Circe looked at the display of Commander Winters a moment. "Finding her will be easier with all of the sensor nodes active. We should concentrate on getting those up first. If Kalica is heading for the east and northeast, I'll make for the southwest node. Splitting up will enable us to work quickly."
"I agree with everyone's statements... except Civilian Ashley's," The hologram replied, "I will need resources to continue creating ammunition, armor, and repairs. If you go with Pilot Laina and just Scavenge necessary materials, that should allow me to operate at full capacity for another day.
"Is there anyone else willing to go to the sensor nodes?"

I looked up to the computer's hologram... "So... What helps get my lab up and running? I'd sort of like to hide away. I've got work to do!" I said, shifting back and forth awkwardly. "I mean, I'll go get that last node if I have to, but I'd like help if I do..."
"I am sorry to say, Engineer Hali, but the Subfloor with the lab is currently inaccessible due to an emergency code routine running through my system. It cannot be lifted until Commander Winters has returned."

"listen the sooner the better in regards to getting this stuff going..hey ummm Kiera right? will you be able to tell me what to do to get those sensors working over a com or something? or do i need to get the directions here and now..if you can tell me while i'm there then i'll leave now and get to work on getting you up and running"
Circe turned from the display, heading back to the elevator down. "I can manage on my own, but Private Que, if you go with Kalica, the two of you can cover ground quickly, and your skills will complement eachother." Circe wait for anyone else leaving then before heading down.

"Circe," Kiera said as the Biod headed for the Elevator, "I'll stay in contact for as long as possible, but that's only going to be about a mile out. When you reach the node, it should be easy enough to activate. Just try and be careful."
Circe used the elevator to get to the first floor, walking out the entryway and into the courtyard. She left through the North exit, doubling around until she was heading Southwest.

One Mile Southwest of Firelight: Juniper's Apartment Complexes; Circe
As the biod moved stealthily through the debris, she heard some odd noises up ahead; gruttal, barking noises, almost like commands. Without thinking, she took cover behind a nearly destroyed wall, looking out to see several of the green humanoids walking down the ruined street. There were two like she had seen before, but the other one -who seemed to be giving out commands - was wearing light armor...
"i do fine on my own...i am only gonna need someone to help me if i cant get those things running myself now Kiera can you tell now what i need to do sinc ei have asked this three times with no answer..if i HAVE to have help fine otherwise i could already have been on my way" she gave a sigh of frustration
"I'm sorry I've been ignoring your, Kalica," The VI said, looking over to her, "But it's the simple press of a button. I'm afraid until Mechanic Laina has enough resources, we may not be able to fix the destroyed Sensors."

*gave a nd of her head and checking her own gear she gave a wave to those still here and took off at a jog to make way for the same door Circe went out through the first stop would be the Eastern node* alright Kiera i'm off then! have you up and running asap!"
"The same thing I said to Circe applies to you, Kalica," Kiera said over the girl's headset, "I'll be in contact for one mile, at least until you get your sensor node working."
One Mile East of Firelight: The Long Stretch; Kalica.
Kalica moves along the basically empty road, glancing at the nearby abandoned bunkers. There wasn't any enemies as far as she could see, so she pushed on - unless she wanted to stick around and search.

*kali knew things wouldnt be safe until the sensors were up and working..even then they wouldnt be safe only safer then before so she would wait on scavenging for anything until after she had done her job with these two sensors continuing on to the east to head for the node*
Two Miles Easy of Firelight: Security Checkpoint Titan-3; Kalica.
Kalica decided to move on, ignoring anything else in her way. As she went, she heard Kiera over her intercom, static covering her voice.
"Run...Kal..a, you're ne... the en... of op...rational ra...ge... Go... ck..."
Whatever she was saying, it was too hard to make out. With a shrug, she looked through her cool sun glass visors Kiera had given her with a change of clothes, her HUD displayed in them. She followed the signal of the Sensor Node, sneaking quietly along the way.
Kalica reached the sensor node, but was dismayed to find some of the green humanoids standing around at it, poking at a dying fire. They hadn't seen her from her cover, and based on where they were standing, she'd have the perfect opportunity to strike them... but she would have to be careful of the third creature, the biggest of them all; he had on some sort of light armor.
*hunkering down she would move to where she felt she could get the best shot on these green skins...she took aim keeping her arm as steady as possible as she drew aim at the first of the unarmored ones lining a shot up at its head she would quickly fire and then shift her gun to the next one near it without armor and fire two shots hoping with any luck she could at least down one of the two in the intial attack*
(ooh forgot to mention wanting to activate cheapshot on the attack)
Circe observed the trio from her cover. The large one must be the leader. While the three creatures were still at a distance, Circe steadied her rifle on the ruined wall in front of her and looked through the scope at the leader. Looking for a chink in the armor, she waited for the perfect moment and fired, waiting until she saw the effect of her shot before dropping back behind the wall and loading another round into the chamber.

((Very important GM note!: When fighting enemies who have ranged attacks, please make sure your last action is take cover. Yes, it uses 1 EP, but the enemies can't attack until they've figured out a way to flank you. It's the same with your enemies though. From now, if you don't end your post with 'Take Cover', I will assume you are letting your character stand up to get shot.))

Kalica is almost surprised how well her first shot goes. She pulls the trigger, the round literally exploding through the creature's right arm, the thing yelling in pain. However, as the hammer to the modified pistol went to fire the second round from the firearm, the shell being expelled from the gun jammed. Swearing in anger, she was able to fix the jam, but not before her target leapt behind a concrete barrier. Swearing even more, she turned her attention to the other creature, firing madly, but the woman had never been great with moving targets. It was already running to cover behind an abandoned outpost. She continued to swear, dropping behind cover, glaring at the ground in front of her.
Whatever the creatures were, she could hear them calling out to each other, moving slowly.
I looked around nervously... I was naked without my mass spectrometer... Major Mass Spec... Or my computers... "Anyone wanna go get that last nod up and running? I'd really like to get back into my lab." I asked the group, biting my lip nervously... Caffeine... I needed something caffeinated as well...
*would grumble about the dan pistol jammingout of nowhere and then the following horrible shots made things even worse eyeing a building off to her side she would make a dash for it holding back from firing since nothing was even visible any more*
"Alright then... I guess I'll go to the Northwest node and try to fix it, Do you think you could walk me through it Kiera? Or maybe give me some kind of tutorial?" Ashley said after two of the other women had left.

Circe activates Careful Aim, gaining +1 to dex, and +2 to damage.
Circe: Attacks Enemy (armored).
Attack 1: 17 + 4 + 1 = 22 vs. 17 + 3 = 20; Damage: 3 + 2 = 5.
Enemy 1 (Armored): Moving towards Circe's position; loses 1 EP.
Enemy 2: Moves out of sight of Circe; loses 1 EP.
Enemy 3: Moves into an abandoned building; loses 1 EP.
Circe took a long, deep breath, waiting for a few seconds, before quietly looking out from her cover. She moved fluidly, yet quietly, setting her rifle on the half-wall that was her cover, aiming at the lead creature... And with a quick pull of the trigger, she blew his helmet off, the beast letting out a roar. As Circe took cover, she could hear the creature grunting orders. She didn't care, quickly reloading her rifle...
"Well, Civilian Ashley, if Engineer Hali goes with you, there shouldn't be a problem. However.." Kiera waved her arm, the VIP list disappearing. A small diagram of what looked like a circuit breaker appeared near to her.
"It's quite simple... Open the door here," She said, the door to the virtual box opening up, "And press the button.. here," she said, the fake, virtual button depressed.
"And that's it."
