sigh. I've hit a wall here. Sadly I'm getting a case of lazies. When I think of doing a new school, I know (sooner or later) I'm going to have to come up with new NPCs too and.... bleh. I'm not abandoning this, I'm just... having trouble.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like most of the stress comes from straining over how to make the system fit into the world and the entire story alignment.
I know that I've certainly been frustrated and nearly thought to back out a couple times when half of us know the setting deeply, and half of us have no idea.
That's actually one of the reasons why I like original worlds. Because you can step aside from the pre-existing material, do your own thing, and NOT need to research constantly for days just to make things fit.

We've hit a wall here. I haven't given this any though in a long time. And when I do think about starting new schools, I start dreading having to conjure up several NPCs for to interact with. I am trying to work out some stuff and have started a few other projects as well, so no definite time when this might be ready to go. Sorry.

If you have no ideas, you could just make dopplegangers of the original cast, and make 'em look different, but act the same.

You could (That is of course only a suggestion) Create a whole new school,with it's own leader and everything.And for the actual anime's cast,they could come to that same school often for plot and/or story reasons.

I think that's the problem Tenta's having. Having to come up with the new school and all of the NPCs in it.
If I may make a suggestion, how about letting the players make the school, or at least, parts of it?
Also, RJ and I have finished our characters' background story, we could post our sheets if you wanted. Might help generate some ideas.

Okay. Maiko makes sense. I know it's lazy, but better then letting this thing run the risk of becoming stillborn. And you and RJ can feel free to post your characters up too.

Well, I've posted my sheet in the Character Sheet thread. Figured it was the best place to do so.
Did you have anything you had in mind for us to work on Tenta?

Sorry Kenny, I've got an idea for an NPC already. It'll have to wait though. A character like this requires solid work. I mean... Where you so obviously stated who your Magatama legend is, it should be pretty obvious who I'm working on.

Well, I suppose it's up to individual choice about the Magatama thing, but Masumune is often compared, in legend only as the two men lived and worked centuries apart, with Muramasa, another famous swordmaker. Look up Muramasa in wiki and you should get an idea of the NPC I'm going to work on. He'll obviously be your rival, and pretty scary to everyone else too, I hope.

Oh,so that's what you were refering to.Well i never actually tought anyone would make some kind of NPC related to my character...It's actually a great idea maiko,take all the time you want.But don't feel forced in any kind of way to do it.
