or the other in different places so I just picked one and made it consistent)
Noel's dna mechanic is now called "cloning"
"love gel" -> lotion (should be obvious why)
Elves' tattoos are now called Lewd Crests, because that's what they are
Most racial traits have had their names and tooltips rephrased to be clearer or sound less awkward
Most item descriptions have been rephrased to be clearer and sound less awkward
NPC dialogue has been brushed up and now comes off as much less robotic. I also took the liberty of making them a little flirtier~~
Tutorials are now clearer in their explanations and some of them include a little more detail than before
Unique slaves have been renamed to match the pop culture characters they are based on, with the exception of the dwarf and sheepgirl, who I have yet to identify (please help if you know them!)
The pixie tasks HUD has been rephrased for clarity

I hope this helps someone and you guys enjoy it. I'm pretty satisfied with it at present but if anyone finds typos or anything, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

To install, just drag this text file into your Monster Black Market/MonsterBlackMarket_Data/StreamingAssets/Localization folder and overwrite the existing 3. en.txt
You might want to backup the original first, if you want to revert the translation later.

EDIT: 2023/11/30: I've done another playthrough on my own end with this version running and encountered several more typos and a couple of other issues... which I've fixed. Also reworded another couple of things because they were bugging me. The new version is attached (it's named the same but I assure you it's the new version) so if you're seeing this, check it out.

EDIT: 2023/12/01: Alright I think this'll be the final version of the edited TL unless someone else finds a horrible typo or grammatical error somewhere. Pretty satisfied with how this came out and I'm gonna leave it here for anyone who wants a better english version. Enjoy.

I agree, I'm fairly over goblins in H-games. I don't mind when they're just one small part of the whole, but most games I've played where they're the main focus fall flat, barring well-done exceptions like Goblin Burrow and Goblin Conqueror.
I mostly bring up Goblin Burrow as a "strategy game where you breed girls to get units" kinda thing. I'll likely enjoy the game no matter what, but like you my main concern is going to be monster variety. We know the 5 types from MBM are in, and Tentacles are likely as well. I hope they get a little more creative since the player character is essentially the general of the Demon Army. Would be nice if they kept bestiality in as well.
I replayed MBM and was reminded of how generally polished the whole thing is, so hopefully ProjectR will be up to the same standard by release, though that's still a long way off at this point.

I'm about 99% certain the sheepgirl is another Granblue Fantasy character. I'm not terribly familiar with it but I think the sheepgirl is Anila, whose art looks like:

Though I might be having a Berenstain Bears moment because I remember her outfit having more green in it - i.e., closer to the MBM sprite.

I am stumped on who the hell the dwarf princess is, though. I thought she was also Granblue but Granblue dwarfs are apparently lolibabas, not short stacks?

Edit: Checking doujins has me extra-convinced the unique sheepgirl is Anila with some palette changes.
