Also I agree on the linear difficulty point, which is why i liked the original more as an experience.

If you're looking to min-max the labyrinth is the place to go, it's fun seeing how far your comps can go against the mega bosses.

The labyrinth of chaos. Its an endless endgame dungeon with bonus events and bosses (no h-scenes though) where you can find insane equipment that ruin the main story and is only supposed to be used within the labyrinth. You get to it by going into the double door in the starting castle on the 2nd floor and checking the bookshelf I think.

Fair warning though. The mega bosses you face every 100th floor have a possibility to be a spoiler for part 3. Many of the mega bosses look to be end game bosses from part 3, in the same way mega bosses back in part 1 were spoilers for the final bosses in part 2 before it was released.

with all the characters with BF in recruitment method, search for Marie so you just go directly there. At least I think all BF are recruitable. Hopefully you did miss someone and that allows you to find which one, otherwise I don't know.

Also since you mentioned wanting job changing item did you get the Apoptosis one? I missed that one in my first playthrough since I saw it in the last Tartarus and forgot to come back later when I had the key card, only realized when I hit that point in the second playthrough.
 
Bro did I really just recruit Alma Elma in the post game? Hope that doesn't fuck up my save for part3.

I think that one is similar to part 1's Nanabi recruitment, and maybe the Leviathan, Sphinx, Yamata no Orochi, and Circue du Croix recruitment events. It's a challenge, but there won't be any problem if you do clear it. Actually, since the Alma Elma recruitment event is a monster castle request board event, it might be that you're actually supposed to get it done right after part 2.

This is more of an optional thing, but there's also the boss fight against Alipheese 8th in the alternate monster lord's castle, if you haven't fought her yet; you can't have Alicetroemeria and/or Heinrich in the party, however.

Yeah that's another enemy to fight.

I guess I don't have Nanabi, Leviathan, Yamata no Orochi or Circue du Croix either. Still... I think I'm pretty much satisfied with the amount of time I've put in. Alipheese the 8th is straightforward so I'll probably do that then put the game up and wait for part3... which won't have any translation progress for forever...

You can have Alicetroemeria in the party, it's just that she leaves the party (claiming to be going for a walk) when you enter the throne room.
 
hey guys, looking at the picture folder there are some extended additional immages for some monstergirls like scylla servant, radio and lucifina-chan. for some scenes you need to equip the girls with a certain weapon (sonya) or armor (hild) to alter the scene, but for some new ones(those mentioned first) i cant figure out what to do exactly, any clues?

(tried some basic search in this thread and the seesaawiki but nothing...)

The first is Kanon, the ancestor of plant monsters. Her plant nature gives her potent regeneration and allows her to control other plants, though it also makes her vulnerable to poison and fire. She also has some kind of "ultimate form", but doesn't like using it because she dislikes how it looks. She rules over the Monster World's Grangold, though she's a fairly poor ruler. Like Kanade, she's helping with the Demiurge superweapon. As mentioned in her previous profile, she's voracious.

I haven't heard of additional H-scenes for these characters. It's possible that they'll be added in Part 3.

Jesus, it's been over two years and they're hiring people for map development, on top of that, they saying Part 3 is still far away. I was actually hedging bets that we'd be getting Part 3 in the Summer 2020, but now even that isn't looking very likely. If this production actually goes beyond 2020, then what the fuck. At that point if you're gonna make your fans wait that long, expectations are gonna be high and they better deliver.

My guess is that there was some behind-the-scenes drama again... or maybe it just takes that long to flesh out the story for two entirely different routes + job/race planning, BFers, etc. At least some art is already done. The skeleton is taking shape, just gotta add the rest. I'm a little upset too but when I think about how long the Part 2 translation took, I'm not too bummed. By the time it comes out, I might have even already passed N3 and could probably play the game without translation anyways.

Everything about this just screams to me that they bit off more than they could chew. When I head Part 3 would be two separate paths, I assumed that it'd either be:

A. First half of the game is different depending on who you chose, Ilias or Alice, and then the 2nd half of the game the paths converge into the lead up to the finale.

or...

B. Each path is it's own game, but they're relatively small. Maybe around 50 - 75% the length of Part 1. However if you complete the path for both Illias and Alice, it unlocks a final map which leads to the true ending. All in all, a game that is roughly the size of Part 2 all together, maybe a bit more.

But nope. It sounds like when they said they're be two separate paths and would be like two games in one, I guess they meant that in the most literal sense possible. I believe there was a 27 month wait between Part 1 and Part 2. So far it's been 28 months since Part 2, and they're still saying release is far away, with no indication of a 2020 release. That troubles me. I mean yes it troubles me in the sense that I guess I am being inpatient, which is a bad thing. But mostly because it leaves me wondering exactly how smooth development is coming. They're either having trouble, or they cramming as much stuff as humanly possible in this.
 
Honestly I do not mind the waiting time all that much anymore. MGQ has somewhat of a special place for me because the first game of the original trilogy was the first game I ever played that had female on male domination of any kind. Never appealed to me before that because I am not a submissive or masochistic guy but I played it anyway because people said the story was amazing. Really liked the story parts of it, scenes not all that much but it lead to me warming up to the content so I now play some of these types of games too, even enjoy the content somewhat if it does not go down the freaky, nasty or backdoor route. Paradox I only liked for the vast amounts of content and gameplay because I think the story is, quite frankly, complete garbage and contains basically every element I despise in storytelling, so the content and gameplay was all I got, and thanks to the scenes being so numerous theres still a lot left for me even if I avoid certain artists or fetishes like the plague.

Due to this I was initially mad that they didn't release it yet and it currently seems like they will need to mid 2021 at least, but if it means the game will be bigger as a result, why not. Theres always something else to play, and when it finally comes out, even if it is 2021 or even 2022, the game will be all the more massive for it, fusing together with part 1 and 2 to be one of the biggest eroge games in living memory. I mean they could deliver some more specific updates on when it releases, what they have actually planned, which monsters will be in and who draws them, maybe even deliver the occasional teaser fight or scene to keep people interested over all these years of waiting time, but they were never that kind of studio, radio silence and the occasional mini update was always the best you could hope for with these guys. The only concern I have is that the game will cost a damn fortune when it does come out.

I think it's all but guaranteed it will at the very least be more expensive than the price for Part 1 and 2. If it's taking twice the time and resources to develop, they gotta make up for that somewhat.

It mentions things we already knew, like Micaela being the strongest angel, the commander of Heaven's armies, and Ilias' most trusted confidant. It also reveals that Micaela administers the Ilias Continent, which is a paradise for the most virtuous humans. The interesting thing is what's revealed (and not revealed) about Lucifina:

"Her sister Lucifina, who was created at the same time, is just as powerful, but she was [Redacted]. Now that Lucifina has been [Redacted], Michaela has become Ilias' most trusted confidant.

A few decades at the Remina Research Institute, Luci[Redacted]. Then [Redacted] on the moon's surface. [Redacted]"

It seems that the angel world Ilias is taking cues from the SCP Foundation. In more than one way, if that second-last [Redacted] is covering up "she was sealed".
 
I wanted to add this here sometime around New Years. Dear Toro Toro, please hurry up development on chapter 3 of Paradox. Some may start developing erectile dysfunction from old age before chapter 3 is released. They shouldn't need to order Viagra before playing your game. Thank you Toro Toro for your hard work; I hope to see it sometime before Half Life 3.

The post on TRTR blog we have it’s on before Cristhmas and they only go do a new post on February , and for me i want part 3 comes soon because I still have a challenge to do with is finish entire Paradox in full Japanese as bersker /Valkyrie and yes I did beat the shit out on it Black Alice with this while part 3 not comes I can grind like a bitch on LOC just to face worldbreaker /Judgment Luka the chance of me win against them is extremely low since they are Bullshit by itselfs
