Nine enemies? Jesus, shoulda saved that amount for the final level. I just hope to god the other unfinished enemies as of right now don't take too long, though, based off of what Zeta said, it's probably going to be a while.

Again, depression was never a thing that was a thing in development. This is a big project for such a limited team to create. Sure there are POWERHOUSES like Nekonomeme and probably, lol, Kyrieru. But look at how sparcely THEY shell out their projects and games.
You keep expecting them to be at their homes just doing nothing but make the game without any glitches or complications. Jeebus.
If they did shell out updates for the hungry customers more often, you'd see nothing but stick figures and crashes. This is a big boy toy and it requires big boy care to make.

all i want to know is what the code for their games even look like
besides sprites, seems like coding also takes some time for them

White Knight harder. If the team put the kind of energy you spend being passive aggressive then the game would have been fully completed with extra patches and updates 6 years ago.

My two cents are that they should take as much time as they need to refine and make the game they want to see.
I enjoyed playing this game quite a bit, and can definitely relate to the notion that waiting months and months at a time for a single major update is frustrating indeed. After all, the development rate of PX is exceptionally slow, as far as most indies go.
But in that respect, I still believe that they need to work within their own comfortable limits, and have to work with what they've got.
The update release rate is disappointing, but I'll be willing to wait. After all, it's not something that can be fixed with ease. Why make life harder on them?
At least, that's how I've been looking at things.

It's not. Actually, that's only the last paragraph in her post. Earlier is the post, she actually says how much is and isn't done and it's almost done. And she even gives reasons why it takes too long. The biggest of which is that this particular stage has twice as many enemies than the others.
So no, those of us who follow the game aren't white knighting. We simply understand that they don't work very fast because it's a quality over quantity situation.

The thing is, all this bitching about them being slow with their updates will change nothing.
They're not receiving a single cent off of this game (Apart from some donations which are pocket change compared to the cash a lot of H-games are receiving monthly), so they don't have the "Fans are getting angry, we have to speed up so they will keep funding us" attitude. They could not release an update for the next 3 years, and nobody would have any right to complain. They're not even giving out release dates at this point, so people can't say that they're "breaking some promises".
The only thing this whining will achieve is ruining their mood, which will slower the development even more (Guess what developers want to do after reading 50 posts of people complaining about slow development time? Tip: Definitely not make a game for said people). If you want to vent, go punch a wall or something.

I really don't get how could one bitch about a free game, that's provided you for no cost, and you can play it freely whenever you want? The fact that such a fun game (Aside hentai content) is free should be enough.
Appreciate the work of the developer and be patient for new updates. That's all there is to it really.

Sure, the dev team of Project X have full control over their game and can release it as they want. In the same vein, people are allowed to bring up the long update times and perceived lack of communication from the devs.
That said, (and I'm tempted to make a sonic fandom crack here), the White-knighting around this title is just completely ridiculous.

Anyway, some actual discussion about the game. Zeta mentioned a surprise enemy, aside from the already listed 8 they have planned (those being a boar, 2 futa monkeys, 2 differently gendered pterodactyl, a raptor, and a futa riding a raptor).
Any ideas on what this mysterious enemy will be?

The complaints are inevitable, in a way. After all, this yearly waiting time is... pretty silly. I can speak for most when I say that I understand the majority that ends up being aggressive over the game because of things like this. Frustration over a hiatus, or long dev time, is perfectly justifiable.
But what isn't justifiable is needless shit-tossing and pointless insults... I mean, seriously, there are better places to vent, and it helps no one at all. Like, seriously.
On an unrelated note, is there any mention of evil mode returning, ever? I mean, maybe it was asked somewhere in the PX forums, but I'm getting a white screen when I try to check...
