Hey Sourjelly, I'm sure you've heard that Kimochi is shutting down. For those of us (like myself) who bought your game through Kimochi, how will we go about getting the updates from now on when they come out?

Edit: Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere but I haven't seen anything

Four days ago, he said in the Kimochi topic that he needed a few days to talk to his market manager first to figure out how to get the update to Kimochi users. I'm in the same boat as you, but I'm sure he'll find a way to take care of us.

First off: Nice and interesting game. The Cover on DLsite wasn't appealing for me but I thought "Meh, just give it a try." And luckily I did, because now I'm playing this game like Parasite in City - first the game, then the porn.

But I wanted to ask:
- Where do you see the Game Version?
- Will this game just have the CGs as gallery?/Animated Sprites gallery incoming?
- Where/How does the game save?

btw, Kitty Zombie so lovely.

- Can't say for sure, but the only released version is 1.0. There hasn't been any updates as far as I know, but 1.50 is coming.
- There already is a CG/animation gallery in the game. Play it through and it will be on the main menu, unless it's in "extras", can't quite remember.
- Not sure about the third question. Sorry to SourJelly if I got something wrong!

PS. Still looking forward to 1.50 way too much. It is taking too long. Even if it would release tomorrow, then tomorrow would be too far away :<

- Can't say for sure, but the only released version is 1.0. There hasn't been any updates as far as I know, but 1.50 is coming.
- There already is a CG/animation gallery in the game. Play it through and it will be on the main menu, unless it's in "extras", can't quite remember.

If you support his patreon, he does regular updates. It's a nice thing to look forwards to every week.

The update progress is still in early stage
(stage1 - 70% stage2 - 40% stage3 -0% H stuff - 30%? remake - 10%?)
and about kimochi, I talked with market manager and he said he will give me the customer email list so I can continue help the customers, but I'm not satisfied with that answer so I'll keep ask him for the better solution.

- you must right click the file and click the properties -> details to see the game version.
-Yes, this game has CGs gallery and Animated sprites gallery. all you need to do is beat the final boss with any difficult. dose not matter if you use the cheat code.
-this game has check point system just like old M*ga man dose :D

PS. Still looking forward to 1.50 way too much. It is taking too long. Even if it would release tomorrow, then tomorrow would be too far away :<
haha I'm really sorry but you will have to wait bit more since the remaking HCG takes really long >.<;; but let me tell you, I'm working hard to release the Demo version of V1.50

This will be something like a note pad containing stuff I noticed while playing through the game.

- Using the iron bar to save ammo will result in a high chance taking damage, because the bar hits only one plant a time and its range isn't that bigger than the attacks of the plants
- To attack special plants with the iron bar e. g. the "lure-pollen" plant will result in suicide or taking very high damage
- Special plants like the "Charger" (Chapter 1) have high HP resulting the loss of either much ammo or high HP to progress
- The "Shooter-Plant" in the last chapter was a 100% taking damage plant unless you know where/when they spawn
- Sometimes you find too much ammo and sometimes you find nothing until the next checkpoint (the 3x Ammo cap was giving some frustrations)
- The reload animation won't let you move, resulting in taking damage when in a pinch
- Reload animation will abort when taking damage (which is frustrating)
- While holding the iron bar, reloading the weapon is possible (which can be frustrating)
- No invincible frames after successfully prevented a rape
- While giving Kitty Zombie some love, the sex works like a big fat Zombie Magnet
- After all, the iron bar is just worth for few normal plants

I'm aware that some stuff are probably intended and some stuff are just too difficult to change/program. So, this ought to be an overview for future considerations not an appeal to change.

Btw, is there a way to fullscreen? Like, Alt+Enter? (Which doesn't work, lol)

Why not do a combo of both?
Shoot a few, then use the melee to finish it off.

Ye, just wanted to edit my post again (lol)
Maybe a change of my playstyle would work better. But nevertheless, that kind of limits your own playstyle.


More stuff I noticed
- Pressing the reload button frequently will cancel the animation and refresh it ... like, you can do an infinite loop of reloading animations without even reloading (Panicking won't let you reload: intended?) A second tap works as a "cancel reload"

- I managed to reload although I've zero ammo. Resulting that I've -1x ammo o_O

- You've to stand to examine objects (which was a bit confusing, especially in the 3rd Chapter at the sentries) (nvm, didn't hit the hitbox)

Ah, and some points that revoke my first notes.
Changed my playstyle. Skipping hordes will give progress and less ammo waste.

Thus, another edit: I just noticed, when using the -calluna- cheat and you're too slow (You don't move on to the next Chapter within a certain amount of time) (wrong)
the game crashes. The Task-Manager doesn't show any peaks of RAM or CPU Usage. It first happened while using the -calluna- cheat in the floor of Chapter 1 before the elevator. I decided to stand there and kill all those spawning zombies, lol. And the more often the crash occured, the smaller the time frame when it does happen again. Even when running as usual without cheats. Edit1: Seems that that is a problem with many mob-spawns. But as mentioned earlier. Although I didn't use any cheats and although I run the game normally, the game crashes after a SHORT time. I started a fresh new game (not using continue or chapter select. I used START). Crashes are gone.

Btw, when pressing Esc it's like closing the run I'm doing. So, like, I died. Poor progress. ;____; No Pause button? (Can be frustrating)

In chapter 3, I abadoned one Kitty Zombie. Later on, I saw her Heart-Meter although she was no where around. (Attachment Photo as Reference)


My short, not so elaborate review of this game
So, this will be my opnion about this game. I've beat it. Finally. (Without light effects. I got framedrops because I runned some other stuff in the background. But I didn't want to run this very game only ... like, you know ...)

For starters, the Kitty Zombie was a nice feature of the game, but it was kind of difficult to use her as a Zombie Proxy. You've to consider her Heart-Meter, your own position, the position of your target and the position where the light stick lands. (Damn!)
Sometimes, there was just a crowd of Zombies too big to shoot/hit through. So, skipping that crowd would come in mind but here and there was a collision detection. Especially the "Wall"-Zombies. Neither jump over them or crawl under them was possible. (Or maybe I didn't try hard enough?)
Furthermore, it was - honestly - a pain on the nerves to switch the weapons via a key. May it be because of the programming. My. Left. Hand. Hurts. When I fought the last boss. Ammo empty? Switch. Ammo available? Switch. Ammo empty ...? Oops, I'm not shooting.

But, the boss fights made fun. The first one was more like tank-and-shoot. Just shoot. Getting damage? Who cares - shoot! The second one was nicely done. The third one was challenging - I could feel the Dark Souls feeling.
Animation work is excellent. H-Animations very spicy. :p

So, all in all, it was a game worth playing for the content rather than the porn - the plot was short but still interesting.

I'm sorry to hear many of these problems.....but I didn't encounter any of those problems at all and my hand was still fine afterwards....but I do probably play more games than average people do....though yes the kitty zombie can be annoying to use and often I did forget about using her as a distraction but more as a healling tool if I was losing health or failing at some points which require random exploring to get through becuae I can't understand the maps....(espically the park since it wasn't set out in 2D and had circles) Anyway with the hoards of zombies....you reallly just need to take it slower if you end up triggering all of them and not really sprint unless it's your last chance, and yes it's hard to jump over the wall guys but possible.

Does Fenrir have a Hentai Foundry page or anything else? There are so many Fenrirs or some combination of Fenrir and other words that google searching him/her hasn't proven fruitful yet.

Fenrir does have Devianart and pixiv account, but unfortunately there's nothing in there. also not much images left on the internet now.

Fenrir stopped his career and deleted his own works from the internet and vanished from this industry for about a year. Even I had a hard time to contact him although I knew him well.

why would someone suddenly remove his own efforts, and suddenly stop for a whole year... seriously his art is fantastic enough to sell...

Well, it's unfortunate I can't see much more of his work, but I'm glad he's teamed up with you for this project. I can understand personal reasons for deleting his content so I don't blame him. The new art is great from what I've seen. Really looking forward to the full, extended work now.

Atucally in a lot of games that let you switch between two weapons of your choice it's pretty standerd to have a button to switch between them like for example "Lab still alive" which has been a great success for the developer so much so that they're workng on a pre-qual I think?

Also she only works as a healing tool when on super easy and it's in the park where I used her the most as a healing tool becuase of some weird stuff with the shield guys just not wanting to die :/

Never played it, never read of it, never saw it.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, except for it being some kind of problem on your end, and I can say right now that that is most likely your problem. You're on a forum for hentai games and you haven't played LAB Still Alive.

but joking aside. give lab still alive a try. one of the better quality sprite games.
