Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Haven't been on a military vessel myself, but I would assume a partial contributor would be your mindset. If you try to pay attention to the rocking, I damn-well bet you'll notice it. If you're not paying attention to it at all, you'll probably feel it less, or maybe not at all. It also probably depends on how long you've been on the vessel. After only one or two days, you'd probably still feel it, since you'd still not be used to it. After about a week or two, assuming you're not paying attention to it, I'd guess that you wouldn't feel it, or at least it would be minimal.

It's all in the mind.

EDIT: Also, I'd hope a military vessel would be bigger than a sailboat. The larger the vessel, the less noticeable the rocking is. At least, that's been my experience with civilian vessels.

Good points Kusa... as for a military vessel being bigger than a sailboat, I suppose that depends on the nation...

Depends on the vessel too the navy does have river patrol boats, which are quite fun I might add.

True that. When I said vessel though I was implying the larger ones.

Never been on a patrol boat either. Only military water craft I've been on was an assault craft... a rubber pontoon essentially.

Yeah I guess essel does more imply larger than a patrol boat. Still fun though. So are zodiacs though you get a lot more wet in one of those.

But getting wet is the precursor to fun time.

I guess that all depends on wether you mean the good wet or the bad wet.

You may question my taste all you want, but my taste will not give you the answers you seek.

You have not yet sealed your approval or disapproval of my cookie brand dear,

Chips Ahoy are fine.

Speaking of cookie brands, I haven't had an Oreo in almost a year. I love the damn things but everytime I get near one I want to throw all my gear back on and head back over seas... it's fuckin weird.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

I have to say that Alistair is my favorite character in Dragon Age. I Love him.

And so apparently does my little Dwarven warrior princess xD I didn't know that could happen. I'm rather pleased with the results though <3 Why can't i find my own real life Alistair... :'D

And yeah, i love the game. I was hooked when I heard Alistair arguing with that stuffy mage the first time xD

But yeah... Alistair. Mmmm.....
