I also love the maltloaf. To the point I've independently had the same nickname of "Maltloaf" in my last three jobs. This would be from my habit of eating an entire loaf straight out the packet dry. It's a nutritious self contained easy meal for 18 pence. The army should issue them as rations. I take the time for butter and toasting on the brand name loaves tho.

Good thing I read all of that then, because I was going to say I've been overcharged for all my maltloaf. And yes, I often eat the whole packet as well, though I do generally butter mine up first though. And I always buy the name brand maltloaf, dunno why but it tastes better. Got a friend into maltloaf too, at first he said it looks like crap until I made him try a piece then he instantly fell in love with it.

Ok dumb question time, is maltloaf an actual product, or did I miss a meme somewhere?

And to stay on topic.... I love dumb questions! ^_^

Wow, I never realised simple old malt loaf was such an enigma. 18p stuff I refer to is the Tesco value ranges malt loaf. The quality varies wildly depending on the batch, and the 'malty' flavour is less, but it's still good. And compare it to a 40p Mars Bar its half the price, a fifth of the fat, and a much better overall energy package.

I love reading food labels.
I love not needing too.
I love eating a 2 litre tub of ice cream and not putting on an ounce. ((spare the hefty weight of the cream itself...) from experience.)

I'm American, and as far to my knowledge, we don't have that stuff on this side of the pond. To be honest, i thought someone just misspelled meatloaf.

I love Scatman John.

Actually, scratch that, I love music in general (excluding rap, even fucking "smart" rap, and country). The man who invented strumming on a guitar really really fast is a fucking genius.

I hate you so very much right now :p

But yeah, I tend to by the 60-odd pence stuff, Soren or something like that. It's the one in the yellow packet with raisins decorated on it and possibly something else. The Tesco one to me has a harder crust which I'm not too fond of.

And I love 50% off sales, even if it means Woolworths is closing down forever ;_;

*Walks around barefoot wearing overalls and a straw hat, spitting tobacco into a cleaned out ragu jar and collecting welfare, sleeping with family members who have more than three teeth and living in a trailer park with a high-definition television set connected to a ratty old set of "bunny ears antennas." Is his own grandpa, in a family tree that looks more like a Christmas wreath.*

I'm far enough south that you have to go a few hours north to be in The South.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Any particular type of art, or just art in general?

I love writing, I would love to draw (well), I love the amazing artwork I've seen over the course of my life.
