The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

Krysta calmly filled a syringe with some of the sedative she had found in the cabinets. "You're in the medical bay of the Dividing Line Space station. After your... fight earlier with my friend, you remember him, the one that looked like a Bentari, we brought you here, and i stitched you up." She walked over to stand by him, "Now please calm down, I don't want to have to use this sedative on you. I don't know how it's going to affect you."

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

"Ah yes. That big, ugly thing that looks like a whale fucked an oilslick? Bentari, you say?" Realising that he can't tear through the bindings he slightly relaxes. "And why am I on the medical bay? You could've just let me bleed out."

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

She snorted and rolled her eyes, "Yes him. And I'm aware we could have but Thall turned you into a prisoner of war, and well..." she shrugged, "I couldn't let a sentient creature as magnificent as you die. I mean, everyone thought you were eradicated."

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

Another hiss, this time an amused one. "Eradicated? Impossible. Your pitiful armies are no match for The Swarms and our allies. The Pan Kor may have resisted us, but their systems aren't worth the effort anyway. If you haven't heard of us, it's because we are planning our next action."

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

She sighed, "I suppose..." she shook her head, "I'll call Thall. He'll sort you out." She back away a little and turned her comm on, "Thall? He's awake. I think you'd better get down here..."

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

"Yes, let me see that Thall that took me prisoner." "I'm on my way!" Thall sounds rather excited.

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

"I'm sorry we had to do this." she said, sort of shaking her head, "But we couldn't let you hurt anyone else."

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

"You could have just killed me, but we have been over that." As the Ashotur's face is rather fish-like it's impossible to read anything from it.

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

She sighed again and pulled her chair over to sit at the foot of the gurney. "So what were you doing here? I mean, why were you waiting in this space station? Do you know what happened to it?"

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

"I'm on a mission from Warlord Vashkur. And I won't risk my gills by telling you." Vashkur was an infamous General during the war. He is assumed to have died in the NOVA incident.

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

She sighed, "I see. Well we'll see what Thall has to say." she tapped her foot impatiently.

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

"Say about what?" Thall enters the Medical Bay. His breathing is a bit faster, like he ran. The Ashotur hisses again. "I got taken prisoner by a Fishbone? Are you serious?"

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

Krysta grimaced, "Well, no one can say they were a polite species." she muttered, "Sorry for calling you so quickly Thall. He... doesn't know about NOVA. I figured since you wanted to talk to him you were the best to explain the truth." Then she chuckled and turned back to the Ashotur, "What is your name anyway?"

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

Thall gives off a short whistling sound. "Actually Fishbone is pretty acurate. Our bones ARE pretty fragile."
"My name, Blubber, is Pkaric Whitemaw of the Whitemaw clan. And just what IS this NOVA that you are talking about?" Thall sighs. "Apparently they use a lot of racial slang."

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

"It doesn't bother me. I'm used to insults." she shrugged and marked Pkaric's name down on a sheet. "Oh, Thall, did you want the tissue sample i collected earlier?" She held out her hand and popped the compartment open. "Refrigerated to keep it fresh." she chuckled.

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

"YES PLEASE! I mean- Yes." "Hey! I asked a question!" "Right, right", Thall murmurs as he pockets the sample. "This is going to be hard to believe." Thall presses a button on his gauntlet and calls up a hologram of a star cluster. The Ashotur hisses. "I know that. This is the cluster of my homeworld. What-" He abruptly goes quiet as Thall presses another button. A chunk of the cluster disappears. "This is how the Alliance ended the war. They saw no other option." Pkaric falls quiet, trying to take that information in.

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

Krysta quietly hands the small piece of flesh over before sitting down at her desk again, staring morosely at the Ashotur.

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

"This is a lie." Pkaric's voice is quiet at first, quickly getting louder. "A LIE! The waves of the Ashotur will soon crash you all!" Thall sighs. "Rage as much as you want. All you need is a look out of a window." "I will gnaw on your bones!"

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

Krysta took a deep breath, "I'm sorry you think we're lying to you. Though I know the obliteration of your species must be hard to accept..."

Re: The Dividing Line - Medical Bay

It took him some time to get there, after all he was quite... heavy. Finally Draven, in his Bentari form, strode into the Medical Bay and nodded over to Krysta. "Thank you for calling me down here."

He looks directly at the Ashotur, "I was beginning to wonder if you would ever wake up."

He speaks to Krysta and Thall once more. "So has he said anything useful yet, such as what he was doing here, or even a name?"
