Touhou CYOA - Second edition

Re: Touhou CYOA - Second edition

Still deciding to search around the forest, Byakuren and her newfound partner Shou head towards that mysterious lonely house Byakuren saw a few days ago. The few hostiles that dared to approach them were quickly despatched by Shou and her formidable spear prowess. Besides Shou's martial skill, Byakuren found her honest, straightforward attitude to be very uplifting

By evening they reached the house. The chimney was belching a bit of smoke, so they knew someone or something was living there. Not wanting to be impolite, Byakuren knocked on the door. No answer. Noticing that the door was unlocked, she slowly opens it up. "Anybody hooome?" No answer still. The house is nicely furnished, with a fireplace and a bookshelf dominating the main room. Under a table, there's a basket full of all kinds of mushrooms.

Hearing splashes of water, Shou opens up the door they think the sounds are coming from. As soon as she opens the door completely, a book flies out to smack her in the face. "You don't disturb a lady's bathtime!" can be heard from the room. The person in the bath slams the door shut, but emerges a moment later with a towel wrapped around her small, slim body. This girl has long blonde hair and golden yellow eyes. Looking at Byakuren, her eyes widen up a bit. "Oh, you're that lady Kourin was taking care of"

After introductions, the girls sit down by the fireplace to chat a bit more and have some of Marisa's mushroom soup. Talking about magic, youkai and other things, the conversation soon drifts to magical items. Showing Marisa the item she found, her smile widens more. "You've found my Hakkero! I lost it earlier when I was picking mushrooms in the forest ze." Looking at the box, Byakuren can still feel it's power. "Would you return it to me ze?"

A. Give the Hakkero back to Marisa

B. Don't give it to her

Re: Touhou CYOA - Second edition

A

Because it's the right thing to do.

Re: Touhou CYOA - Second edition

A) Getting on the wrong side of Marisa is never healthy.

Re: Touhou CYOA - Second edition

I'm tempted to say (B), have a danmaku duel over it or something, but we can't even fly yet.

So (A).

A

im with Aurani "plmnko is starting to tremble"

Re: Touhou CYOA - Second edition

(Unanimous vote again, not surprisingly. But yes, messing with Marisa would've been pretty bad, ze~)

Without a second thought, Byakuren hands the Hakkero back to Marisa. Visibly delighted, Marisa pockets the box. "Thanks lady. If you're ever in need of some magical assistance, you can count on me ze~" she says with a big grin on her face.

After a good night's sleep, Byakuren and Shou bid farewell to Marisa and her comfy home. With Marisa's promise of future aid in her mind, Byakuren continues her journey in good spirits.

A. The sea

B. The mountains

(I can guess cross' vote here, but go ahead and do it anyway)

Re: Touhou CYOA - Second edition

A. I don't remember a sea in any of the touhou games so this should be a little more interesting.

Re: Touhou CYOA - Second edition

With the mountains as their destination, the pair get a move on through the forest. After a few hours of uneventful forest travel, they begin to approach the base of the mountains. The forest gets thicker near the mountain, and animals are hardly there.

Finally reaching the base, the girls notice that there is a cave nearby. Taking a quick look at the cave's entrance, they note that it goes deep underground

A. Enter the caves

B. Carry on and up the mountain path

Re: Touhou CYOA - Second edition

A) Dark caves are always fun to explore, nothing bad ever hides in dark caves, if there were torches and such it would be much dangerous, honestly.

Re: Touhou CYOA - Second edition

B)

I'd rather climb up than go down.
