Re: The pics thread.

I feel like a lumberjack in that flannel shirt. I've been humming Monty Python all day because of it.

I actually have a shirt just like that.

Re: The pics thread.

Heh, I have a zip up tie, last time I wore it was to a wedding. The father of the bride had the same tie...

Re: The pics thread.

Since you people seem to derive pleasure and amusement from my inability to understand your "ties", I'll share another; the first one I managed to successfully tie and get through all the steps.

...It was a... little... step in the right direction.

Re: The pics thread.

-stares at the vodka in her freezer- Hrm. Do I have enough money to get a large bag of tropical skittles?

Re: The pics thread.

I will be googling for instructions or a recipe any moment now...

Regarding ties, I either use my security style clip on tie (it's quite convincing) or the "master tie" my grandpa crafted for me some five years back. He somehow can weave a perfectly symmetrical, perfect length tie, with the ability to pass the thinner end through to loosen or tighten the tie without ever spoiling it's shape. He made it for me once at a wedding, I never un-knotted it and have used it countless times since.

I think every man should know how to knot a tie. It's not like it's rocket science or anything. Even I can knot a tie, and I only wear one about twice a year.

Re: The pics thread.

...i hate you all

Re: The pics thread.

Hey! I Know how to knot a tie! My 8th grade teacher insisted all his students wear a tie every friday. (Tieday Friday)
Cheesy, yes, but it worked. I know how. I wear a tie maybe 3 times a year, but I know how.

<3

I've been shown how to knot a tie maybe half a dozen times. It's one of the easiest knots there are.

Re: The pics thread.

It is. It's extremely easy. Over over up through through pull.

Re: The pics thread.

I've only worn a tie two, maybe three times in my entire life, but I can still tie the stupid thing. Fuck clip-ons, btw. They just feel weird to me.
