I've been getting a ton of blank neutral reps lately, since they're blank I'm going to assume the intention was positive, but then I got one that was quite foul-mouthed and nailed the culprit! Too bad for them, it's easy to know who's trying to neg-rep you when they're the only person with red bars in a thread.

Okay, I see your point, maybe that last sentence was a little snarky. But you're still wrong. A lot of people use Cheat Engine to inject code that actually makes the game more difficult, i.e. replace the "take damage" method with a method that makes you take double damage. You could remove all healing from the game. You could remove party members from the game if you were trying to do a self-challenge solo run.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg. If you know assembly, you can even do things like control objects' positions. Make yourself fly, noclip, etc, so if there's that one trap/pitfall/instant death whatever that you're getting frustrated on, you could skip that and then not do anymore hacking. Or find dummied-out maps. The possibilities are endless. Cheat Engine is a great program for cheating, yes, but you're fooling yourself if you think that's ALL it does.

Well, this is it i guess.I finally got the neg-rep too.So here i was just starting with all the posting and everything on these forums recently, trying to not offend anyone, and it payed off.I even got some positive reputation for once, and it was a big deal for me, since being helpfull in other ways than posting links to games and stuff is the only way i can get any pos-rep(since for my stupid country DL-site, Getchu, and such don't work, so i can't fucking buy anything, and therefore can't share), and the next thing i know i was neg-repped big time(well for my low reputation it was a 2hit kill), by some stupid pricks who were flaming themselves(amongst themselves), in some game thread(which isn't even released yet), flooding the thread with the stupid shit-bombs(them being their stupid insults and comments), that they were throwing at each another(In a quite incoherent way), i told them in a quite normal way(nothing offensive) to stop bothering the other people who were there for the game.Instead of trying to stop further drowning in the shit-storm they've caused, they continued their small war AND neg-repped me(in a very incoherent and inarticulate way).
So, as i am, and will be unable to further recover my rep to any positive value, and i don't want to be one of those people who are in the red without any real reason(and i would accept any neg rep if i was being an idiot in my behaviour towards them and would understand why i got it), i just figured i should just quit this whole posting buisness, while i still have some dignity left.Hmm, i guess i'm just one of those people who hate being hated without any real reason, so i won't take this shit from anyone, especially not from some stupid fucks who're so illiterate, that it's ridicuolus, and this is exactly why i hate the internet, and such people, and it took me a lot of guts to try posting here(as it would anywhere, as i'm not really good at talking with people in any way).

Let me get this straight... you're throwing a hissy fit because some people you think are stupid negrepped you when you got involved with them? And this is sufficient reason to write off the entire forum with hundreds of active users, just because your reputation went to negatives?

Your mistake is you imagine rep means something. It really, really doesn't. And if it does bother you, post outside the H section. This section you can easily get rep by making a good point in a conversation or sharing something neat. The blank page is good if you're an aspiring writer or artist. And there's a whole section full of games and such where all you have to do is play well and have fun and you'll likely get rep'd there.

I love it when people ask me to ban them, because they somehow think i care. maybe i should institute a fair game policy where if someone who decideds that we owe them a good time gets irked because people are people I am allowed to reveal their private information.

Well, so i hoped it will not come down to this, but a clarification of this matter is in order.
First of all, i didn't expect not being neg-repped ever.There are always people who do such a thing for no reason other than to annoy someone else.
Second, those guys who neg-repped me did so without any reason whatsoever, with telling me to fuck my own mother(who is dead by the way, so how very nice of them),and i wasn't the one who told them they were stupid, and didn't think of them as such(until now).
Thirdly, as i try to abide by the rules of this forum to the letter(Don't double post, don't insult anyone, don't flame others or troll them no matter what), i didn't really expect anyone to just punch me in the face(in a way), when i didn't really do anything to express any ill will towards them.
My fourth reason for today is that i automatically assumed, that someone really hated me, cause i just figured out how to see reputation activity for users(and saw those stupid comments).The thing is that this is the first forum that i've posted on ever(yeah,it's hard to belive i know), so i'm not really all that knowledgeable about how everything works, so i just assumed that i blew something big time(and i was really concerned about people not taking very seriously someone with a preety red color in their rep status).
And, Nunu i also really did assume that i would be baned for all that swearing in that last post(i thought that one would normally get baned or something because of something like that).And i don't expect a good ride, or time or something, and i don't care if you care or not!
So, that is all there is to it, so you can call me buthurt or whatever, but as i already told: if i did something wrong neg rep me, punch me till' i'm dead, and then byte my head of, i'll take it all if i know i'm guilty, but don't go telling me all that shit, for no reason!
I'm not that petty to be angry about someone just neg repping me for something, but i won't have them make me look like a shit because of something as small as a game(which as i said before isn't even released yet, so wtf?). So THAT was my whole point.
And, i know that last post caused everyone to really hate me, and never ever respect me, so i don't really have the nerve to post anything else here considering the reactions i got(and i didn't really expect any), and didn't really expect anyone to miss me(i'm not that pathetic).
