The Forgotten Castle

Re: The Forgotten Castle

A. Introductions, then what unfinished business holds her here, what does she know of the creatures which stalk the castle and its grounds.

This through inwardly groan at self to having the bad luck of stumbling on this place and pray to the rain gods to not let the storm rage constantly.

Re: The Forgotten Castle

A. Knowledge is power

Re: The Forgotten Castle

A. Maybe we can just be friends and not incur the wrath of the undead?

This sort of reminds me of the first resident evil game, zombie mansion, monsters, and whatnot. Just to be clear, I definitely mean that as a compliment. And now there's ghosts! Cool

+1 :3

Re: The Forgotten Castle

A sounds like a good plan, for now.

Re: The Forgotten Castle

"Who are you?" Rynn asked, deciding that perhaps she could get some solid answers from the woman. She didn't seem hostile, but the knight couldn't help but wonder what had ended her life. She didn't see any obvious wounds on the corpse. As lightning flashed, she was once more confronted with the creatures scrabbling across the back window.

"I don't remember," the phantom said with a smirk and a shrug.

"How can you not remember?" Rynn demanded.

"I don't know. I just don't. I do know though, that this castle is not as it seems. There is evil here."

"I've gathered," Rynn said flatly, and the ghost grinned.

"Good! Then leave me alone, lest I call the demon down here," the phantom said, and continued to drum her fingers soundlessly.

"What demon?" but the only reply was a wagging finger and a shaking head. Rynn frowned and looked down at the corpse. Better answers might be held in the book, though she didn't know what the consequences would be. The spirit did not seem to be of any more help.

A shiver crawled up her spine, she didn't feel like sticking around anymore.

A) Take the book and go to the lobby
B) Leave the book and go to the lobby
C) Leave the book and go to the kitchen.

Re: The Forgotten Castle

B - Lobby has the fire doesn't it? Fire always helps in quelling darkness.. Unless its corrupted fire.

Re: The Forgotten Castle

B. I don't want to take the chance of pissing off a ghost in this place until we have an enchanted silver lightsaber.

Re: The Forgotten Castle

A. I ain't afraid of no ghost

Re: The Forgotten Castle

B. Make sure the fire didn't go out due to unforeseen circumstances.

Re: The Forgotten Castle

Rynn looked down at the book, and ran her fingers across it, but ultimately left it alone. She turned her back to the phantom, and quickly crossed the dining hall and into the main lobby.

The phantom let out a high pitched cackle, which Rynn cut off when she slammed the door to the dining room shut. A shudder crept up her spine as she made her way back to the impromptu fire.

Sitting beside it she shook her head. This whole place was nothing but madness. One of the doors opened on the eastern wing, opposite from where she had come, and a man in a full suit of armour stepped through. Blood ran out from the joints and the closed visor, leaving a slick trail in his wake.

"Get out," he growled.

Rynn let out a sigh as she got to her feet, and the armoured man stopped on the other side of the fire.

"Get out," he repeated.

"No. I'm waiting for the storm to die out," Rynn replied.

"Then, for the sake of this world, I will strike you down," the creature hissed, voice echoing within his helmet, and raised his sword.

A) Flee (choose a direction)
B) Take a defensive stance
C) Attack

Re: The Forgotten Castle

C. TO ARMS!!!!!

Re: The Forgotten Castle

C. We could do with some armored pants after all

Re: The Forgotten Castle

B. This guy is either deranged, or knows something of WTF is going on. I say, try and talk some sence into him while fighting defencively. If he won't listen to reason, kill him.
